I ended up paying around $5,000 for those repairs. Two weeks after picking up my car, it was still leaking oil. I returned it, expecting the issue to be covered under warranty, but was then told the new problem was not included and would cost an additional $2,000. At that point, after already spending a significant amount of money and time without resolving the original issue, I was told the vehicle needed an entirely new engine. I ultimately had no choice but to leave the car there. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. What started as a straightforward repair turned into a costly and unresolved situation, with shifting diagnoses and little accountability. First time not taking my vehicle to the dealership and I had a horrible experience. They broke my…read morecoolant cap and did not want to replace it (it was not broken prior to this) and they did not know how to reset my oil change light even though they are known for providing oil change services. Then they put too much oil and had to drain the oil and redo it again to be at the proper level. Now I have to pay $60 for a new coolant cap plus installation because they did not have the part and did not want to replace it even though they broke it. I'm generally not one to write unpositive reviews but this was not at all a positive experience. On top of this they had the audacity to still top off the coolant through the broken cap so they can still charge for that top off service. Ridiculous. I need Jiffy Lube to make this right.
