Came in on a Monday during soft opening and had a sit down lunch. Ordered carne asada tacos, side of fries, and a Cali burrito. Food came out hot and fresh. Everything was very good. My only regret is not getting side of consommé to dip birria filled Cali burrito in. This was during soft opening stages so a lot of grace is given regarding staffing and overall ease of ordering on kiosks. Solid food so I'll definitely be returning. read more

Wasn't too bad but it wasn't great. The staff was friendly but our order was missing a few items when it first came out. We got a variety of things, and the best was just the plantains. Good things: -Easy to order and change ingredients. -Inside was pretty nice. I am disgusted and dissapointed by this establishment's Birria Tacos. The taco itself lacked flavor 100%. The sauce ? -What sauce? The consistency and flavor imitated miso soup, as in the Birria sauce was watery and most definitely also lacked flavor. I'm confused? I've never had watery/liquid Birria Tacos before? If you have never eaten authentic Hispanic/latino food and love buying overpriced food, this is your place! We were excited until arriving...They have NO fountain drinks and don't list water so most end up buying the almost $3 bottle water. The Horchata was THICK like it was all condensed milk. The tacos were greasy and un flavorful. As a foodie it's disappointing. If you get anything here I would stick to the steak, the chicken was greasier than the birria. Weve been wanting to check this place out and we are VERY happy that we did! The service was outstanding, Jordan was helpful, bubbly and fast! On her recommendation we had the bang bang shrimp tacos and taco salad, she said we would not be dissappointed and she was right... the food came out quick, was hot and the price was right... we would have paid the same or more at any fastfood place for 10x the experience. After waiting 40 a worker gave us our drinks finally and said there's 4 more tickets infront of us. 8 tickets go out the door until finally our name is called. What a disappointment. Walked into the former Tijuana Flats and immediately there is no stepping up to order. Turn around and you will find a kiosk to place your order. Placing two entrees and two drinks we laid down $50. Then sit down and wait 15 minutes for meal which tasted mediocre. Hugely disappointing. We will not be back. read more

On Friday 5-9-25 I went to the Clearwater location with friends and ordered a burrito and Strawberry lemonade drink. I waited for over an hour for my order. WTF??? Our waitress kept saying it's coming and that she is sorry for the delay and that they were backed up. "Not my problem" I expect promp service. It was the first time going to this establishment and will be the last. They left a bad impression on me and my friends and we vowed to never give them our business again. Food was tasty. Guac was yummy. The birria tacos had a ton of cinnamon. Not my favorite. The carne asada tacos were very good, a little heavy on the onlon, but good. My husband ordered the Cali burrito, and said it was not like a traditional Cali burrito-this one had rice. It was tasty, just not what he expected. Heard great things about Talkin Tacos so decided to try it out today. Went around noon noting that it was not too busy which made the trip start out great. My Aunt ordered the Mahi tacos and had no problems. I ordered the taco trio and asked for 2 Hongos and 1 bean as these were the vegetarian/vegan options. I asked to add cheese. The meals are ordered at computers with the option to place tip which I added a 25% tip to compensate those that work hard for little money. The food came to $40 without drinks. The server brought out the food with the Mahi tacos fine but mine was delivered with 3 bean tacos and a comment of we were out of the hongos so they made you 3 bean tacos. I hope that's ok. Also no cheese was added. I said well if I knew that I would get 3 bean I would not have ordered it and I a missing the cheese. The server said oh well we only subtract things we don't add things. I said I can't add cheese to tacos and she said no. I asked her to go to the back and get me some cheese and I will add it myself. I ended up eating 1 bean taco and left the rest. This is unfortunate and when asked if the meal was ok I said no it wasn't. The server asked if we would like a free desert which we did not. I will not be going back for sure for a second try since on a Thursday at noon the kitchen was out of the only other option and instead of coming out to ask me you just made me what you wanted me to eat instead of asking would you like something different or offering a refund.
