She took her time doing my nails and was super thorough. She was gentle cutting my cuticles. Ive never had a manicure so clean and nice. Nhi did my pedicure. Let me tell you! She was thorough and gentle. I always get scared getting pedicures since I do not like when the ladies dig too deep or are too rough. But Nhi did an awesome job! My feet feel super clean! Definitely would recommend coming here. I went in on a Sunday at 10 and there wasn't a wait

the lasy was so nice which makes me feel bad because of this review but the guy tht did my nail was mean and did not do my nails at all like the picture. all my fingers were cut and burning for days after. i was bleeding on 8 fingers i was visibly in pain and he kept sanding away at my fingers. why?? 90$ spent on this embarrassing set. i left crying because i spent 90$ on this ugly bday set. my fingers were too sensitive to try and take it off everytime i put acetone it burned so bad my stomach hurt

Keen is everything it says it is, "an experience you'll actually look forward to." I live on Long Island, NY and work in Manhattan where I will usually go for my manis/pedis. I was in Virginia over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and I can easily say I have yet to find a place which compares to the attention to detail, quality work, refreshing hospitality, and luxurious foot massage (included with the pedi), I received all in the same visit. And happy to add that both polishes are still going strong. It wasn't my first time there, and I made sure to get back to Keen during this visit as well. Thank you! Bring it to New York! I would give 0 stars if I could. The manager/owner is horrible and disrespectful. As her two staff members were doing a lovely job on my mom's nails, she sat next to my mom and started randomly ranting about her issues. She ranted on and on about how she was sick and tired of her kids and family but then took it further and started complaining about how she hates being Vietnamese and considers herself white. It was a shocking and strange turn of events and my mom was extremely offended, with her being Vietnamese herself. It made for an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience, I would not recommend anyone to come here. read more

Language barrier is often a problem but this time it was just the most difficult exchange I experienced. I came in and asked for regular mani and they ended up prepping me for gel. When I said it was just regular I needed, woman removed the gel with an attitude. Afterwards, they kept questioning me why only regular mani, not gel. Found this place on Yelp,Came here to get my nails done it was empty I asked if there was anyone available for a full set. , the lady(owner) said she had a customer while she (owner) was sitting down getting a pedicure. April 15, 2023 just took my girlfriend in to have her nails done, the guy there did a terrible job! cutting almost all of her fingers they didn't come out at all like the pictures and when we got home she noticed the paint was already coming off! Her fingers were burning from the cuts. It was a waste of 90$ and it took about 3 hrs even tho it was not packed read more

Glad I decided to stop by because I found out they are under new management. The shop looks like a whole other place, clean, brand new equipment, chairs and floor. I was weary to go in but it was worth it. I received a full service pedicure, I was not rushed or worried about getting upsold. Very professional, I'll definitely be back. read more

Happened to walk-in about 2 weeks ago after noticing they weren't crowded. I yelped them in the parking lot and saw that their reviews had gotten better in the last few months so I decided to give them a try. I got a full set by Michelle and she did a really good job. Even through typing, washing dishes and housework, I didn't have any lifting or chipping. Everyone was really nice and the place is clean. Just left after my 2nd visit and this time I got a pedicure in addition to a full. Good job as usual by Michelle and the lady who did my pedicure was very gentle. Lol almost too gentle but maybe it's because I'm used to those really rough pedicures that leave your toes sore. I no longer want sore toes so I will definitely be coming here for my pedicures now as well. read more

You stated you were the former owners. You are not as I frequented that salon before C-19 AND knew the staff. As well, I was shown a chart of the prices and the pedicure was $20.00. I'm ok with the gel on the nails but the pedicure was too much. Your employees did a good job but your pricing chart was what I saw. You have MANY upgrades in the salon for which I'm sure patrons are paying for. You should at the very least have choices for the use of the fancy chairs. This is a well needed service by the American community but you lack options and clarity for customers. read more

The shop has new managment and was greeted by the new Owner Hang. The business is family owned and is under remodeling. I decided to get a pedicure due to all the stress from work to help wind down. This was my first experience and I'll definitely be coming back my feet never felt so soft and clean from all the essential oil and Epsom salt. It was my first time and not coming back, no air condition, no massage chair, slow service, they charge for removal of gel manicure, extra charge for everything. Plus the manicurist own nails are dirty. She didn't even massage my hands after my manicure. Overall not satisfied, not happy, very unprofessional! read more

This place is your typical Asian nail place so when you come here don't expect some very special treatment. There's three ladies that work here, Lily, Tina and Ivy. Yeah they may take in Vietnamese the whole time or make small talk with you but hey they get the work done if you need something quick and reliable. read more

Nothing special, they're friendly but spend the whole time talking to each other in their language. I had to ask a couple of times to clean the polish off my toe and fix the polish that wasn't smooth. After disagreeing with her that it wasn't my nail that was 'broke' she went ahead and fixed it. Could probably do a better job myself. read more

You could easily loose a bumper if your not careful. I walked in at exactly my appointment time and was admittedly greeted by name. I played " any, many ' miney, moe" with the seating based on the cleanliness and proceed to scope out the place. Did it need updates for sure but that wasn't a deterrent, I can't imagine how much it cost to replace something every time a client scrapes or nicks something . My concern was dust and dirt and the missing nail license( yes I look for those) the shop didn't quite meet my standards and I wasn't sure if it was because there is a lot of black and white in the salon or if they just didn't make cleaning a priority. After about 5 minutes of scanning the room , buzzing from the nail drill I look at my watch. Nothing... no one coming from the back, no plastic being added to the pedicure bowl or water being ran. 4:10 comes and the phone rings" I hear " ok, ok, how long?" And the phone hangs up. The nail tech turns to me and bodily says " your nail tech is in traffic, she said she'll be here in 30 minutes, ok? ." Some many things ran through my head in that moment... but all I could was say " that's not ok" walked out. What a big waste of my time and the boldness the request more time. So if you can look past the potential of car damages, cleanliness issues, and if you have unlimited time, this salon might contend for your business. As for me and my toes , no thanks ! One last thing- where did all those stars come from? There is no way that many people have little to no standards..N/M ... contend at your own risk

I've been coming to Pro Nails salon off and on for many years and it's difficult to tell which one…read moreI am reviewing, so I will review both noting what I feel are the key differences. The Sepulveda location has been around longer. I usually call and ask if Helen is available and usually I can get in quickly. I think each technician at the Sepulveda location has a different style. Helen opened up the PCH location and it was later sold to a different owner. I consider both locations about the same rating, but I like them for different reasons. I prefer Sepulveda location if I want white French tips, which I just went in for and they did a beautiful job. If I want them to use my own nail color I also go there. They have easy parking and easy to get in and out fast. The PCH location does not carry white tips, will not use polish that you bring in and parking can be a challenge. The PCH technicians all seem to turn out a similar nice result and they use more variety of small bit attachments on their tools. Small bits can get into tight spots and clean up under the nail better in my opinion. The PCH salon is better maintained with more spacious. I didn't touch on sanitation. That's something to ask about.

If only certain techs are able to do it, then it should be the salon's responsibility to ask the customer when booking the appointment - since it's such a big issue. Been about 1 week and nails are peeling and not healing. Great.
