We'd try to kill them with a broom and they seemed to be multiplying by the millions. The room was super clean and spacious. The dock was a BEAUTIFUL spot to watch the sunset. After checkout the next morning, we got a call from Sweet Janis letting us know that the "hatch" of the flies was unexpected and not normal and THEY REFUNDED OUR STAY!! Back then a good resort cabin was one where the screens weren't ripped and the screen door closed to keep the misquotes at bay. Boy things have changed. Scott and Beth's Otter Tail Beach Resort is nothing at all like those resorts of my childhood. I stayed in one of the smaller cabins and it was modern, clean, and very functional. There was a nice complete kitchen area, a TV, and a nice shower right in the cabin. The woodwork and detail was awesome. In some ways the cabin was nicer then my house. When I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.
