Tig, showed us the problem by personally rolling over one of our tires and explaining the balance issue with the weights and was able to calibrate it perfectly. The inspector didn't show up and the District Manager couldn't make it in to replace her. Same thing happened last year. I asked to speak to the owner. Said they would give him my number but couldn't give me his number. I had been told at 8:03 AM that the inspector "was on her way"! What a joke of a business so crucial to car owners. One year I got an inspection there. The inspector brought me an estimate that said it would take $382 to get my car to pass inspection. After he showed it to me, he said, "You want me to go ahead and fix everything"? I told him to just put a Did Not Pass sticker on it. He did and I left. Went to another inspection station and car passed.

The guys at our DT make it seem much less difficult and do not pressure you. They gladly helped me this time with a warranty replacement on my stock tires which required them calling the manufacturer. They did this without complaining and advocated for me. Their prices are very competitive compared to other online stores. I would suggest making an appointment online and this will make your time spent most efficient. You can even purchase your tires online and schedule at time for them to be installed if you know what tire you want for your vehicle. I will add that while out of town recently, we had a tire pressure warning light come on and we stopped in a DT in Myrtle Beach area. This location was equally helpful and kind. Discount Tire knows how to find the right employees and train them well both in product knowledge and customer service! I call them the Chick-Fil-A of the tire world!

I got a statement on 7/27/2026 stating I had a $30 balance on the account because of interest charged. When I inquired with the credit card company, I was told it was on "promotional balances" and that the tires I bought must not be considered a promotional balance. What a scam! I paid the $30 and closed my account. I will never deal with Discount Tire again because of this. That's just shady. It's really a shame because I like the tires and the service was good, but I won't get fooled again.

I read up and it says it possibly low transmission fluid. I check the dip stick and it doesn't even show up on the dip stick. I have to add 3 quarts of transmission fluid. A few days later, my AC does not work. I take it to another shop and they tell me carrier bearing housing is missing. Likely from when they replaced the transmission, they didn't put this back on. I would highly suggest not using this place.

We brought our car in for a brake issue. While working on the brakes, they told us it needed a steering repair and new tires. We picked up the car and scheduled a time for the steering repair. The repair was supposed to take a coupls of days, they had the car for several weeks. I left a message for them to quote me tires while they had it, so we could possibly get they done while it was there. There seems to have been a change in front desk staff, the previous guy was also super friendly and helpful. The new person acts like he's miserable every time you call. He stated he didn't get my message but could work up a quote for tires. I didn't get the quote until I called to pay for the steering repair. We found cheaper tires somewhere else, had them delivered to the shop and scheduled a third visit in a month. The front desk person told us to bring it back the following Monday at 11 and they would put the tires on. While I was on the pone with him I told him the brake light has been on ever since they fixed the brakes, the power washing fluid container has also been leaking since they repared the steering. My husband took it in at 11, as requested and was told they thought we were going to drop it off. The front desk guy went to the back and talk to the garage staff, my husband could hear him cursing and complaining about us bringing the car in and not dropping it off. Then, my husband mentioned the brake light and he said we'd have to make another appointment. Our car has been in the garage for nearly a month and still is not completely fix. Every time we call to ask a questions, the guy at the front desk has an attitude of he doesn't want to speack to anyone, and our questions are not answered. I have never experienced this at this garage, but it is enough that we are considering a new gagrage.
