Dr. Tam and his staff rock! I always feel so awesome and ready to tackle my day after a deep tissue massage and an excellent realignment.

As a massage therapist myself of 20 years I expect the therapist to know muscle anatomy and…read morealignment with the client's needs. Highlights vs. concerns First impression:** May was waiting on arrival; session lasted 90 minutes. Technique issues:** The first 45 minutes involved using her feet to rub over the sheets, which was VERY painful and not therapeutically effective. I kept telling her ouch... it hurts. Missed targets:** I explicitly asked to focus on my neck and shoulders, but the massage emphasized arms and legs. Even after flipping, the upper back/shoulders/traps did not receive the requested attention with only 10 minutes left. And then she proceeded to go back onto my legs, and I had to tell her no. She then went to my shoulders for two minutes or less, and then proceeded to rub my rhomboids. I told her my shoulders and traps hurt not my rhomboids. I don't think she understood. Like I said it's a language barrier... and if I'm pain, I feel it's not my responsibility to educate. Communication:** There may have been a language barrier contributing to misalignment with my goals. Bottom line This session did not meet my expectations for anatomy-informed, goal-directed work. A different therapist at the same clinic or clearer pre-session communication might yield better results. The massage was probably one of the worst massages I've ever had.. And I definitely will not be back to try anybody else. When looking into another room, all the rooms seem to have bars on the ceiling and look like they may all have the same technique... not a fan!

I've been coming here to get massages from Lucky since 2017, so I think it's about time I write a…read morereview! First off, Lucky is wonderful. I have back and neck problems and have gotten at least one massage a month for the last 10+ years. For the last several years, Lucky is the only therapist I've gone to. She's consistent, understands anatomy and musculature, and she tailors the massage to your needs. I prefer medium-pressure Swedish style, but shes versatile and she'll supplement with some stretching or even walking on your back if you request it, and I've enjoyed the therapeutic value of both of those things on occasion. She's a very capable massage therapist, and for me, her massages are the perfect blend of bodywork and relaxation. The facilities are clean, and the front desk staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I've been to this spot since it was called The Massage Place, then The Massage Hub, and now Massage One Wellness. I purchase massage packages to take advantage of the package discount, and I've never had any issues with them honoring my package when they've changed the store name. I see some reviews where gift cards weren't honored; maybe it's a physical gift card instead of the packages purchased at the front desk? I always pre-buy the package when I'm checking out, and the package is then digitally associated with my account. If you're looking for a quality massage for a fair price, try Lucky at Massage One!

My first massage here. Came in last night as I had been super ill with Ozempic poisoning and had…read morebeen in bed for almost 3 days when I wasn't being actively ill. Every part of me was achy and sore. Laughing hurt. I was feeling well enough to finally go outside and called Massage Villa. They were super nice over the phone and said they could take me right away, but only for a half hour as they were closing. The half hour felt longer as my masseuse, Nina, was able to do a lot in that short time. She could intuitively feel where things hurt on me and gently worked out the muscles without hurting me. My back even cracked - without her doing anything to crack it- as my muscles relaxed and it fell back into place. It was kind of a miracle, because within 30 mins I walked out with no pain. I for sure would come here again and do a longer massage. The establishment was fairly barebones, but nice enough and the massage was better than any I have had in a long time. Plus it's super convenient.

I love this place. I saw Nina and she's always stellar! But my fiance was seen by a different…read moremassage therapist tonight and she wasn't very good. He said he felt like she was just poking him and not doing much. When we paid, he decided to give his massage therapist $5 less than we normally tip. He was extremely disappointed with the service. But when his massage therapist saw how much I gave Nina, she called us back (we were already on our way to the door) and said "it doesn't match!" and waved her tip next to Nina's tip. She seemed pissed. So he turned around, got out his wallet and gave her an extra $5. We left and he said "I'm never coming back here again".

5 stars I came here…read morebecause of Classpass and Sarah was my massage therapist for the day. I got the Swedish Massage and told her of some neck/upper back pain and asked her not to press too hard on the upper back. She was incredibly kind and patient and took her time with the massage. I was so relaxed after the session. I would recommend Sarah to anyone. This little shop is located in Solas Salon and there is free parking in the Macy's side of parking space. They say don't park on the Erewhon side. Will definitely be back soon!

I've tried nearly everything--physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and massage therapy. When I found Vivienne, I expected to schedule a lymphatic drainage massage. However, from the moment she began working, it was clear she understood what my body truly needed. She immediately recognized the deeper issues and customized a full-body treatment that addressed areas of long-standing tension and imbalance. Vivienne is not just skilled--she is warm, genuine, intuitive, and thorough. She truly cares about her clients' healing and well-being. She makes scheduling easy, sends appointment reminders, and her studio is conveniently located inside The Sola Salon- below TJ Maxx and Macy's. Parking is simple in that lot--just make sure not to park in the Erewhon spaces. If you've been searching for a massage therapist who goes beyond surface-level relaxation and focuses on true therapeutic work, I can't recommend her enough. After one session, I knew I'll definitely be seeing her again.
