I was so thankful because then I had more help from my family to unpack. They wrapped everything well and nothing was broken, which wasnt the case with my movers I hired for my last move. I will say the crew (not Brandon) did start to get tired and off track toward the end but ​ended up completing about 30 minutes ahead schedule of my quoted price. I fear if we would have only had two movers we wouldn't have been able to get it done in 6 hours. (3 Br 2 Bath 1600 sq foot house) All to say, three movers was the right call for this size project. I do…read morewant to start by saying the team was very friendly and accommodating, especially when we ran into unexpected issues with our leasing office not giving us keys when previously agreed. They were patient and worked with us through that situation, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Despite being told multiple times that the truck was "fully loaded," we returned to find several large items still left behind in our garage (see photo). These weren't small or easily manageable things -- they were exactly the type of items you hire movers to handle. At no point was it communicated that anything was being left. That's the biggest issue. If something doesn't fit or can't be taken, that needs to be clearly stated in the moment -- not discovered after the fact when we have already paid ($1100+) no longer have a way to transport it ourselves. What made the situation even more concerning was the complete lack of communication during the move. At one point, we lost track of them entirely (no response for nearly an hour)... as a result my partner ended up having to drive (12 minutes) back to the old apartment to find the truck leaving, then had to follow it for an extended period of time due to genuine concern about where our belongings were going. There were multiple wrong turns, and later the explanation given was that one phone had died and the other was in the back of the truck and couldn't be accessed. All of this happened while they had our garage door opener and full access to our home, which only added to the stress and concern. No customer should be put in a position where they feel they need to monitor movers to ensure their belongings are safe. We understand that moving days can be hectic and things don't always go perfectly, but clear communication and follow-through are the bare minimum -- and both were lacking here. While we appreciate their friendliness and flexibility, the job was not completed as expected, and the lack of transparency left a bad impression. If you use this company, I would strongly recommend confirming in person that everything is actually loaded before they leave. We won't be using them again.

    I hired Evolution Moving for a whole-house move on May 21…read more Before the move, I explained the contents of the house during the estimate process so they could estimate the scope. On moving day, I emailed additional instructions because I would be unavailable by phone. I provided my partner's contact information and specifically requested that all garage items be packed and moved. Daniel Rios confirmed that everything was received and that the movers would contact my partner before leaving the house. Around 11 a.m., my move-out cleaning crew informed me that a substantial amount of property was still in the house. My partner had not received the load-up call, and I had not received any updates from Evolution. After I contacted the company, I was told only a few open boxes had been left behind. When my partner arrived at the new apartment later that afternoon, the garage contents were missing and fewer items had been delivered than expected. The crew stated they had not been instructed to move anything else. When I contacted Evolution again, I was told there had been a misunderstanding. I was then offered a separate two-person crew to complete the move, but only as a new move with additional charges. When I arrived at the apartment that evening, I discovered that the dining room, kitchen boxes, and entire garage had never been moved. My friends and I ended up completing the move ourselves. It took three days and six truckloads. Afterward, I found that beds had been placed in the wrong rooms and not assembled, furniture had been left partially disassembled, room-labeled boxes had been piled in the kitchen, furniture had been scratched, and the hardware for my son's bed was missing. Justin Rodriguez later located the missing screws in the back of the truck, though some were badly bent. I emailed Daniel seeking a response and he replied with a completely ai-generated email blaming me for the misunderstanding. To Justin's credit, he came to my apartment on his day off to help move furniture into the correct rooms and assemble it. Throughout this entire process, he was the only person who consistently communicated with me and attempted to help resolve the situation. What ultimately disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I repeatedly had to initiate communication myself, and after the move I called the owner every day for a week and left a voicemail seeking a resolution. My calls were never returned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evolution Moving.
