pulled up, they asked what service I wanted, I told them oil change, they directed me to the door to wait. waited for the car ahead to leave and was directed into the garage, they asked me to open my hood and I did. then sat there for 30+ minutes with no one acknowledging me at all or asking which oil I wanted. I had my last oil change done at this location but decided to go elsewhere for my next service. During that visit, I was informed that the oil filter housing had been damaged, something that needed immediate replacement. I attempted to contact Take 5 about the issue, but couldn't find any working phone numbers, and no one answered the ones listed online. I eventually went to the shop in person, but the manager was unable to provide any further contact information. After some effort, I managed to find an email address and was told someone would follow up with me within 5-10 business days regarding my claim. It's now been almost a month, and I haven't received any response for over two weeks. I am not big on leaving reviews or anything like that especially not good ones! But if I could give this place zero stars I would. We are currently still sitting in line and it's been close to 45 minutes, with only two cars in front of us. A guy camped out in the bathroom for about 20 of those minutes while two guys did all the work on three different vehicles. It's supposed to be take 5 and be quick and easy but it's been take 15 on each vehicle and has not made me happy. No wonder this place has 2.5 stars. I am not sure what is going on but it was terrible. People are in front of me still waiting and it's been close to an hour for them. Everybody is irritated and multiple people have left already. Not impressed I do not recommend going to this Take 5. Ok. I look at Kwik Kar and they're packed. It's 2:15 on a Monday. Across the street at Take 5 there is NO ONE!!! So...of course I pull in to sneak in a state inspection. As I pull in the attendant say "can't do an inspection...the guy who does it is OUT..." NO SUBSTITUTE??!! No back up? Come on!!! I've maintained this car for years. My wife had to take our family car in for a basic oil change because I was out of the country for work. I just arrived from out of town and noticed a huge oil leak on our driveway. I noticed the back of the invoice shows 30days or 1000mi. We just passed this warranty mark. I hope the only problem is a rookie mistake like a double gasket on the oil filter. Oddly, the oil quantity is still slightly passed overfill, so they also over filled the oil. Also, it looks like the cheapest oil filter ever made is installed. Will edit this review after I properly diagnose and correct the issue. read more

If I could, I'd give 0 stars! My 16 yr old daughter stopped at this location for an oil change and the "so called" store manager, Chris is the one who helped her.... her hood on her BMW was tricky to open and she let him know, he then used a screwdriver to PRY her latch back to open it up. After charging her $72 for an oil change, he sent her on her way. Not even 1 mile down the road her hood flew up shattering her windshield, smashing her hood, roof of the car and fenders. She was not only shaken up about it, but I immediately went back up there to speak to them and they tried to blame her! Now a few weeks later, I have YET TO HEAR FROM ANYONE OF AUTHORITY about the repairs getting done, and continue to get the run around! Worst experience EVER! read more

Came in to get an oil change, before I even agree upon a price and service they just start tearing apart my vehicle, taking the oil filter off, checking air filter, etc, etc. Just wanted an oil change, didn't need anything else, and I certainly don't appreciate them starting the process before first agreeing upon a price. Samantha was the manager who started work too early, and instead of fixing the situation decided to put the filter back on and made the statement that she didn't want to perform an oil change for my vehicle. They stripped the oil plugs in 2 cars I took there. Left the skid plate hanging off one and said we needed to buy more screws to put the skid plate in place. They lost the screws and my wife drove with the skid plate hanging off which they didn't tell her when she left. Only upon me returning to question them about it they told us we needed to buy the parts for them to mount it up again. They employee young kids that have no work ethic or respect and take 0 responsibility for their shotty work. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Can this really be a business for oil change? Wow just wow! Excellent employees working for this facility and all I can say is that the service did not stop there I was later greeted by Aidan. The service still amazed me at this point. These guys are the best I don't know where I'm the world you found these kind men but you better keep them cause I am making excuses to what else I may need to come back! This is the real deal here! Don't ever waste your time with a state inspection here. I decided to try this location since the location is near my house and the other business I take my other cars to is closed on Saturday. There was only one car in front of me and I was told 15 minute wait. That's fine and I was told to park in front. After twenty-five minutes I got out of my vehicle and inquired why two cars that arrived after me went before me. Their answer was "oil changes take priority" ... cool glad I was not told this before and could be an infinite wait before being serviced (which would have taken half the time as an oil change) You have now lost the business of someone living in close vicinity that owns 7 vehicles as well word of mouth of anyone I can tell. read more

All the bad reviews on here make no sense. If you have no inspector available, then they aren't available. You have to go get certified to be an inspector so not everyone can inspect your car at a shop. Also, long wait times are totally normal at places like this. As for my experience, each time I've been here they got me in as quick as possible. They check everything for me including my filters and I appreciate that. No upselling, only recommendations. They offered me water and my toddler snacks. I love that I can stay in my car and get what I need done. It's also rare to go to an oil change shop and see so many positive attitudes. I went here on Friday to get a state inspection and one of the employees said their inspection tech was at lunch. I asked him what time they open and if the inspection tech would be there when they open. He told me 7 am and yes the tech would be there. I show up at 7:30 and the same employee tells me their inspection tech isn't in today and then when I tell him that he told me yesterday he would be there he said "oh well he comes in at 11". I came here to write a good review for the crew at the shop. They're cool as hell and they do their job quick. As soon as I pulled in they started working on my car. As expected for a quick oil change shop. They live up to their name. If you come in to a shop treating the employees like crap you won't get treated well. The new team is OP! They are always up there every time I stop by for a top-off or oil change. They never try to push you into anything you don't need and if they tell you that you need something... it makes since. First of all they are open at 9 AM on a Sunday which is a win. Second of all I have a pain in the butt Fiat 500 and they actually had the oil filter for me. Most places don't have the filter or want to charge me an arm and a leg because of how difficult to do an oil change on a Fiat is. These guys were like no problem we can get it handled. I'm not gonna lie it took longer than five minutes however they were still able to get the job done with a smile on their faces. I felt bad because I know the car is a pain in the butt. Recently had an oil change here just before a 3500 mile driving vacation. Subsequently changed my oil myself only to find that my the oil filter seal from the previous filter had not been removed thus causing two seals to be present. Lucky there was no leak due to this very basic, easy-to-prevent, and negligent error. Went back to show the manager Gerardo what had occurred. He agreed it was a bad mistake but was completely unapologetic, made excuses that it was due to previous employee problems, and made no offer of a refund or complimentary oil change. Completely unresponsive to an error that could have been disastrous. Don't trust this place with your car or if you do, don't expect the management to respond to a subsequent problem. They will give you a receipt showing all the nice extras they have done checked off (like checking tire pressure and washing your windows) even though they don't actually do them. But simple competence in the oil change itself would be a better thing. Or at least a simple "we are sorry" when they make a mistake. By my experience, even that simple courtesy is to much to expect. read more
