Great place! Highly recommend! We've been here once before and a few years ago and this place does not disappoint. The old fashion is 10/10. The fries, tacos, fish and chips are delicious!! The service is great and the atmosphere is 100!!

We stopped by this place on our way back from Muir Woods. It's next to a Holiday Inn. The environment was very inviting. They have a big bar area with lots of TVs so people can watch sports. They also have a separate lounge section and a recreational section with billiard and other games. We ordered the potato pancakes to share. It was tasty with the chive dip but I felt it wasn't worth $13. For entree I had the porchetta cubana. The roll was nicely toasted, the fries were amazing! But the porchetta itself was a miss. I thought the pork gaminess was a bit strong. Maybe a bit more time spent marinating would help. The habanero hot sauce that it came with also didn't do much for me as it felt very mild and watered down. Overall I thought this place was solid. Prices were a bit high for what you get. Also avoid the porchetta.

Tam Tavern feels very similar to the old Floodwater--same general vibe, just with a slightly more casual staff and a new menu. The location is great, but the parking situation really should be better. Just know: it's not cozy or intimate. It still has that "sports bar from the past" energy, with pool, air hockey, tons of TVs, and a patio with a beer-garden feel. It also still has that hotel-restaurant atmosphere, but not quite in the appealing way you'd hope. The food was solid overall. The fried chicken was much spicier and saltier than expected, the Niçoise salad was pretty good, and the French dip was hearty. They do have a strong beer selection. Dessert, however, was disappointing--only three frozen options, none of which were worth it. The banana split was overly sweet with artificial-tasting red sauce, the "tiramisu" felt like a frozen cup, and the ice cream was just... ice cream. There's potential here, but a few upgrades--parking, atmosphere, and the dessert menu--would go a long way.

My partner has been wanted to try this place for a while and we both absolutely love East Brothers beer. We typically go to Richmond. We decided a Warriors and Lakers game would be the best time to try it out. It was busy and the Saturday before SuperBowl, so we knew it would be busy. We immediately walked up and sat at the bar with open seating. However, quickly realized we would rather enjoy a table. I walked back to the host and asked to be put on a list for a table (there were 3-4 open). I knew they accepted reservations and we may not be sat immediately. However, we were completely forgot about. No text, no call. By half time, the place was pretty open and we were disappointed we hadn't been contacted. I didn't feel it was my job to double check if we had been forgotten. By the time we left, we still didn't receive and recognition from the hostess (2 people working the stand). I know we were forgotten because I watched her write down my name and phone number on a paper, and as a customer, it sucked. We wanted a table to order dinner and have more room, but we just ate at the bar. I will be honest, I wanted to leave at half after this, but my partner was hungry, and that is the only reason we stayed. The beer is always good. The food is okay (too pricey) in our opinion. The French dip lacked flavor, but the fries were amazing. My partner said the burger was ok (also lacked seasoning). We will probably be back for happy hour, and for the atmosphere, but other than that we may have gone in with higher expectations.

Steady service, definitely there for efficiency vs super hospitable. Not in a bad way at all. The food was good - I loved the French dip, but my date thought the smash burger was lacking in flavor. The oatmeal stout might be one of the best stouts I've ever had. I would make the drive (over an hour) just to enjoy it again.

I was craving a beet salad on the way home from Stinson and Floodwater came up with strong reviews. We stopped by with our pup and sat on the outside patio with an umbrella. Started off with the blonde ale and the what a melon cocktail. Our server was a bit rude to start as my husband asked his opinion between two beers and the guy just said "they're two completely different things".... It made it so awkward! We ordered the sliders, garlic fries, and a pizza in addition to the salad. The sliders were the best thing we ordered. The pizza was fine, the beet salad was fine, the fries were nice and crunchy and the ketchup was good- but the sliders were the most tasty. Overall I think the servers weird attitude at the start kind of set things off downhill pretty early on. I enjoyed the dining atmosphere otherwise and the other staff members were friendly.

What a welcome addition to Mill Valley! Sports bar with plenty of big screen tvs- check! Lively beer garden with occasional live music - check! Delicious beer + cocktails - check check! Game room with pool table, shuffleboard, fussball - check check check! And most importantly, delicious food and a fun vibe. Highly recommend: -- The Schnitzel (who else in Marin does authentic German schnitzel, red cabbage and spaetzle?). -- The Double Smashburger -- the Pizzas (if you're a carnivore, definitely order the Molinari Meats!). -- the Beer Battered Fish & Chips -- Bavarian Pretzel with stout beer cheese and mustard -- Saigon wings While all of the above may sound like something you wouldn't want to share with your cardiologist, they have lighter options as well. Their salads are surprisingly fresh, delicious and satisfying (I'm partial to the grilled chimichurri steak). And I'm a fan of their hummus plate with Z'aatar flatbread, and their potato pancakes. While I miss Floodwater's ruben sandwich, Tam Tavern's French Dip is a worthy substitute. The staff is friendly and efficient; the pricing is reasonable; and it's both family-friendly + dog-friendly. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but aside from that... this place is a winner! Looking forward to exploring more of their menu + Game Day fun.

Great service, the venue looks great. And the food was delicious. We had the garlic fries and pineapple pizza. The bartender was very good and made a perfect margarita. 5/5

Our insights: -Good servings and easy access if you are staying in HIEx Mill Valley. We went an all day excursion to explore the city and once we got back to the hotel, we were starving. Since we were tired, this restaurant is definitely on the right spot.

We were married on the tidal beach down the stairs and had our reception at the Lyford House. We had our photographer take some photos of us on the neat trail up behind the house. We loved the fact that guests didn't have to drive anywhere between our ceremony and reception. We also really liked marrying and celebrating within a bird Sanctuary. The rays in the water just offshore seemed to flip their tails on cue during our ceremony too - cool! The Lyford House facilities were great (patio, kitchen, parking, dressing room, etc). Thankfully there was enough room inside for our ~55 guests because people went inside when they got cold from the afternoon foggy winds (do plan for this!). The employees at the Richardson Bay National Audubon Center and Sanctuary were terrific to work with and even accommodated our desire to use an organic/local caterer not on their list of caterers. The only downside is we thought the fees were a bit steep but we reasoned that at least it was going to the Audubon Center. Overall, a really peaceful place to have an event.

Recently, a close friend of mine was looking for a wedding venue, and I immediately recommended ERIA. They ended up having their ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, followed by their after party at ERIA's new Marina location. It was such a fun way to celebrate because after the reception we walked over to Bar Darling, and the catering came from Little Original Joe's. The whole evening really embraced the city, and it felt like guests got to experience San Francisco rather than just attend a wedding. The team also added so many thoughtful touches that made the night feel special. They had cookies from the upcoming La Boulange Bakery pop up as a late night treat, which everyone loved, and they even arranged for a photo booth that was a huge hit. My friends couldn't stop talking about how well everything came together, and I was secretly thrilled that my recommendation worked out so well. The next morning we headed to Sausalito for brunch at Cultivar, which was fantastic and somewhere I hadn't been before. From there we made our way to ERIA's waterfront venue, which is just as stunning as ever. They projected home videos onto a screen overlooking the water, everyone gathered with sparklers, and the whole evening felt incredibly intimate and memorable. It was such a beautiful contrast to the energy of the city the night before. One of the things I loved most about the weekend was getting to experience both locations. The Marina gave us the excitement and nightlife of San Francisco, while Sausalito offered the peaceful waterfront setting that made the celebration feel completely different. Having both experiences in one wedding weekend made it feel incredibly unique. I've been to ERIA many times now, and every event somehow feels different while maintaining the same high level of hospitality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a venue that can help create an unforgettable wedding weekend rather than just a single event, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The panoramic views are stunning, and the location--right in the heart of Sausalito--is pretty much perfect. The dance floor was comfortable, the vibe was there, and it felt like it had all the makings of a great event. But here's the ik...... and it's the reason for the 2-star rating. The bathroom situation was beyond unacceptable. We're talking extremely small (only 2 stalls for the women), poorly equipped for the size of the crowd, and within 30 minutes of the event starting, the toilets were already breaking down. Not "a little slow"--completely failing. For an event with 60+ women (and drinks being served for FIVE hours), we were left with essentially ONE working toilet. Diabolical. Uncomfortable. Irritating. And it didn't get better--it got worse. Halfway through the event, the second toilet started to overflow. Yes, overflow. It was nasty, and there was no real resolution or sense of urgency from the venue to fix it. Just... left to deal with it. So while the space is undeniably pretty and well-situated, it is absolutely not equipped to handle a crowd of 125+ people. Not even close. A venue can look amazing, but if basic necessities like functioning restrooms aren't handled--and can't be remedied in real time--it completely takes away from the experience. Beautiful space, but not a place I'd trust for an event of that size again.

For my husband and I, the beauty and intimate feel of the venue far outweighed all the other inconveniences of the place (i.e. having to arrange a shuttle for guests due to limited parking and having to be out by 10pm). We had a small wedding (60 guests) and the size of the venue felt perfect for it. Our ceremony was outdoors in mid-July and the reception was indoors. We started early because we knew we'd have to end early. So we had the ceremony at 2:30pm and because we rented out the place the next morning for cleanup, we didn't leave until 9:55pm. I also appreciated the huge and gorgeous bridal suite upstairs. My mom, sister and I got ready there in the morning and the view was so relaxing. It also served a nice private room for my wedding guests who were nursing mothers. I worked closely with Susan Cullen who is the current event coordinator and she was fantastic. She responded very quickly to my emails and patiently answered a million of my questions. She also gave some very helpful suggestions about table arrangements and where to put the buffet, etc. It was a shame that Susan Cullen wasn't the event coordinator the day of. The woman who was the event coordinator (I can't remember her name) was very sour and totally unhelpful. She looked offended when I asked her to help me light some candles on the tables! She is basically the "fun police" - asking you to turn the music down, etc. But she will drink your alcohol and eat your food without doing anything for you in return. If you can ignore the nuisance of a totally useless "event coordinator" and ask someone else to deal with her, the site is totally worth it. My friends and family were also very in love with the place - we got so many compliments on it! My photographer also loved it. It looked great in photographs!

The club is a special place for our family; my grandmother is a member so I have fond memories of coming to the club for events. It's absolutely charming; Julia Morgan's simple, craftsman architecture, the beautiful gardens and views of the bay make this historical landmark a truly wonderful event space. I worked very closely with a club member on the planning, design and logistics. She offered so many great suggestions, including valuable input into the floor-plan to maximize flow and comfort, guidance on different types of floral and decor possibilities and the best location for the cake to insure it was a focal point, but out of reach to children. More importantly, she went out of her way to meet us at the club for several walk-throughs and even accommodated some early vendor deliveries. Truly couldn't have done this without her guidance and support...thank you again, Susan! We had a short ceremony outside in the garden with the reception indoors. Definitely recommend the club for weddings under 120 guests; we had 87 guests and still had enough room to dance and comfortably move around to access the bar, buffet and restrooms. Many of our guests commented on the loveliness of the space and the beautiful views. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and didn't seem to mind taking a shuttle to/from their cars (as the club doesn't have any parking).

The space was perfect for everything we needed, and although we had our ceremony down the road at Old Mill Park, it would have been a beautiful place to have that too. The space is so gorgeous it needs very little additional decoration, and everything you add is just magnified by the surroundings. As a historic building in a small town they have a number of rules and restrictions, and when we decided to book I did wonder if they might be difficult to plan around. But it wasn't hard at all, and everything from the decor to the music was exactly as I hoped and not held back at all. I would definitely strongly recommend booking vendors who are familiar with OAC though, because with them you never have to worry about a thing, knowing they have it handled! I'll specifically mention music volume, as that was the main thing I worried about - we wanted a dance party, and we got one without any issue! Our DJ (Airsun) was really familiar with OAC and with our coordinator (Stacey Dillon) - who herself works there all the time - and they all knew what they needed to do, so I didn't worry for even a second about it. And I never would have guessed there were any sound restrictions by the experience, it didn't hold back the party at all. The facilities manager Dave did a great job with setup and was so kind and helpful about drop off and pickup of all our stuff. We also worked with Rodney of Marin Event Lighting to hang bistro lights (he is the only one allowed to do it) and they were gorgeous and perfect. They also require you work with one of their approved caterers, and Sage did a phenomenal job! OAC is a stunning hidden gem in Mill Valley and I would highly recommend it for any event!

We had our wedding in September 2023 at the Outdoor Art Club, and I could not be happier with every detail. We had visited many venues, and nothing gave us the right vibe until we stepped foot into the OAC. What's most important to me is always the people, and every single person we got to work with there was beyond helpful and kind. David helped us plan out the most perfect layout for our group. He is so fun and a true delight to be around. He made everything flow and planning with him was a piece of cake because he knows exactly what to do! Mary was welcoming from Day 1, super responsive always, and a pleasure to work with. Kenny was also a great person to meet, and he does a great job with the grounds - always offering a kind word and a smile! Hilary was there the day of our wedding and she kept everything in check. Beyond the people, the venue is so naturally beautiful and has such a storied history. Guests were so happy to be there, and kept commenting on how beautiful the flowers and grounds were kept. You also cannot beat the location to downtown Mill Valley, and yet it still feels very tucked away and private from the hustle and bustle of the town! We are so happy to have had our special day at the Outdoor Art Club with all the wonderful OAC staff and volunteers who made it a happen.
