Not only that but they charged $100 for the oil change. So for about 2 months oil had been spilling out all over the alternator and completely ruined it. We took it to a friend's shop and the alternator replacement was around $900. Came back to this shop and they said that they couldn't reimburse us for the lousy oil change job or for the alternator fix. So long story short their oil change cost us roughly $1000. Not an establishment worth its salt in my opinion

I almost bought a used car today. I took it here to have it checked out because there was a lot of…read morevibration in the front end and the seller said the brake light stayed on, although when I test drove there were no warning lights on at all. The main mechanic here, James, plugged the car into the diagnostic computer and flat out asked the man selling the car, "Who cleared all these codes? There are 5 codes that have been cleared off." He openly accused the seller of wiping the codes so they wouldn't trigger warning lights for 30-100 miles... the seller denied the accusation saying he "knew that trick" but he hadn't done that. I am not here to judge the seller, he'd only had the car a little while and very well may have been unaware... I guess. My point is, James saved me possibly thousands of dollars on a cash-car that may have been a heap. I loved the way James stood up to the seller, looked me in the eye and said, "I wouldn't buy this car if I were you." Made me feel like he was in my corner. When I asked what I owed him he told me there would be no charge since all he did was check the computer, I was full well expecting to have to pay him $65 dollars still. Even though they are out of my living area I have found my mechanic and will be bringing any car I get as well as my wife's car here from now on!
