I had a decent time at take 5. It's nice that it's a drive through oil change, but it can be so slow and high rates. I waited 25 minutes before I even got helped. They knew I was in a hurry so that was nice they didn't try to sell me extra stuff, but even with my $25 off coupon it was like $85 for an oil change. read more

It was a tough day for the workers at Take 5. The location that I usually go to for an oil change was closed and the one I was directed to was down 3 employees. Despite that, Kelvin was very kind and composed when he approached those of us in line. They did not top off fluids like I asked them to especially radiator fluid. Only when the oil change was finished. They told me I cannot use my coupon and that five minute oil changes shut all the coupons off in Wisconsin. That should've been discussed before I decided to have my oil change there on top of that rude associates. read more

I had a great experience at take 5, and I can't really say I ever had a positive enough experience at an oil change to write a review up until now. I was greeted right away after pulling up with a water and someone guiding me to the bay. It was a hotter summer day, but they had a cool fan blowing so it was comfortable. They check your tire pressure and adjust as needed complimentary. They offer complimentary oil top offs in between oil changes, along with a free car wash down the street if you show them your receipt. The people working were friendly, threw on some coupons which ended up saving me $30. They ask which type of oil you would like, and do many other checks on your car like windshield fluid, coolant, air filters, wipers etc. read more

I'll start with the positives: the guys were friendly and I was given a $25 off coupon. The negatives: I ask "Is that $99.99 price for Mobil 1?" The answer: "I'm pretty sure it is." Well, it's not. That's for some oil called "DuraMax." I'm not paying $100 for some oil I've never heard of before. Even one of the attendants was like "yeah, all I'll use is Mobil 1." So after the $25 coupon, less than 5 quarts of Mobil 1 motor oil (they didn't even offer to let me keep what was left in the last bottle), an oil drain plug gasket, and an oil filter still ended up costing $100+. Excellent service! They got my car in right away, brought me a bottle of water, and were very friendly. I loved the energy of the guy who greeted me, I believe his name was Tracy. He was professional, hospitable, and even wiped down my windshield afterwards. They also topped off my fluids and filled my tires up! This Take 5 location is getting 5 stars today. Why? Because they went above and beyond. I had been to another oil change place earlier in the day, but they told me they couldn't do the work because I had a canister type filter on my car. That sounded a little fishy, but anyway. I then went to the Take 5 and they discovered why the other place had sent me on my way: they had stripped the drain bolt. Take 5 got the stripped plug off, replaced it, changed my oil, and sent me on my way. Not only that, but they were super friendly. It was a fun atmosphere. They hooked us up with cold bottled water and even gave my kids some fruit snacks. A cool bunch of guys who did a great job. Recommended! read more

I finally got a yelp account just so I can make this review! Jason and the guys working there today saved me. My battery died right after they changed my oil. No fault of their's as I was still on my first battery since 2015. They were able to clear off the corrosion enough for my car to start and Jason guided me in the right direction to get a new battery since I'm not exactly familiar with this area or know of reliable mechanic. Other than just today, they are always quick, polite, and ready to crack a joke for fun, lighthearted environment. Thanks guys! read more

I should have looked at the reviews before making the mistake and going here. They would not accept the coupon from their website unless printed even though the coupon specifically stated no need to print. The first guy told me that it was because "they thought someone was just giving them away " the manager Joe was a little better but had an entirely different story as to why they could not take the coupon. read more

My husband stopped to get a basic oil change. Without mentioning it ahead of time, they went ahead and put a synthetic blend in and it ended up costing double. Regardless of what their computer says is recommended, prices should always be discussed ahead of time. Spending over $100 for an oil change is crazy and I would have done more research and gone elsewhere. read more

I went in for an oil change (3-25-18) and told them I had a different engine than the original one and only needed 5 qts of oil. The manager said there system called for 6 qts and put them in. He was VERY RUDE and would not listen to a word I said. I tried to tell him I have been here 4 times before and they always gave me the 5 qts I asked for. I told him to look it up in there system to see that's what they did before and he said NO. I had to pay for the extra qt of oil I didn't need . If you want to get cheated about your oil change then go here. Not only did they NOT change my oil but added 3.5 quarts on top of my existing oil in the engine. When i went back to try to get this resolved they refused to even check the oil and yelled profanities at myself. This was on a Saturday that I had it changed; then I went back on Monday to get this resolved after i noticed it. The manager demanded that I leave and he refused to do anything about it.... Website indicates they are open til 5. Pulled up to the overhead doors at 2:30 and... nothing. Exited my car went to the side door and pulled on it 3 times. I was about to walk away when some guy comes out of the office to ask me "what's your problem. why you pounding on the door". I never "pounded" on the door" No explanation, no signs saying they were closed. I just left. As I was leaving he yelled at me "we're closed." No need to spend my money at a place that treats potential customers so poorly. Went to the dealer down the street, where I wasn't treated like garbage. Will NEVER be back. read more

Went in for an oil change and Shawn hardly spoke to me. Mumbled and then got irritated when I asked him to repeat. He was drilling and drilling and sounded like grinding but I didn't say anything because I figured he knew what he was doing. Boy I was wrong. My heat shield was not put in correctly and 2 of the screws were stripped. I was driving home and the front end of the heat shield came out and I'm now missing half of the bbolts. nobody is answering the phone now. Customer representative was bitchy. Never ever again will I be going back. Now I'm out god knows how much to take my car on to get it replaced. read more

My girlfriend Took her car to get a oil change at Take 5 a few days ago. A couple of days later I noticed that there was a puddle of oil underneath the car.. propped the car up on jack stands and found that the oil drain bolt was literally finger loose!! A couple threads away from falling out. That's unacceptable that's the last thing a TRAINED mechanic should mess up like come on really now? I Do not recommend going there unless you wanna pay for your new oil to be on the ground. read more

They took care of me right away each time I have brought a vehicle. I've brought my truck here twice and my Jeep here twice now. Never had to wait long, the technicians are awesome, and the manager always comes out to speak with me. We have been getting top-notch service for our vehicles at the West Allis, WI Fast Track location and are very happy with this place. The people working there are so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional compared to other oil change establishments that we have tried in the past. They greet you with a smile, take care of your vehicle, and get you back on your way in minutes. Free top-offs between oil changes. Free tire pressure checks, and while you are there they will quickly clean your windshield for you (for us 'older' types, do you remember when full-service gas stations did that?). Those little extras go a long way. We will keep going back to this location as long as they keep delivering this kind of great service. I went in for emissions. The service tech never even acknowledged me. He was on his cell phone the entire time with his back to me. Then had problems getting my stickers renewed and instead of explaining what was going on, he just walked away to get the other tech. It was fast but DEF not friendly!! If using less than one star was an option, that's what I would do. Since it's convenient to home I've probably been to this shop a few dozen times over the years between my car and my wife's car. I will NOT be back. Stopped just about 10 minutes after they opened on a Sunday morning thinking I could get a quick oil change. They have three bays, of which the center is for emissions. Depending on their workload they sometimes use that bay for oil changes. Since all three bays were chained off (no other cars in line) I pulled up sort of in the middle and waited to be directed to one or the other. Finally the technician walked out toward me with a disgusted look on his face and muttering to himself, obviously aimed at me. His unhappiness stemmed from the fact that I didn't know which bay to pull up to and hadn't put my window down in a timely enough fashion to have him tell me. I realize it was Sunday morning and it was warm and humid outside, but my guess is he was looking for work when they hired him. As the customer I don't believe I should be berated just because the employee is unhappy about what he's doing. read more
