After waiting forever trapped with a vehicle in the bay in front of me, and someone close behind me, I finally got into the bay, he tells me to pop the hood, and he promptly goes off to service a car in another bay. So there is no one in the pit below, or up top, doing anything to the car, after rotting outside. There is a real lack of competition in this niche, no Valvolines or Jiffy Lubes to keep them responsive or reasonably priced. I drove from there to buy the components to do it myself, I easily would have been done and sipping a lemonade in the time these folks spent giving me the razzle dazzle. read more

After waiting a few minutes and being told to switch bays so someone else could go in who had apparently been waiting longer than us, we continued waiting for another 45 mins and finally gave up and left. All 3 bays were taken when we arrived and no car left the entire time we were there. Two cars pulled in after us, waited a while and then left before we did. They need to get their act together. I admit I did have to wait about 45 minutes but sometimes you just have to wait. I was there during the lunch hour so that contributed to it. Listen, they do a decent job for people probably making a little more than minimum wage. I got the Mobile1 product. If you want swanky service make an appt somewhere else. It will be far less convenient than just pulling in and giving up one hour while you can some sh!t done on your phone. read more

I have coming to this location 2.5 - 3 years and never had a visit like today. There were 3 cars in bays and one waiting at each bay. I was behind a pick up truck and I waited 50 minutes. Finally the truck left and I asked the guy if that was the new 10 minute oil change. I wasn't being a wise guy, just a simple question. The guy right away coped an attitude. And said do you want to get your oil changed or not? Boligerant. I said yes because I was already there. I pulled the car into the bay, turned it off and sat there for another 15 minutes. My hood was not lifted yet. The lady next to me was sitting there for 20 minutes and her hood was not lifted yet. I could only see 2 guys and they were both working on the car in the third bay. I knew that I probably had another 45-60 minutes to get out of there. So I nicely told the guy that I had to go and started inching forward to leave. The guy went ballistic and started yelling at me. Someone else would have gotten out of the car and punched him but I just laughed at him. So I drove away with him still yelling at me. Take 5 has lost a good customer and has created someone to talk bad about this business. That employee should be fired or sent back to training. read more

5 minute oil change took 20 minutes, tried to sell me an air filter for "only $26.00" but the report said filter was clean, biggest disappointment was a $3.99 shop service charge. that is part of the cost of doing business. I can't imagine a restaurant adding a charge for kitchen service charge. all in all I was very disappointed in this company. felt like I was being ripped off. read more

Always trying to get you to pay for other crap you don't need. Then they feed you some line like it's unsafe if you don't buy it and have it changed. They talked my dumb self into getting synthetic oil and my car does not need synthetic at all. .. They let you pull in but help the cars next to you that come in after you do! It's hot as hell in there waiting with no AC on while they work on other cars and you're just suppose to sit there and drink some water cause that'll make it better. There is one guy there that does an amazing job though, I don't know his name but he has long hair, a beard, and he usually wears a hat backwards. That dude gets stuff done and if he isn't there then good luck getting your car fixed on right away!! read more

Bob, Jeremy and the crew at this Take 5 station were highly professional and courteous. As a military veteran, they treated me with respect and thanked me for my service to my country. I was in and out in less than twenty minutes and I plan to use this establishment as my oil change location. I am happy to have brought my car into this station. Deceptive. They want you to stay in your car for a reason. Told me I had lights burnt out on the rear taillights. I declined to have them install replacements. When I pulled out I got out of the car and checked my lights. They were all working just fine. Also the price you pay is higher than what is advertised. No thanks...I'll go elsewhere. read more

Went there first thing in the morning and the 2 young men were effective and efficient almost to the point of military precision. All communication was performed with military repeat back precision. Was out of there in under 10 minutes and oil, filter, air filter and fluids all were topped off. Tires were pressure checked. An amazingly simply and pleasant experience. read more

I got to sit in my car with my baby while my oil was changed. The man was really sweet, brought me a water, was really welcoming and gave good directions to me as far as what he wanted me to do like pop the hood, pull forward, etc. I would definitely come back here for my oil changes. read more

They were fast to wait on me and explained the different types of service I could go with without any pressure. They explained what they were doing on my car at all times while I remained in the car. Terrible service. The salesmen are pushy and deceptive. Even the manager is awful. They advertise $18.99 standard oil changes and when you ask if that's the price they say yes. I figured even with taxes at 7% the final cost will be around $20 and some change but it's not. They put on multiple up charges and extras which they don't mention beforehand which ends up bringing the total close to $40. Never again. I contacted their corporate offices but have not heard back yet. read more
