I visited this Express Oil Change when I was out and about, breezing through life and forgetting to tell my partner that my oil needed changing for far too many days, lol. I figured I could slip in and be responsible on my own and the team here made that happen. I never love getting out of my car and waiting for the maintenance to be done in those cold, oddly quiet waiting rooms. So when I realized I could avoid that here, I ran to make an appointment. I was in and out within 20 minutes, such a great experience. I had a really sweet woman greet me and work on my car, I love seeing women in auto care and appreciate her being so kind. This was the worst oil change my household has experienced. The pictures say it all. They said the oil on my garage floor, as a result of LEAKS of fresh oil right after their oil change, wasn't their problem. We ended up having to go out there 3 times as it kept leaking intermittently. You pay $100 for an oil change and don't even get to drive it to get your money's worth before it's leaking fresh oil. The first time they "tightened the plug to stop the active leak"...a week later it's back, more oil stains. Go back out there AGAIN and even asked to file a claim and was REFUSED. They don't have any corporate overhead or even a protocol. This place is the most poorly run franchise of Take 5 that I've ever experienced in my life. The district manager admitted that he was a potential concern their parts and that my issue is with them (the manufacturer) and not the oil change itself...imagine saying that to a customer. Imagine a DISTRIBUTOR or manufacturer being the business of a RETAIL customer. That's not for us to handle, that's for your business to handle. File a recall or complain with your source and take care of your customers. Foolish and unprofessional. That's not the customer's responsibility. We trust you when we PAY you for the service. Source quality products and once you find there's an issue call your impacted customers proactively and have them come in to fix it. At minimum the oil change should've been refunded, for the damage, time, energy and gas it took to go up there over and over for what a few minutes in their lube bay caused, but James seemed oddly fixated with my complaint about oil on my garage floor instead of the fact that YOUR OIL CHANGE CAUSED A REOCCURRING LEAK. What if our engine locked up and the car was destroyed? Can you afford to be down a vehicle in your family? During these times? They didn't care one bit about putting our vehicle at risk or damaging our personal property as a result. I BEG you to take your car elsewhere. The technicians are kind, but this business does not take care of their customers or stand by the quality of their work. Read the lower reviews. We are not the only folks who've experienced this. Do you have the time to ply Russian roulette with your car? Express Oil Change, Calhoun's or Precision Auto tune in Austell if you don't mind waiting. 1 Star - Predatory & Disrespectful I sent my young, trusting son here for an oil change while I stayed home caring for my special needs child after a seizure. Instead of treating him with honesty, they tried to sell him "urgent" repairs (new oil filter & coolant flush) my car absolutely did NOT need -- it had been serviced at the dealership just a month ago. Luckily, my son called me and I told him to refuse and to have them, call me. They did not. When he declined, they still charged him $128 for an oil change and refused to honor their own $25 coupon, even with proof. They gave him $10 instead. When I called Take 5, to discuss it, James/Jimmy repeatedly talked over me, raised his voice, and hung up on me. When I called back, he claimed I was interrupting him -- all while doing it again. No apology, no attempt to make it right. This isn't just poor customer service. It's taking advantage of people who don't know car repairs and disrespecting women who dare to question them. If they'll do it to my son, they'll do it to anyone. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The price was reasonably. I only gave them 3 stars because of the lack of professionalism. They had some kind of internal team issue and the manager and a staff member were arguing back and forth as they both attempted to assist customers. The other members of the staff who weren't involved did their best to continue assisting other customers and pretend like it wasn't happening. The awkwardness of the moment was felt throughout the small space. I'd come back as the service preformed on my car was done well but it was delayed due to this. read more

Went to this place today to get an oil change. I was told to pull behind a car. There was a car that pulled to the right off me waiting for service. That truck got there 10 minutes after I did. When I noticed that he got pulled in next, I looked to see what the workers were doing to the car in front of me. To my surprise, they were laughing and joking with the people in the car ahead of me all that time I was waiting. When I got out the car to close my hood, that's when the car ahead of me was told to pull out. The customer service sucks & I'll never go back to that place again. Jiffy Lube it is. read more

I came and got in 1 of the 3 lanes and I was asked to let another car go ahead since allegedly they were onsite before me, but I was in a faster lane. I complied and when a vehicle that came after me got service ahead of me, I was not afforded the same courtesy. When I addressed it with the manager that allegedly made the call, I was offered a $10 discount. This experience was not good. I have also been to other facilities where service was good and no favoritism was shown to customers. This site is lacking because it appeared to be that a friend was given preferential treatment and a $10 discount it's not worth my time, and if it happens to me, it can happen to somebody else. Extremely unprofessional, there was a long line so I waited patiently until they got to my car, when they got to my car they were doing more talking and laughing than actually LOOKING at my car during my oil change. After my oil change, I was driving and noticed the smell of burning rubber, I thought it was someone else until I got home and noticed something strange. I lifted up the hood of my car and noticed that not only was there oil leaking from under my car but that oil was basically flying around the entire time I was driving back home. They didn't even bother to check if the cap was tightened on, i could literally flick the cap off that's how much they didn't even TRY to screw the lid on. The cover wasn't even put back on at all as well and if you have a Volkswagen then you know what I'm talking about. I am extremely disappointed, I have to bring my car to the shop to get checked up on over something that could've EASILY been avoided had they actually CHECKED. Please avoid this place if you own a Volkswagen, they clearly don't know what they're doing and I had to sadly pay the 'small' price of almost $120 to find that out. read more

Negative Experience at take 5 Location for Routine Oil Change I recently took my 2018 Audi A4 Ultra Sedan to an auto location for an oil change. However, the experience turned out to be a nightmare. The store manager, who had small dreads, completed the oil change and said my car was good to go. But as soon as my husband started driving, the car wouldn't switch gears. The manager then informed us that the transmission sensor had gone off and needed to be replaced. He went to the nearest auto zone to find the part, but didn't have the right tool to change it. As the evening approached, I became more irritated and asked the manager how much longer it would take. He replied that he was waiting for the transmission fluid to drain out, which was surprising since I was only there for an oil change. It was pushing 6 pm and we had no choice but to leave the car there overnight. The next day, a hire up manager said he would tow my car to Audi of Marietta and asked us to wait for his call. But after waiting for hours, he didn't respond to our messages. We missed a day of work and finally had to call our warranty company to tow the car. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer care at this location. They were negligent and inconsiderate, and I'm left without a car for a minimum of 2 weeks since it'll be a week before my car can get that diagnostic done and they have no loaner cars available. I am filing a dispute now about my oil leaking a week after the change. No response, no offer to rectify anything , just took my money and have me chasing them for almost a month now. My neighbor told me her car leaked oil after visiting here. That's insane this location is now being recognized for faulty oil changes. To change my oil my car was rocking back and forth aggressively and then someone started banging on something under there. Ive never had my oil change that way before and of course a leak would arise after. Because there was an no business for that oil change to be so rough. The car is not old and very clean on the bottom and under the hood until now a leak is happening and soot is developing. I should have trusted my gut and went to another one. I went here for a quick oil change. As I pulled up, the worker shook his head like he was mad that he had customers (mind you there was a line of cars waiting). I watched him continue to shake his head every time a car pulled up. The next morning, my car is making an awful noise. ZEROOO STARS! "REGGIE" AKA REGINALD TOOK MY MONEY. He told me he cannot give me an oil change due to a coolant leak... ok cool. He then proceeds to say " I can fix your pump so we can do your oil change $50 " he didn't do the job correctly my hose came off leaving my coolant to completely exit my car, he also cut wires in my car and took my "radiator overflow cap" leaving my car to smoke and burn coolant. I expressed my concerns, and he was immediately rude and sassy with me. He gave me a run around about getting me a new cap it went on 3 days with no cap so I kindly requested the money for just A NEW CAP because I was going to just get it myself since it was such a hard task for this young man! The facility stated that he was not allowed to do the work in the shop on the clock, so they didn't get in trouble but guess what my car was in that shop. Overall, my car was left messed up he didn't want to refund me so here is a cutesy review for him and the shop. also, I'll be adding pics and videos. read more

This has to be one of the most unprofessional "businesses" I have ever been to. After spending over an hour in the line in the heat i finally reach the point where it's my turn. th pop my hood and after about 2 minutes they tell me they don't have the equipment for my oil change (idk exactly what they were missing) after me telling them they should find it because I've waited so long miraculously they have what they need. After that I'm sitting for what i thought was an oil change to then hear one employee tell another they don't have filters that fit my car & another employee responded "well I'm not going to autozone" finally after a lot of back and forth between them one of them agrees to go to autozone for the filter, I then sat there for 30 minutes without any updates or information (I only knew about the filter because I over heard their conversation) all the while throughout my entire visit the employees were doing more socializing than working and made continuous inappropriate jokes as if I or other customers were not here !! I am both offended and disrespect by the way I was handled and how unprofessional the staff was !! And after expressing my concerns and them being under my hood for an hour the employee had the nerve to tell me it's trial and error .. is that what you would want to hear from a service provider??? Robert (the manager) had it under control the minute I drove up. I've lived here in Georgia for 2 years and have never had service on anything so efficient. There was not one person standing around everyone had a job and was getting that job done. Everyone acted like they liked their job with Professionalism and great customer service. I would like to pat each and everyone of them on the back for great service. It was hot and an uncomfortable day and no one was complaining or unprofessional. I got my oil changed here it was about the average price of any full synthetic oil change, the customer service wasn't great (they weren't super polite but not rude) but I'm most upset they stained my seats from whatever was on their uniforms when driving my car back around. read more
