Never actually Takes 5 - should be this locations name. Other locations, like Converse off of FM 78 near 1604 is killing it. Just wanted some air in my tires. Employee saw me waiting and didn't come up to me car. Continued waiting and a large truck pulls up on the side of me and I watched the employee serve them and move cones out the way for them to get in line. Employee only came to my car because I starred him down. And even then when he got to my car he told me his OTHER employees would help me. The little short guy, maybe about 4'11 with a black hoodie. Take 5? More like Take 40. They asked me to switch bays, only to let someone who showed up 10 minutes later take my original spot. I spent 40 minutes trapped between two cars waiting to get in, only to leave the moment the car behind me moved. Would put 0 stars if I could. They moved me from bay 1 to bay 4 then told me to swap places with someone in bay 1. Achieving absolutely nothing but confusion and annoyance. I then got into the bay and sat for 30minutes waiting for someone to help me while the guys were joking and having a good time not focusing on speed as I know this business for. When they got to me they asked if I wanted my tires filled and I said yes. I said 40psi and watched them confirm it. The guy only filled 1 tire, overfilled it by 5psi and left the others untouched. This place sucks. This is the 2nd or 3rd time we've taken our car to this place and the last time my wife brought our suburban here she waited so long that she ended up leaving and came back when there was no line. Even when there's no line, be ready to wait 45 min to an hour for them to even start your oil change. This time there were cars in all 4 bays, but no line other than that. And I waited 45 minutes before they started my oil change. I reminded them about my military discount when I first got there and Andrew replied, no problem I got you. After they charged my debit card I realized there was no discount applied. I asked him about it, he went and talked to his manager and said they would just give me double discount the next time, but gave no promise in writing or otherwise that this would be the case when I came back months later. I drove home, thenwent back and demanded that they void the transaction and charge it again with the 25% off. They refused and said the only thing they could do was give me the double discount the next time. So F me, right??? I left vowing to never come back, but when I got home decided I should take my truck there for an oil to change to take them up on their promised double discount since coming back the same day with a different vehicle would be the only way to take them up on their promised double discount to make up for forgetting it on my other vehicle. When I got there with my truck the same guy, Andrew, that helped me initially came up to my truck and said he didn't remember me showing him my military ID about the discount, saying they would need to check their cameras. I know, right?? I got there at about 6:20pm and they didn't pull me into the garage until 7:00pm and they didn't start the oil change until about 7:15pm, finishing up at about 7:30pm. They did give me the 50% off and they didn't give me attitude when I complained, but this take 5 is just absolutely ridiculous. The whole point of a drive through oil change is that you're in and out of there in like 15 min tops, not waiting in your car for a friggin hour and a half. Take 5 is not a bad company, this location just sucks balls. Will not be back, which is unfortunate because it's right down the street from my house, less than a mile away. Oh well, there's like 3 or 4 more locations that are within 10 miles of my house that I hear much better things about so will try those next time. Stay away from the rigsby road location though, holy crap. read more

Waited more than an hour and still didn't get our oil changed. three or four staff members were just standing around, shooting the breeze. We felt as if they were prejudiced against us. they had us pull into the bay and never opened the hood. definitely need to check out who is managing this place? read more

I went here today for an oil change. A young man came out with a bottle of water and seemed friendly. There was a truck ahead of me in the bay and all the other bays were full. I waited 15 minutes and watched two other vehicles that came in after me, go into the bays. I feel the guy should have had me move to a different bay when it was empty, instead of taking others first. When the truck ahead of me finally left I was brought into the bay. I sat there and waited for an hour, watching the guys and one woman, walking around, laughing, chatting, and NOT working on any vehicle, totally ignoring me. When the woman finally came to my car, she was not friendly. Then after the oil change was done, I paid cash (after discussing with her that she quoted me a higher price than she had first given me). They did not check my wiper blades nor clean my windshield. Management needs to teach employees how to communicate with long-waiting customers in a friendly manner, and direct cars into the bays on a first come-first served basis. I doubt I'll return to this location, and I absolutely will not recommend them to anyone. The Name, "Take 5" is a joke. The oil change itself doesn't take long but when I have to wait one HOUR, just to get to the point where it gets changed, I find that unacceptable! read more

I came for a vehicle inspection and I waited for one hr before anybody came and asked me if I needed help. I failed the inspection for a windshield wiper. The gentleman told me to go get it replaced and I could come back. And he would pass me, I come back and show them that I fixed it. Had him the receipt, and that I replace it. Went, twice, yesterday for a vehicle inspection. Both times the line wasn't moving. Waited 15 minutes each time before deciding to do other errands. Second time, there was ONE car inside the bay. Guy came out to me to tell me I was next (um, thanks) and proceeded to apparently do nothing for another 15 min. They weren't inspecting the car and just seemed to be shooting the breeze. read more

Anfernee was our service rep. I got here at 9:30 am and was immediately greeted by a representative with a bottle water. There were 2 service vehicles that were also at this location. Great service from the start. This is a full service oil change place so you do not have to get out of your car. Nice employees working who are courteous and experienced. They will answer any question, no hesitation. I was asked to pop hood and if they could check tire pressure. My oil change took roughly 30 minutes and the place had finished the other two vehicles about 20 minutes before my vehicle and there were 5 new vehicles in place by the time I left. I paid inside my vehicle as well. My full synthetic oil change was about $60. I have a Toyota 4Runner. Check for coupons online before visiting - I used a $15 off. read more

Usually an hour wait for services. I promised myself I would never go there for another oil change after I went to Walmart and payed half the price with half the wait. Made the mistake of going there for an inspection. After the hour wait I was told he wouldn't pass my car unless I bought new windshield wipers even though mine weren't that old and were perfectly fine. Exceptional service. Did services with this location once before while under the Express Lube name, wasn't bad, but didnt have me come back. Normally id go to walmart because the prices, but the waiting times were always outrageous & service members normally couldnt give a care. so today, after being told the wait time @ walmart (hella cars in line to begin with), i drove down the street to Take 5 & noticed no vehicles in lines, had the thought they werent even open for business yet! however, a team member jumped out w good energy, direct prices, & confidence in their service. full service & inspection knocked out, all while i stayed put in my car! (new to me) had a nice cool fan & water while you get services. swift execution in less than 30 minutes id have to guess. did NOT feel long. also, while i was the first one, people followed after me, & before i knew, all lanes were full & the whole team was in action & i saw them all w pride in their work. very pleasing to see, & will have me coming back for the next oil changes & inspections ahead! read more

You guys put my engine filter cover backwards. It wasn't discovered until I took my car to a better place to get my oil changed.

The staff members here are professional, knowledgeable and conduct themselves to go above and beyond with customer service! You can tell they value customers! I'd like to personally give an excellent recognition to both Antonio and Max for conducting an outstanding vehicle service! I received my first Texas inspection, received information on registering my vehicle in Texas and they even informed me about a small issue with my vehicle that could possibly even have been a worsening situation! The worst! I can't believe two days in a row NO service for inspection. Who gets scheduled to get off at 3 or 4pm on a Friday on payday for most people. It was only five o'clock and the manager was the only person allowed to do the inspection for this service. So I let it be. Arrived Saturday morning, because I was told he would be there all day from 7am- 7pm well guess what he didn't show. It was 9:15am and the same person was there to greet me and asked how much time I had. I said none. And his face said it all. The main manager lied to him and wasn't going to be there I'm until 11am.
