You know I had to get my hands on a cup... or two. The decor is so clean, fresh, and bright! It's not too busy where you're trying to figure out where to start and where to end in the shop. I talked to the owner and he said that the booth is 3inch memory foam which is a plus!! I can sit there and study for hours! Staff was friendly and service was fairly quick for soft opening. They have an ultra cool top you can slide it open and close. Okay, high mountain tea is my favorite ever since trying it in California. I highly recommend it. The super fruit tea, get it in 50% sweet. It has a very refreshing kinda plum taste to it, reminds me of Houstons Boba Zone fruit tea. Makes me miss home. You might be good at English but I think you forgot how to count how many people were in line. There were also SEVERAL other vendors that were serving food with way shorter lines, so if you were hungry maybe you should have gotten some food before especially if you saw how long the wait and line was. Just a suggestion. And if you were hungry after eating all that food, maybe that's a you problem. The workers want to finish everything as fast as possible so they can leave as fast as possible, so next time if you have a problem waiting, don't wait! SUPAA aesthetically pleasing new boba place on Buford Highway. It's in the plaza by USPS next to 285. Huge parking lot. Inside is simple and well decorated! They have tiramisu puff cream and cheese foam (made with cream cheese). Lots of different slush items. The fruit tea has watermelon, strawberry, lime, and lemon. The tiramisu cream tastes really yummy! Ceylon milk tea was pretty strong. I would recommend getting less sugar as the tiramisu cream is a good sweetness. My friend said his fruit tea was refreshing and good but would go even less than 50% sugar. They have separated seats and put distance between them for COVID. There is plexiglass covering and staff wear masks. However, I will say drinks are a bit on the pricier side, similar costs to 4.0. read more

The new kid on the block on Buford Hwy. has taken over by storm! The road populated is populated by competitors like Kung Fu Tea and Pearl's but I find myself going to Tan-Cha. The place is stunning w/ its white/black/grey and minimalistic look. The marble tables paired with the super comfortable chairs, and not to mention the amazing photoshoot backdrop that is the van when you walk right in the door. Repurposed w/ interiors lights and seasonal decorations to make all your IG pics stand out. The staff is extremely friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and the service running smoothly. It gets quite busy and sometimes the drinks take a little longer to come out but that's normal. If you ever see the manager, Mike, make sure to say hi! He's very professional and is always looking to make sure that your experience is nothing but perfect. The drinks here are marble-lous (see what I did there?). It's not your low-tier boba spot thats using powders and flavored syrups. Their teas are top notch and you can taste the difference. Most of the time, I skip the foam and just drink the tea straight! Really nice and clean interior. Large windows allow for a lot of natural light. Big fan of the way they designed their restaurant. I've tried 3 different drinks here and all were really good. Lots of interesting choices for drinks such as cheese foam and cream. There's also a lot of different toppings for drinks like pudding, boba, etc. You can also adjust the amount of ice and sugar in your drinks. So far the strawberry creamsio and matcha slush have been good. The snacks are also good. The popcorn chicken is crunchy and has good flavor especially when you get them spicy. Overall, a good place to get some bubble tea. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will definitely be returning to try their other menu items. read more

I was invited here by a friend for a macaron popup event and while I was there, decided to try one of their teas. There are many tea options near me so I am always eager to try more. The foam was thicccccc and the tea flavor was stroooonnng. I think we spoke to the owner but he told us they have a very strict and short lifetime for the tea brews because they're all about freshness and quality. So he also said they don't use powders.!! The entire concoction was dense af and just so delicious but also v filling. We got regular sweetness level and it was pretty perfect, not too sweet but oncw you mix the foam in, the sweetness level intensifies. Maybe we'll get less sweet next time. This place is delicious! There's ample parking as well as seating. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I got one of the foam bobas and it was amazing! You can grab a mini shovel to eat the foam of the top before you drink the boba. I'd say the foam was my favorite part. It tasted very rich and tasty, but without the bad feeling that comes after eating a rich dessert. The rest of the drink with the boba is a good way to finish up the drink. My only complaint is that the music was way too loud. This is a great place to do work, but I had to take my meeting outside to my car and we ended up leaving early because of it too. Really, really excellent. This place is top-notch: stylish, clean, comfortable, with quick service and delicious drinks. Their menu is expansive, and features everything from fruit teas to milk teas to slushes to smoothies to coffees, with as many types of toppings/foam to match. I tried the uji green milk tea w/ tiramisu foam and boba (apparently their #3 bestseller), and my mother ordered the brown sugar latte w/ boba. Our drinks came out quickly, were gorgeous to look at, and delicious to taste. The uji green milk tea is less sweet than a lot of the other bobas, which I liked, and the tiramisu on top was wonderful and light. (Tan-Cha also has tiny disposable shovels you can take with you to scoop up the foam on top.) We also loved the popcorn chicken: really crisp/tasty and more affordable than other places I've seen ($3.99 for a box). The bobas were a bit more expensive, about $6 a piece. As for Covid precautions: they've socially distanced the line to order and have seating open for every other table (though we didn't dine in). The space is new, clean, and cozy. It's official, tan-cha is my favorite bubble tea spot in GA, and I'm so sad it's so far from me. Everytime I go, I have gotten nothing but the royal ceylon milk tea (I switch between brulee or tiramisu, but brulee is my favorite) and it never disappoints. I don't like any other milk tea after having ceylon milk tea. The tea flavor is so bold and fragrant, it reminds me of Hong Kong milk tea. I get mine with 0% sugar because the brulee (or the tiramisu) makes it sweet enough. I also tried the chicken nuggets and fried tofu and it's so good with the tamarind sauce, sooo good! Every time I come to Atlanta, I always make sure to get my fixing of Tan Cha. Almost every drink I've had with them are delicious and addicting that I always come back for a second fixing. I'm a matcha tea lover so I had to get my matcha and theirs have the perfect amount of matcha that isn't overpowering and the sweetness level is enough to my liking (considering it was at 100% sweetness level). The foam is thick and has a sweet/salty taste. It also has a roasting taste to it like a roasted marshmallow. It can be pretty addicting. We've also had the popcorn chicken and firecracker shrimp (not pictured) and you can never go wrong with getting both since they're both really good. The shrimp was juicy and the crunch from the egg roll paper was perfect. The chili sauce for dipping was a good amount of spice for those who like spice. Definitely love coming here every time I visit Atlanta. read more

Got an uji matcha cheese foam milk tea with agar jelly. The matcha was very fragrant and the agar jelly complimented this lighter tea very well without making it too sweet. I got regular sweetness and ice. I would honestly like to give this place a try in the future and hope for better customer service. They have a fun menu with snacks and many fruity drinks and I'd love to try those. Tldr; don't bother ordering ahead, just order in person. Milk Tea Base: I may be biased but I thought the milk tea base was pretty average. I could taste the hints of the leaves without a bitter after taste. They were soft enough and was tasteless although that part is understandable because we only really added it for texture. I liked it though Topping: the Tiramisu puff cream was a very unique experience, although a tad too sweet for me (personal preference!). You can eat the cream by itself or mix it. I enjoyed Tan-Cha so much that I came for two days in a row. I am not from the Atlanta area, but I visit quite often and love that there is a location so close to my family. Right now with Covid, they have blocked off some of the seating, but they have a big space to accommodate anyone who would want to enjoy their drink inside. Both times I got the brown sugar latte with boba. You can't really adjust the sweetness level, but can ask for a little less of the brown sugar in it. It still is a little too sweet for me but delicious. My favorite brown sugar latte out of tiger sugar, gong cha, feng cha, and kung fu. I'm blown away by the boba. The boba was so fresh and chewy. My husband got the roasted oolong tea with cheese foam. By the straws, they have these cute shovel spoons that I'm guessing are used for any of the foams? My brown sugar drink was really large compared to my husband's, which I'm not complaining about. We might need to go one last time before leaving ATL. I love the interior with all the white marble and comfortable chairs. They have this cute VW van inside the shop, which is a little much in my opinion but I guess they have space for it? After making the hike to the Buford Hwy Farmers Market, a bubble tea was in order. We gave Tan-Cha a try since it was right across the street, and I am so glad we did! When it comes to bubble tea, I honestly tend to go for the more basic choices, but the unique tea/foam/boba choices intrigued me. I tried the seasonal Uji Green Milk Tea with Tiramisu Puff Cream and added yogurt popping boba, and it was just *chef's kiss*. The foam was so light and complemented the green milk tea very well, and if you're a fan of Yakult, the yogurt popping boba was a treat after every sip. i've ordered the thai milk with oreo not bubbles and with extra oreo. I was finished with my drink after 3 gulps because what was leftover was a cup half full of ice. Mind you their cups are deceptive tall and thin ( reminds me of fooling a child that their getting a big drink of let's say coca cola when their given the tall skinny glass not a short wide cup like a mug). I talked to Roy and asked for another on the house and his response was " you didn't ask for no ice and since I have already drank the beverage he wouldn't give me another without paying " .
