I have now gone to this location 3 times and have had to wait over 30 minutes to be serviced. Just TODAY I waited a minute of 30 minutes before I just drove off. This is unacceptable and this doesn't even include the time they forgot to put the oil cap back on and I had oil spew everywhere. I went straight over to a mom & pop shop called "G & L Lube & Oil" at 1316 Pershing Dr. in Killeen. I recommend that business 100% over this trash Take 5 spot. read more

If I could review them at zero I would. I had to get my car towed because the oil light kept coming on and then eventually it did not start.Due to the negligence of the person that changed my oil I had to get the oil pressure switch replaced,they did something wrong and the district manager denied my claim. prior to me taking it to a mechanic I went back to take five so they can see why my light kept coming on and the guy asked me who helped me and I told him it was a lady and he made fun of her and told me she was stupid and dumb and that she was smoking that sh"it , his exact words along with the other guys laughing about her. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had do not take your car there, it ended up costing me $146 for everything to be replaced, a hard lesson, I'll stick to Jiffy lube. read more

I won't be coming back. The only reason I came is because I was across the street and had a little time to spare, plus I had a discount that they didn't apply. It took about 45 minutes, I was told only synthetics were available so I had to choose an option that is more expensive and something I just don't want for my vehicle. I've gone to Take 5 back home and they usually give you a water and by the time I'm halfway finished the oil change is complete and I'm driving off. I ate my entire breakfast sitting in the lane before they even began servicing. read more

I went for a oil change and waited in for over 20 minutes. Once I got in they should that the collent needs to be changed and explained the the balls on the tester were separated and needs to be done. I agreed to have it done and asked to retest it and he hesitated. He retested it and the balls were more separated than before. He explained that they don't a correct tester to show its good. so if my wife were to take the car back it would show as in bad shape and they would of course resell that same service iHe said it does not have the correct tester. shame on you for trying to tip me read more

Needed an oil change away from home as our travels put us over the mileage. They were extremely efficient in getting the job done. Josh and Terry were fantastic. I took my GT to this place as my car was in need of an oil change I was told to take my car here. I usually take it to where I bought it always but due to the fact that I was out of town my service light came on stating I was due for a oil change I went on and took it to take 5 oil change oh what a big mistake that was my car will never go back there again! A week later my light came on again I said what the heck is going on here I was right there where I usually take my car I pulled in asked them could they please take a look at my car so they put it on the stands he calls us over and said you have issues look there was soooo much oil from the front of the car all the way to the back of the car so we had to have have another oil change which cost us again our daughter took her car there after us she didn't know we had issues they forgot to put her oil plug back on she ended up blowing up her engine her car is in the shop right now so the both of us got messed over so please don't take your to them I don't recommend this place at all !!!!!! read more

I have only visited this place one other time and they were the only ones open within the hours I was able to go today. I will be contacting this establishment first thing tomorrow morning. We won't be going here again. Not only did they strip my oil pan bolt, they had an attitude when they had to replace it and pay for an oil change at a different location. I had talked to the manager, he assured me the part was ordered and it would be in the next couple of days.....after calling and calling......my husband goes in there.....they didn't even order the part yet!! It was like 2 or 3 weeks later after my husband went in there that they got the part ordered. They had an attitude all along, they kept lying to me about them ordering the part. We came in for an oil change at 7am as soon as they opened. We got 1.5 miles away and got a Low Oil alert. We stopped to check it out and all our oil was leaking out from the filter and our engine was smoking. WTHeck!!! It's a good thing our car has an alert system. Poor workmanship!! read more

Came in to do a State Inspection for my truck around 5:50pm. There was 2 cars and a truck ahead of me in line. Shortly after 6:00 pm and employee came out to talk to all of us still in-line to inform us that they can't take us in. I told him that I just needed a State Inspection and he said that he might be able to get me in but he must ask his manager. He came back out and his manager said no even though they are open for business until 7:00pm. He stated that his manager was the only one that can do State Inspection so basically his Manager got lazy and turned a customer away. So I guess that I will not come back to that place for my business. read more

The technicians spilled a bunch of oil all over my serpentine belt during my oil change. When I started my truck to leave the bay, it started making a terrible clicking sound. I had to have my truck towed from Take 5. The mechanics verified that the oil spillage caused my serpentine belt to be damaged and slip off of the pulley. It cost me over $300 out of my pocket. The manager ,Marquelle , assured me that it was company policy for them to cover the damage expenses and they refuse to answer my phone calls. I had the oil change and vehicle towed this past Sunday Jan 8, my truck was repaired by a mechanic on Monday Jan 9, and I haven't heard anything from the shop in regards to paying for the repairs. read more

We use Take Five for every oil change. They offer military discount which is much appreciated. I was blown away at a mostly female staff. I love that this company hires so many women in a male dominated industry. We have always gotten in and out with ease. Everyone is so friendly and professional. The only car we have they can't do our oil change is our Fiat. I hope in the future this will change and they will get the equipment for these cars. I don't like going anywhere else! read more

They REFUSED to change the oil on my 2003 Honda Element. The first time I went, they said there was an oil leak at the bottoms of the pan. The second time, they said that the oil has pushed a bolt up on my engine usually signifying a deeper issue. They referred me to pep boys (which I didn't go) and sent me on my way. I had a friend, who works on vehicles for a living, and he stated that the bolt is supposed to be like that, and they were idiots who didn't know what they were talking about. I think Take 5 just didn't want to work on my car. That's ok, I found a better place with better customer service. read more

They are a rip off and just false advertisment to get people in there. They charge my son 119.82 for a freaking oil change and claim that we need to replace wipers which had been change about a month ago. I try to ask them to stop witj inspection and wipers and they refused to cancel. They claimed 5 minutes wait in your car. My son was in the car waiting for over 30 minutes with this heat. They saw someone young and took advantage of them. Don't do business there. Tried to use this business, but had to leave. Supposed to be on a first come basis, but after waiting 10 minutes for the 2 cars ahead of me, the pulled in a car that had just barely pulled in!! The guy said they just needed to do a quick air check on that car- so what? I needed a quick oil change before having to go to work!!
