This place was PERFECT. The kids fried rice was some of the best rice I have ever had. My 7 year old ate a plate of dumplings and wanted more. The shiitake mushroom broth in my Udon was so savory and had great flavor. Wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try everything.

This food was absolutely amazing. You definitely have to get the Wagyu udon noodles that was hand fountain some of the best udon noodles I have ever had. I know a lot of people wrote reviews about the service not being that good but whenever we went, the lady that we had was amazing and super attentive and very fast. Overall, it wasn't too crowded in there, which is crazy because of how good the food and the sushi was. It was a very chill atmosphere and the decor was nicely done. Everything looked very clean.

Open Table reservations were easy to make for this Clearwater Beach restaurant. We were seated ready gut away and our server took great care of our table. Sitting outside, we were entertained by the ruckus from Nanday Conure Parrots in a nearby tree and the delightful evening Florida air...! The Happy Hour Gyoza were offered cooked three ways: fried, steamed or (the correct way) pan-seared/steamed pot sticker style. We chose the latter and they were perfectly done! The Yakitori showed up next, and although all made with the same sauce, was still a nice appetizer. The rolls were delivered on the same plate with plenty of ginger and wasabi and were very enjoyable. After dinner we walked down the "main drag" of Clearwater Beach and did some fun window shopping and watched the sunset. Great local restaurant, recommended by a server from Watercolour Grillhouse in the Marriott when we learned their sushi chef was on vacation after being seated...! I'm actually very happy that happened!

This place is very good am the food amazing but the service is slow

I got one of the ramen dishes with shrimp and my boyfriend got the shrimp fried rice and we both LOVED our meals! Absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the ramen. It was the best I've ever had anywhere.

Your typical average sushi spot. The udon noodles with pork belly though or six star. The fried rice was meh solid three star stars. The dumplings were excellent. The sushi and sushi rolls were good and fresh but nothing five star. The ambience of the restaurant was just above divvy. With all that also being said, I think it was pricey for what it was $50 a person without alcohol. We come from a heavily Asian area in New York, so I will admit we have high standards. Service was quick and good. Finally, there was not a full bar menu just beer, Wine and saki.

Staying at the hotel near by and saw this place on the way and decided fo stop in for dinner. We just missed happy hour which was 12pm-6pm and it looked like a good deal too. Instead of sushi i'd decided to try something new and ordered the poke bowl and omg it was so good. The service was quick and sweet too. The inside was sort of small but it was comfortable seating and a chill spot to talk and hangout, they had tvs and a sushi bar.

Good food with a nice outdoor seating. It was understaffed so the food took a long time to come. Almost 30 mins wait to get even the appetizers. Fried rice, spicy tofu bao bun, sizzling edamame and $45 sushi boat. Everything was delish!

Sekushi was very disappointing tonight my son in law and I got our sushi and it took an hour longer to get my daughter's noodles. The waitress kept apologizing but it was unbelievable and when they finally came they were cold. We went to the French'Y's around the corner.

I was walking around in Clearwater trying to find a spot to get dinner at and it was really packed everywhere. Stumbled upon this sushi spot and I honestly should have just waited for a table at the other spots. Walking in, asked for a table for 3 and it took a while to be seated when there's open tables available...but they all had dirty dishes on them. Nobody cleaned the tables until maybe 10-15 mins later. No idea why it took that long. We were about to just walk out. Ordered chicken teriyaki for dinner. Rice was really hard and the chicken was rubbery. It was awful. Service was terrible. We only ordered two dishes. Chicken terayaki came out pretty quick but the sushi took a while. Ambiance was nice. Just tables weren't getting cleaned when customers are done eating and had left. I wouldn't come back again.

We started with the pork pan-fried dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. Then we enjoyed some edamame beans and a California roll. The food here was excellent. We'll definitely be back when we have more time. Our waitress was very nice attentive and gave us some great suggestions. The atmosphere was comforting and not busy so they had our full attention. Love to explore more items and bring more people to this place.

The place is nice and in a great spot, but thats about it. If you have ever watched kitchen nightmares, then you know the 3 tell tale signs of a restaurant in trouble are food taking way too long to come out,not bringing dishes out at the same time so people can eat together, and then having food sent back! well, I'm disappointed to report that we had the trifecta on that! It easily took 40 minutes to get two sushi rolls and one chicken teriyaki dish. Amazingly the chicken teriyaki dish came out before the sushi did , which is surprising to me because you actually have to cook that and not only did they cook it, but they burnt it into a crisp which must've taken at least an extra minute or two. When we finally did receive all of the dishes and started eating the food and I realized how subpar it was, I probably for the first time in my life took the opportunity to actually send food back and request something else. It was that bad! it tasted like a burnt piece of rubber dipped in teriyaki sauce. I will give credit where credits due they plated it nice except that they cut the pieces up a little bit small so with the teriyaki sauce, it kinda looked like gravy lovers brand cat food. sadly, that would probably taste better than this. I didn't eat the sushi, but I was told it was OK but nothing special. I was then substituted in with Ramen where again the pork belly was burnt on the outside which again contributed to a rubbery tire taste at which point I was barely interested in checking out the rest. I would also like to stress that I never once complained about the wait or anything, and obviously they were aware of it, and even though the restaurant was far from capacity, they would occasionally walk by and say I'm sure it'll be soon now, he's working very hard back there, etc. that's cool, but I don't exactly need to blow my blow nor was I asking for it. Bottom line is obviously I want to enjoy a meal but at the end of the day I've got other places to go and wasn't trying to invest my whole night, eating chicken teriyaki, and a couple pieces of sushi. Overall, it's a shame ,I live local and I always root for local businesses here. I would just have to chalk it up and say this place is not worth going to it all until they institute some serious quality control all the way around.. I absolutely do not recommend it.

I found the restaurant while I was still deciding on what hotel we were going to stay at and then just so happened to choose the Wyndham Grand (which was also amazing but that's a different story). I was very pleasantly surprised to see them hand us a discount card at check in which got us 10% off on our meal here - even better! I booked us an outdoor table at 5 pm hoping we'd have a perfect view of the sunset. And, well, the attached pictures speak for themselves! It was really gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was great. The meal started with some complimentary edamame which is always a plus. My girlfriend ordered the scallops which were so good, as well as an order of sashimi which is not my personal preference but she was visibly in heaven. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and two kamikaze rolls which were specifically recommended by our waiter (although to be honest I would've ordered it anyway - shrimp tempura and spicy lobster, it doesn't get better than that). No exaggeration, it was the best sushi roll I've ever had. If I go back, I'm just going to order three of them and call it a night. Long story short, I was optimistic about this place but didn't really know what to expect, and it managed to exceed all expectations. Very glad I chose this for our anniversary dinner, thanks for making it so special Ocean Hai!
