What wonderful service I received at this establishment. I was the only customer when I arrived on Sunday afternoon and the mechanics instantly worked on my car. Since I was a new customer, they had to input my information in the system which took only a matter of minutes. I was in and out in 15 minutes. They did apologize since they couldn't get to cleaning out my air filter (stupid German cars and their complex engineering). I opted for the full synthetic high mileage which was around $87. I don't live in the area but I would come back here if I needed to get another oil change in the future. read more

I've been going to Take 5 ever since I discovered it in college! I wish there was one closer to me, but thankfully I was near one on a Monday. I came in a little past 10:30. I was offered a bottle of water, and they immediately got to work on changing my oil. The service was really quick and smooth from start to finish, and the staff were friendly and professional. This was my first time coming to this location, but I was honestly not surprised that it was quick and efficient as all the others I've been to. Definitely 10/10 if you've never been to take 5. So I took my truck in for an oil change in middle November. It is a fleet account. The total oil change was nearly 50 minutes. Much shorter than a dealership but not 10 minutes. Also the team wasn't sure how to charge a fleet account. Someone had to come in on the day off and input into the system so I could leave. Huge wad of time! Since the oil change I have noticed small leaks of oil. My truck is new with less than 30K so it should not be mechanical. I took it in last week and the same crew looked at the truck. At first I was told they used the wrong drain plug. When I asked them why would you use a different plug and just not replace the gasket, they answered it was a bad gasket. Pictured attached of new versus "wrong" plug which are the same. At first I was told I needed to return when a manager was available to explain everything to me. When I asked if the owner was available to speak with me over the phone then everything started working to get corrected. I got a new oil change which had to happen to correct the issue. I am all about people changing oil as it is simple to do but properly trained individuals will ensure a quality job instead of a mess like this. I can't return nor will my fleet company let me to this location. Also I chose this location since the location in Acworth tried to explain to me the better the oil the more frequently I need to change it regardless of the owners manual. So semi-synthetic needs to be changed in less miles than conventional? Acworth answer "yes". I am starting to wonder if the business is training their people correctly. read more

GM is disrespectful and two face. GM will talk bad about Employee in front of customers in a bad way. Other employees i have seen are good but the GM is really bad on only had 2 people working from open to close. People have waited a hour for a oil change. Second time I've used this location. They are super fast and super friendly. Not sure on the gentleman who helped me last time, but this time, Roman, helped me get everything in order. Did exactly everything I asked. Checked my cabin air filter for me...and got me in and out in a super fast fashion! Everyone was working in a team fashion which I really appreciate. Yesterday I went to take 5 and the rude woman there barely acted like she knew what she was doing referring back to her coworkers multiple times before finishing a simple oil change. When they came to me they couldn't even explain what oil type they used after repeatedly asking but instead stating oh premium price is this much advanced is this much for 5 quarts so we have to charge double 140+. 5w-30 oil change should not cost 140 dollars not even for 10 quarts. You tried it though. Go to your local dealer and save 60-70 dollars. This place is not even faster than going there because they don't even seem like they know what they're doing. read more

Been coming to this place since we moved to Marietta and have had no issues until recently. My last visit they told me they couldn't change my oil because my oil plug was stripped. I have only been here since I bought the car so no one else has touched it. Manager said he would buy one and told him I would be there early before work 2 days later. Showed up at the agreed time and he told me auto zone didn't have one. Said he had a machine that would suck the oil out and wouldn't take long so I agreed. 2 hours later it was done. He comped the oil change so I was ok with it but I still have a stripped oil plug. My wife went there this week and after it was done they actually asked her for a tip. Chase, the assistant manager was the only person on site when I pulled in. No other vehicles. His service was exemplary. He presented options without aggressive up selling. He made recommendations based on what was best for my car and budget. He considerately sought consent before opening my car door or reaching in to reset the dashboard service indicator. As someone who works with victims of trauma, I was incredibly impressed with his courtesy, demeanor and consideration with his interactions with me anytime he had to approach me physically. It says they close at seven and I pulled in at 6:25 there was a car being serviced and one more car in front of me. I was approached and told that if they couldn't get me at 6:45 they would deny me service, but "he would get me in the second bay in a second". They then approached the car behind me and turned him down outright 30 minutes before closing . so i waited because he mentioned opening a second bay for me but instead after waiting 15 minutes they turned me down at 6:40. Every job I've ever worked at, and every business I've ever been to stops taking customers at the listed closing time then finishes servicing all the customers they had accumulated before closing time, and then they clean up and go home, but these guys turn down one customer 30 minutes before closing and one customer 20 minutes before closing after they had already waited 15 minutes, so they can clean up and go home early. don't say you close at seven If you have no intentions of actually serving customers until seven read more

I don't usually post about businesses, but I feel that I really need to after an experience I had this morning. I received an oil change alert on my truck, so I took it over to the Take 5 at 5 Whitlock Pl SW, Marietta, GA 30064. I had been to a different Take 5 location multiple times and had a good experience, and decided to give this one a try, as it is significantly closer to my home. The staff was preparing to start the oil change, when one of them did a double take at my reminder sticker and the oil the computer indicated that I have gotten previously. He took a look at my level, and saw that it was not only full, but that the oil was in like-new condition with an estimated 3,000 miles still left on it. I haven't been driving as much as I used to due to working from home most days. They topped off my windshield wiper fluid and printed me an updated reminder sticker, and I left without paying anything! I am still shocked at their honesty and professionalism, especially for someone in the automotive service business! I will certainly be going back here when I reach the milage indicated on the updated reminder sticker (which I know that some people say is better than the vehicle's computer anyway, lol), and plan to make this my new go-to oil change location! They get 5 out of 5 stars and I didn't even get an oil change from them yet! read more

Highly recommend! I was in/out in 15 min and never got out of my car. And they give you a bottle of water while you wait. Unfortunately, after I left a screw came loose and the metal plate cover on my under carriage fell down and was dragging the road and I was afraid to drive it back to them. I was so surprised when the employee told me he was getting off work and would come to me (25 minutes away) and fix it...and he did. Things happen, which is ok, as long as you do the right thing to correct it. Couldn't be happier. I'll definitely go back! read more
