First off... WOW! I wasn't expecting much for my first visit here, but this outdoor outlet mall is just as good as any Tanger! I was thinking I would have to drive to Daytona, but nope, Tampa Premium Outlets is awesome! Every store we needed is here... Vera Bradley, Fossil, Forever 21, Lindt & Godiva, Columbia, Crocs, and so many more! Please visit the website for the full list of stores, but on our first visit we were able to hit every store we needed in one trip. They have an indoor food court and family restrooms to make things easy for families with children. They even had a vending machine for parents with infants and toddlers, which had essential items that are easily forgotten in the diaper bag like diapers, wipes, snacks and even formula! This is my first time here. My hubby brought me here for my birthday I will definitely be back. There were tons of stores and shops

I have been here 4 times since the quarantine allowed me to venture out a little. Businesses were owning up, and I must say that the deals are remarkable. Most shoppes requires a mask and social distancing of course. The stores have a limit of how many people can be in the store at a time, so this might cause a delay on entry and dare I say it, "join the line". Overall everyone has been adhering to the rules and I absolutely love the sales I have been catching. read more

I'm glad we finally have outlets close by, but this is Wesley Chapel/Lutz not really Tampa. It still isn't a hop skip and a jump away from me but it still closer than going to the Ellenton outlets or all the way to Orlando. Aesthetically these outlets are appealing and I like the walkability of them. I also tend to find parking pretty close to an opening even during busy season. I've found some pretty good deals here at the athletic stores. However I don't see that much of a savings in other stores that I go to. There also isn't a few of the stores that I like that I have to go all the way to Orlando for like Tory Burch or Movado. Since I'm not specifically looking for those things and I would just love to browse to see if I want something I really only go into those stores if I happen to be in Orlando and happen to be going to the outlet while I'm there. I do think that Tampa has enough money in the city that the stores would get business and I think whoever planned this outlet did is a disservice By not having more high-end outlets available here. I mean that's why you go to an outlet, right? To get a deal on high end stuff. I also can't stand the food options at this outlet. Every time I've tried to eat something here I've been disappointed. A lot of people love this mall and seem to have no issue in finding places to shop. It's been a while since I've been, but from what I can tell they've added more places to eat which is pretty nice. From my own experience, I really don't care much for this one. I'm not a fan of it being outdoors, but I guess that has its benefits. It's just that it gets so hot and wandering around without A/C and the like is pretty miserable most of the time. It's got an alright amount of shading with some of the walk-ways having an overhead arch. The stores here are far too rich for my blood. I don't care much for the name brands which is why this probably doesn't appeal that much to me, but it doesn't seem to have much for shopping here. It seems like most of what's there is just stuff you could get online. Didn't seem like it had any unique draw over any other malls I've been to. I'm also not a fan of the roads getting in and out. Great shopping mall! They have a variety of shops but I many of these shops are on the pricy side. If you also love branded items, this is a great place to check out. Many of these stores have deals and sales which I thought was ok. Also, there was a little corner where kids can play with the baby rides. You just have to have quarters for it to start. I loved that! My son really enjoyed it as well. Lastly, food court did not seem appealing though so we dropped by to the neighboring Panda Express. The outlet, while outdoors, is covered so that you can still shop peacefully regardless of weather. There is a nice little bridge at the center point of the shopping center and a sitting area with fire pit. They have a play area for children. I don't know...maybe I'm a clueless cretin, but there are no stores in there that I would desire to even set foot in. Shoe shops? We have those right down the road from me in Spring Hill. Honestly, I've seen better offerings in Alabama and rural Michigan (Birch Run) when I lived there. This is the second time I drove through and didn't have the desire to even stop in at all. So for all the hype this place had when it opened to packed-out crowds, I'm curious what all the hubbub was about. Nothing special and too many tourists and families walking in front of our car with cellphone to face, paying no attention to their children nor the traffic. Boring and "whitebread." Pass! Maybe get something cultural or unusual and I'll find it worthwhile to park my aching self in a spot long enough to come in. But in this case, you can judge a book by its cover and this is just a tourist trap that contributes to the congestion off of 75. read more

I really like this mid-sized outlet mall (partially covered). It's always super clean and has a wide variety of stores. Recently they've added more food/drink options which is great! I have visit this place many time. After a year, they finally have some good sales. During this thanksgiving season, the Black Friday sale has some good discounts. Parking lots are full of cars. Hopefully this is a prosperous year for the mall. The Christmas decorations is not much in the mall. But the light colors is adjusted to green and red. Currently the mall has built up their surrounding with some good restaurant. It is good for the shopper who went there. There are some unique store such mimmic. This is the only Outlet is Tampa even though it's actually located in the Lutz area but it's close to the highway ramp so it's not that far into Lutz for people who think Lutz is quite a drive from Tampa. I love shopping at the Premium Outlets to find great deals. This outlet is just a couple of years old. It's clean, big, and has a nice outside area with relaxing chairs, fire pits, grass for kids to run around, and a walking bridge where people are usually taking pictures at that spot. They have a few of my favorite stores at this Outlet like Kate Spade, Nike, Bath & Body Works, Disney, Saks Off 5th, and Cole Haan to just name a few. This Outlet doesn't have some of the stores I like to shop at like the Outlets in Orlando, but since I am in the Tampa area looking for great deals for name brand items, this location is a great option for me to shop at, especially if I don't want to make a far drive out to Orlando. The Tampa Premium Outlets has saved me so much driving time and so much money by not buying items at full price. read more

WOW! Daniel, one of the employees here was absolutely amazing! The patience he exhibited on the phone with me was just incredible! He was on the phone with me helping me decipher the numbers on an old pair of slides so I could surprise my son-in-law who is only in Tampa for a short visit! We went through all of the possible solutions/selections but because the style had changed, it was a little bit challenging at first. To add to that, they are currently in the middle of a great sale and Daniel was REALLY able to help me get the best value for my money! Just love it when people don't rush you and take the time! The Tampa Premium Outlets is not actually in Tampa. Heck, it's not even in Hillsborough County. And if you're looking for tremendous bargains, well, I didn't find any. But if you are looking for a pleasant shopping experience where you can visit a whole bunch of stores in one big shop, then you'll do very well at this outlet mall. Lots of shade, a good breeze today and lots of seating areas so that you can rest while you're getting your retail therapy. If you've been to one Premium outlet, then you're probably very familiar with how this works and what vendors you'll see here. But they do have a pretty cool fountain. read more

Tampa premium outlets was a smidgeon underwhelming. It's a bit of a hike for me and if I'm honest I won't go again, it just wasn't worth it. There was a large selection of stores in various genres. The pricing was nothing too exciting, I've seen better "deals" in the corresponding retail stores. Parking was ample and easy, walk paths were wide and well kept, I'm sure this is more of a "Covid thing" but the availability of food and drink was slim. The outlets are a decent "time waster" if you like window shopping but don't go expecting a lot of great deals. read more

I have already been to the Tampa Premium Outlet twice on this first Grand Opening Weekend! All was smooth & the drive for my commute & park was 15 minutes. Sweet, no problems! I loved some of the Grand Opening inclusions, and I really hope they do it again. For example, the fireworks on Friday were fun. I also loved that they had 8 food trucks on two sides of the mall area. Please bring it back. There are only like 5 food vendors in the food court, plus a Starbucks, Lemonade stand, frozen ice vendor, and a super crowded Auntie Annie Pretzel shop. I also loved the VIP Lounge. I could have stayed there forever being pampered with getting my hair done, make up, chair massage, photo booth, chocolates, cake pop, and water. Also, can't forget those comfy couches basking in the A/C. I was super happy to see the variety of stores that are now in my neighborhood. For example, stores there are Michael Kors, Adidas, Puma, Papaya, New York and Company, Vera Bradley, Mimmic Jewelry store, Skechers, Yankee Candle, and Loft. I would love to see a Kate Spade Store, Old Navy Store, & a spa. There are a bunch of stores for everyone's liking. There are also few open spaces so I can't see what else will come. The center area of the outlet mall is very pretty and has a nice Florida feel to it with a flowered landscape, bridge, and fountains that even light up at night. Totally excited that this so close to home. I can easily take my doggie with me, and we will make our rounds with our favorite Wiregrass Mall and now Tampa Premium Outlet. I look forward to all that is to come. I really hope there are fun festive activities for the upcoming Xmas season, as well as maybe a new location for Tampa Food Truck Rallies! read more

I'm giving Tampa Premium Outlets 4 stars because of the location (close to my home!) and the design of the entire site. It is absolutely beautiful and I would come here to simply sit by the fountains and listen to the music. There is plenty of seating, many bus stops, tons of parking, it is clean, areas are well lit and it is not difficult to travel on the surrounding roads. I have been waiting for this outlet mall to be built for quite some time and after many legal battles, they have finally managed to deliver as promised. Although I did not find many good deals (mid February was not the best time to shop here), I would imagine back to school time and the holidays would show many more opportunities to snag a deal. I'm looking forward to visiting again when more stores are opened and the surrounding restaurants planned to open are a dining option! I personally am NOT a shopper but my wife asked me to come with her to the Outlets just to walk, talk, sit, relax and enjoy each other's company. It's early and not many stores are open (which I personally love) and there aren't many people milling about. There's a very relaxing atmosphere here when you arrive early. The sun is dripping down on us as we drink our coffee from the Nestle Toll House store. The sound of the waterfalls splashing in the fountain which is natural looking and fits in nicely with the surroundings. There's a bridge overlooking the water which makes for a great backdrop for taking photos. It's very clean, well maintained and just a great place, I think to come walk, shop, eat and just relax. Tampa Premium Outlets has a good selection of shops, stores, and restaurants. This is a nice area to shop,meet with friends or just go for a walk. They have everything from Lucky Brand and American Eagle to Disney and Starbucks. The layout is extremely inviting, with plenty of parking available. There is a good sized courtyard with a great amount of seating for those nice days in March when the weather is just right. They even have areas with large heaters for when it gets a bit cool out. The food court has a great selection with Johnny Rockets, Philly Steaks, Pizza, and Chinese food. There are also some good restaurants, including Cheddars, LongHorn, and Chick-fil-a. If you need a place to shop til you drop or just a good place to people watch ( as long as your not working for the CIA) , this is it. read more

Flashback to February travels to Tampa before Corona arrived brought us to the Tampa Premium Outlet! What a beautiful outdoor mall. My one and only goal was to make it to the COACH store. Score!!! The experience was wonderful and pampering. The customer service was phenomenal from initial greeting through checkout. I'm told you can do some shopping at the Tampa Premium Outlets. I wouldn't know. I only show up for the playground and family restroom. Tampa Premium Outlets is a beautifully designed open air outlet. It has numerous fountains throughout which are great for relaxing by. There are lots of coverings strategically placed throughout that help to keep the sun at bay on hot days (although the center of the outlet has an area designed for hanging out and is not covered, it gets real hot here). The kids play area is designed like a pirate ship. It has a few slides (both big and little) and some climbing areas. It isn't much in the grand scheme of things but it entertains my toddler just fine. I like that it is covered (a lot of your Florida playgrounds are not and this is brutal in the summer sun) and that it keeps me from accompanying my wife/mother when they go shopping (I get real bored, real quick with shopping). The only downfall with the playground is that it is right across from Auntie Anne's Pretzels. My daughter always wants pretzels when she is done playing. Another draw at the outlets, surprisingly enough, is the family restroom (outside the food court). There is a kid sized toilet and sink there. My daughter loves it because she can take care of everything she needs on her own. I don't have to help her on the toilet or help her reach the sink. A lot of restrooms are definitely not designed in that way. I have visited some of the other family restrooms around the outlet and have been greatly disappointed with their cleanliness. One was downright disgusting, the worst bathroom I've been in in a long time. That's why we mainly stick to the one by the food court which almost always is clean (maybe people are scared to wreck it because there are so many people around it?). All in all, these are my favorite outlets ever because the have a play area and kid friendly bathrooms. read more

A lot of the stores seem more geared towards older crowds but there are a few places for teens and young adults (forever 21, guess, express, etc.).
