Rating: 4/5 stars (Would be 5 if not for a rocky start!)…read more​The Gym: Great facility, excellent equipment, and a really nice location. ​The Bitter: I joined for weightlifting and body recomp, but my first trainer completely ignored my goals and health limitations (asthma/dysautonomia). Instead of teaching me to lift, she told me I "wasn't ready" for the squat rack and would push circuit training and resistance bands. Eventually even though i have asthma and limitations she would end up telling me to do cardio. I felt discouraged and watched HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS go down the drain. As a neurodivergent person, speaking up wasn't easy, but I finally went to the PT manager. He paired me with Jack for my remaining sessions. ​The Sweet: I wish I'd been paired with Jack from day one! He put me right on the dang squat rack during our first session. He actually listened, remembered my physical limitations, and tailored everything to MY goals. He is incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable. ​The Verdict: The gym itself is great, but the training experience is only as good as your trainer. If you want a serious, attentive coach who actually listens, do yourself a favor and sign up with Jack.

This place is a disaster. The membership team is rarely friendly, the lockers are constantly dirty…read moreor broken, and the bathrooms smell absolutely terrible. Those issues are frustrating, but they're tolerable. What is not tolerable is having money withdrawn from your account using a signature you did not authorize. When confronted about it, instead of taking responsibility or offering a simple apology, they seem to go above and beyond to find excuses for how the "mistake" happened. Mistakes can happen, but unauthorized charges and the use of a signature that isn't yours are serious matters. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of accountability. At this point, it's not about dirty lockers or bad-smelling bathrooms. It's about trust, accountability, and how customers are treated when something serious goes wrong.

I had been trying to get back into working out consistently for years. I didn't enjoy any of it. When I saw an ad for a new F45 opening up down the road from me I decided to give it a try. Well about 3 months in, I've been super consistent. The 45 minute time frame and tons of times available to make sure you can work it in your schedule. I get an absolutely epic workout each time. I get more out of that 45 minutes than any other work outs I've tried. The trainers are all knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. The community of people is wonderful. But for me, it's the convenience. Down the road, 45 minutes, epic workout...cardio, strength, and hybrid classes. They make sure all muscle groups are being worked as well as cardio. I cannot recommend F45 midtown enough.

The workouts are varied enough that you don't get bored and it is great having experts make sure you are getting the most out of each station. This gym has all the basics; no frills…read more The main floor has a good amount of cardio machines, as well as weight machines that are used for their circuit training class, but available to everyone when the class isn't in session. The basement has a fairly large weight room. Locker rooms are a bit dark and smell moldy... I try to avoid if I can. This gym is always slow and quiet when I go in the mid/late morning time. Mostly seniors and a few students... so a mellow, low-pressure gym environment which I very much appreciate! I rarely have to wait for a machine! Unfortunately they no longer offer childcare while you workout, which is a service I was hoping to utilize.

Preston, Preston, Preston…read more He is the man at just putting the work in. I just started using his program and my legs are in complete and utter shock. The guy will keep your heart rate up and use all different type of functional workouts to hit every part of the muscle. I would highly recommend the guy for all fitness and diet goals. The guys a beast in itself. He does group workouts so join me and start making your fat cry, aka sweat.

Best gym in Town!…read more Super clean, great equipment and hard to find special stuff. I get intimated going to some of these independent bodybuilding gyms however there are a lot of regular people, bodybuilders and fitness girls there and everyone is friendly, encouraging and nice. It's nice that its a local family owned gym and not some big box gym. I happened to meet the owner while working out there also (Lance) great guy, and you can tell he really cares for the place Never going to another gym, LOVE THIS PLACE!

They offer so many things here if you're a member. When I visited for the baby shower it was such a beautiful day and the rooftop bar was open. The cabanas were a vibe, staff was attentive It was a beautiful baby shower When I visited as a guest I stayed all day, got a smoothie, did a weight lifting class which I loved the instructor was so good. Music in the class made me dance while I worked out it was such a vibe. I was sore in places I haven't been sore in years after taking this class, I def want to try the yoga and Pilates class next visit. After we worked out we hit the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. Showers were amazing as they have Kiehl's products body wash/shampoo and conditioner. They have blow dryers and endless towels Bathrooms and locker rooms were clean. It was neat they also had a spot where we dried off our swimsuit after we hit the pool.

This location also features a café, full spa, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and premium Locker rooms. They even have a daycare facility for the little ones. They too can some get some exercise and energy out while you get your workout in.. Then while they still have extra energy, you can relax and unwind in the spa or sauna. This was our first visit to lifetime Biltmore, but it won't be our last. Thank you so much for a wonderful event.

I was prompted to join a waitlist, so I wasn't expecting to hear anything back quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from Michael Collins within the hour! Michael emailed me and asked if I'd like a tour. I let him know I could swing by that night at 7:30 PM. He replied letting me know he'd be there and asked that I text him when I was on my way, great! I texted Michael at 7 PM letting him know I'd be leaving in 20 minutes to get there by 7:30, and I attempted to re-confirm my appointment. I didn't get a reply, but the gym is close to my house, so I decided to go anyway. I arrived at about 7:28. The door was unlocked so I stepped inside. I was greeted by 3 dogs and 0 humans. The dogs seemed nice, but I didn't want to take any chances so I stepped outside and sent Michael another text saying I had arrived. I then saw that he read my text at 7:32 but he didn't reply. I waited a bit and called him at 7:42, no answer. I still waited until about 7:50 and decided to give up and go home. I ALWAYS try to give people the benefit of the doubt, so the next morning I sent Michael another email asking what had happened... I still have not heard back from that email to this day 1/15. I'm super disappointed because I really wanted to support a local gym and experience the welcoming community talked about in the comments. The ball was absolutely dropped, here.
