I remember when they finished building this Outlet Mall, I still lived in the area and I've been a few times over the years. Usually I go shopping like this with someone, mom, sister, daughter- it's just more fun shopping with someone. I've been to various "Premium Outlets" across numerous states- this one is right off I75, one of the things they go for is being right off an interstate. That means traffic in this area is crazy, and even more crazy during holidays and rush hour. Covid killed a few businesses at this location and a few still haven't reopened, but the majority of the Outlet stores are alive and well. This time, I shopped with my sister- which was super fun. I shopped some of her favorite stores, but my reason for wanting to come was the Sperry Shoes Outlet Store. Everything else was just icing on the cake. Getting name brand at a discount is always good, and even the normal discounts have additional sales too. Not that name brand always equates to quality, but some cases- yes. My shopping spree started at At Home (I actually went back to get something I debated on in store), Sperry Outlet, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Direct Tools, Finish Line & Vera Bradley. I may have missed a store- but that is what I can remember off hand. My sister and I made various purchases across numerous stores and went across the street for lunch. We passed the running children's train ride as we were walking between stores and there was medium foot traffic for a Thursday late morning. We hit sales- that's what you do especially when you are shopping outlets. As stated in other reviews- the Tampa Premium Outlet isn't actually in Tampa, but north of the city... I guess Lutz Premium Outlet wouldn't draw people in the same way? LOL Where's Lutz? Happy Shopping! read more

It's nice to have an outlet mall closer to Tampa so that we don't have to drive to Ellenton or Orlando, however, it is lacking some of the stores that the other outlet malls have. Parking is a breeze as there always seems to be availability unless it's around the holidays. Mall is clean and well laid out. read more

I really like this mall and the theming is beautiful. They have so many wonderful stores to choose from! This mall is always busy, especially around the holidays. My entire family loves coming here. We have a lot of luck finding the items we need as well as finding things we never knew we needed haha. Be careful when using the card readers on the soda machines though! I used mine once on the machine and I got an email and text from my bank shortly after asking if I had made these charges...well not only did it charge me for my drink but there were also about five other charges from there for varying amounts ($2-$10). And I spoke with the bank reps, yes it was from that and we disputed, my card was deactivated and I was sent a new one. No one needs to deal with that hassle so if you use the machine PLEASE use cash. read more

Nice selection of stores for everyone. Can get hot since you are outside going store to store but always nice and cozy on the inside. On my trip I knew what I was looking at so stopped at the stores I knew I wanted to go to but also stopped at a few stores in between. Probably would have spent more time there if it was cooler and a storm was not coming in on the horizon. Will return the next time I am in town. read more

I love coming here during off times like at night in the middle of the week to avoid the crowds. The weekends came be quite packed. There is a good variety of stores to match your heart's shopping desire or get your steps in while people watching. My favorite store is Reebok as it usually has great sales. Just the other day, I purchased a new pair of runnings shoes, two tank tops, and a high support sports bra for $60. My kids love the Disney Store Outlet as they can get cute clothes with their favorite characters for a deal. The grounds and restrooms are well-maintained. This makes for a nice experience if traveling with family. Parking can be a pain as you have to walk around to an opening in the mall area. There is a good selections of good eats on the property like Cheddar's, Chicfila, Johnny Rockets (in the mall), Aunt Anne (in the mall), McDonald's, Mod Pizza, Starbucks, BJs brewhouse, and even more across the street. read more

Love this outlet mall! Lots of great stores with great deals all in one beautiful location. The parking area is very large and they even offer valet parking if you are feeling a little extra fancy at the mall. There's lots of store here for every one. The food court had a verity of eats and there's also a Starbucks and a Auntie Annie's. In the summer it does get hot walking from shop to shop, but if the winter if it's chilly there turn on their fire pits outside! They have strollers/carts you can rent for you need something for your little ones to ride in. The yankee candle outlet is the best outlet store here and they always have great deals. Defiantly a mall to check out for back to school or holiday shopping! read more

I love outlet malls! I love them simply for the year round discounts on brand name items (normally sold at full price). While vacationing in Florida, I made an effort to stop at the Tampa premium outlets to score some great deals and get some "retail therapy." This outdoor outlet mall is new, easy to navigate, and in the center courtyard, there's running space for your child or pet to play around in. The parking lot is big so there should be no issues when finding a spot. The food court has basic fast food options. If you have the Yelp app, check into the Tampa Premium outlets to get a free booklet loaded with extra savings to their stores. read more

This outlet mall isn't bad. I like how it's not nearly as busy as the outlets in Orlando. That means that you have a better chance of getting a good deal and don't have to deal with throngs of tourists. The store selection is pretty good here. I'd say there's something for everyone. I will say though, however, that I think the other outlet serving Tampa Bay, Premium Outlets Ellenton, has more selection and better deals. This place wins out for ambiance and having more choices for food and leisure outside of the actual mall. It gets super hot here though. They should have more outdoor coverings for an open-air mall in Florida. read more

Great place to go shopping! Right now they're still working on building up the area but there are still tons of restaurants to visit. There's a good variety of stores here and ample parking. The walkways and restrooms are well kept and always clean. There are lots of gathering areas and seating all around the property. Lots of benches and chairs with charging stations between the stores. The central area is a great place to hang out, with the fountain, fireplace, and grassy area. Off to one side there's a small shaded children's playground so it's a great place to bring the family. read more

I stayed at the Hampton on a business trip located right next door to this outdoor shopping mall. ..Outdooors, nice,clean,classy,on the Go beer stand is perfect. Who doesn't like drinking and shopping. You can literally drink your beer in the stores. The mall is pretty good size, good amount of stores and restaurants near by. They decorate for Christmas giving it a magical feeling. 10-10 recommended. I had a great experience. read more

Tampa finally has an outlet mall! It seems almost beyond comprehension that Tampa can host the Super Bowl multiple times but it took until near the end of 2015 to get an outlet mall?? I'm so happy not to have to deal with that long drive to Ellenton anymore. The layout of this outlet mall was really thought out well. At Ellenton you have to weave up and down different rows to get to all of the shops and the whole complex looks like a concrete jungle. Here the complex is shaped like two rectangles with a tranquil water area with fountains and a bridge in the middle. It makes doing a full round much easier. The architecture of many of the buildings looks quite interesting also. The vast majority of the stores that I would go to at Ellenton are located here also. Some of the stores have clothes that seem to be priced almost "mall high" but there are great deals to be found also. Today I got a nice long-sleeved shirt for $15. It's not just clothes stores here. There's also other categories such as luggage and food. A friend of mine was raving about how good the chocolate he got from Lindt's Chocolate was. I almost wish that he hadn't. I ended up paying $16 for a little bag of peppermint white chocolates and I had no regrets after eating one! The food court is nothing to write home about, but that's not surprising for an outlet mall. The traffic situation around the mall makes getting here a little painful but it's fun once you do! read more

First things first. Have you looked at the building? At first glance, I see a prison. The central tower, with other small towers, and the complex. It's kind of scary. Other than that, there's ample parking, there's even a bus loading and unloading area... I guess they're expecting tours. It has all the stores you expect and places for more to come in. I noticed a plethora of clothing, shoes and luggage stores. Frankly only one or two seemed to catch my eyes. I wasn't overly impressed with what's going on. read more

This is a newer Premium Outlet and the exterior design and layout is quite nice; a clean, pleasant walk around. Dogs allowed in courtyard areas as long as they are on a leash. However, I have NEVER been to an outlet before where I wasn't tempted to buy a thing. And that's what happened here. They have all the stores that I usually go to, however I found the the physical size of those stores as well as the selection they offered to be smaller than other locations I've visited. Not sure if I just went at an "off" season day, but it was a disappointing experience. read more

Opening Day and the place was full of happy shoppers AND retail workers! Every store we went into we were greeted and the smiles were a'plenty! Let's just hope those smiles turned into sales because I really want this place to thrive! There are several open spots still, and I'd love to see them filled with stores like: David Yurman, BCBG, etc. instead of Claire's...just MY personal hopes and dreams! The food court has 5 restaurants that serve: salads & smoothies, pizzas, pasta, strombolis, multiple yummy asian foods, Philadelphia cheesesteaks & fries, and a Johnny Rockets (which doesn't open until the first week of November). The place was packed. PACKED. But, the lines went especially smoothly and we did find a place to sit - there is plenty of seating! Outside there are the coolest adirondack chairs all over to pop a squat when the shopping experience is too harrowing - go ahead, they're very cozy! There is also a fire pit for those cold shopping days we have so often...what???? It looks cool, though! And, the piéce d' resistance - my ultimate fave - Starbucks!!! I cannot tell you how important coffee is to my shopping experience. Truly, it's a fact. I LOVE to have all-day shopping days, which means good food court munchies and coffee. I have been to too many outlets that serve that other brand...I'm not even saying their name...just breathe a sigh of relief. Tampa did it right!! read more

This was our first time at these outlets. They were unique, and beautifully maintained! They had lots of great stores, ranging from Godiva, to coach, to under armour and nike, to the Disney store. They also had a Hanna Andersson outlet, which was great! They had many family restrooms, so if you are traveling with little ones, not only do they have changing tables, but smaller toilets for those who are too little for the big ones! I would definitely recommend checking these outlets out of you are in the Tampa area and enjoy shopping! read more

Made a return trip on Labor Day weekend but found a parking spot despite the crowds and managed to stay dry despite occasional rains. The retail mix seems to offer something for everyone and all of the stores I visited offered great deals and great customer service. Whether I was checking out shoes, perusing purses or finding ways to update my business, casual and workout wardrobes, I was consistently and pleasantly acknowledged and offered assistance if any was needed. This is now a must stop on my shopping list. Love that it is a fairly short interstate ride away. read more

Most item prices are normal except in the "sale" areas. The grounds themselves are nice, and encourage constant stops for chillaxation. Great discounts, wide variety of stores. Signed up for the coupons at the guest services desk. Some of the coupons were good others want you to spend a ton before you get a discount. Food court was better than other outlets with johnny rockets, Asian, and Italian, Starbucks and smoothie shop outside. Parking wasn't bad with plenty of spaces all around the perimeter of the property. About 20 minutes from our hotel in Tampa. Will come back again when I'm in town. read more

They did a nice job with the outlets. Looks good. The stores are good. The layout is good. The location is good. The only thing that is a bit of a struggle really is the food options. They have a food court kind of area which is very limited. Maybe five or six options. They also have a bunch of restaurants on the property but they are nearly impossible (and dangerous) to get to by walking. So, basically you can't just stop for lunch or take a break in the middle of shopping. You either grab something on your way or you grab something when you leave. We've had to leave early a few times because the kids were hungry in the middle of school shopping and they didn't want one of the limited options in the food court. I would love to see them fix that somehow and make it easier to get to the restaurants. Otherwise, worth the trip. read more

This is a pretty great outlet to me! It's newly built in the past couple years and hopefully it will expand to add few more higher end stores. Or even a Victoria's Secret Outlet store! A girl can dream! :) For now, the Godiva shop will do! ;) The design and spacing of the stores is great in helping you to not become easily confused on your placement like some outlets can. The majority of the shops are your usual ones at each outlet. The bathrooms are pretty clean also the grounds. I like that they have a choo choo train for the kiddies to ride! I also love the seating area with the palm trees and water feature in the central area of the outlet. What I don't like: needs more maps placed throughout the grounds, needs more bathrooms, needs more food options on the grounds, needs more handicapped parking spaces. Overall, it has all the basic stores you need, limited security, great seating throughout and a good layout. read more

This is the most amazing outlet mall. The entire place is designed by categories, so when you want to shop for shoes, for example, many of he shoes stores are all in the same area. This is one of the nicest outlets I've ever been to. It's brand-new and they did a great job of keeping it clean and up to date. There's a firepit, charging stations, and a huge fountain. They have a huge food court, but there are also many restaurants surrounding the outlets if you want to make a day out of it, BJs, Cheddars, and Panda Express to name a few. I'm only giving this review 4 stars because I can NEVER find anything here. It could totally just be me, but I'd really like to see some more stores as well as some better deals. Beautiful outlet mall with decent amount of stores and lots of places to relax. Love the little pirate playground that they have for the kids, the water fountains and so much more. We went on a Saturday and surprisingly it was as busy or crowded like other malls. The only reason why this place is getting a four stars instead of five is because the the food court is kind of small and with so many open areas they should add like a splash park or something instead of having random fountains everywhere. read more

I would really like to say that I had a good experience but Steve Madden ruined it for me. Rude Manager who asked me to leave even after showing her my medical exemption card for not being able to wear a mask for health reasons. Other stores accommodated my shopping because I am very careful to social distance. She made a point to tell me we don't accept that and I don't care. Way to treat the ADA community. read more

Disappointed that almost no stores allow dogs. Yes of course you can bring your dog around the mall, but if it's just yourself, you're stuck.
