Wow wow wow !! Tango is so beautiful & clean inside . The staff is so attentive and friendly. I love that they don't rush you . We had the fried calamari which had a light crisp batter and was out of this world . For dinner I had the 20oz shell steak with roasted red pepper and fried egg it was unbelievably good . I highly recommend TANGO.

FYI, for the quality and price, I would've rated this a 3-star, however because of their large food portions and introduction to a new favorite sauce, I gave 4 stars. We ordered way too much food for two people, which means their portion sizes are very large! We had leftovers from both the hot appetizer plate for two and the meat grill for one. The hot appetizers were very mediocre; calamari and shrimp not super flavorful or crispy, chorizo with onions were solid but nothing special. Exception was the BACON WRAPPED DATES, which were excellent. The sheer amount of meat on the grill was shocking to me. The short ribs and skirt steak were delicious, but unfortunately most of the pieces were probably sirloin, which was tougher to chew and probably how they can balance the price of the platter with the amount of meat you receive. I am crediting Tango with introducing me to chimichurri! I couldn't get enough of the strong herb flavors and insisted on getting some to go. I even started making and cooking with it so I'm very grateful.

Went here with my Employee Resource Group, the Hispanic Forum, for our holiday gathering. They brought out endless pitchers of sangrias that were strong and really good. Our table kept needing more. We got a few appetizers, empanadas and calamari. The calamari was so good, perfectly breaded and crisp. The empandas had a good crisp cornmeal crust and the filling mixes were delicious. We had choices of lemon chicken or chimmichurri steak for our entrees. I chose the lemon chicken and my Fiancé chose the chimmichurri steak. They brought us a few shareable sides. Mashed potatoes, fries and rice. I thought my chicken was really good. We were surprised the steak wasn't as great as we thought it would be. It needed the chimmichurri sauce. The fries and rice were cooked perfect. The mashed potatoes tasted more like instant potatoes. The Flan was a little overcooked but the flavor waa good. We did like the vibe here. Everyone joined in celebration/singing for every table's birthdays. Everyone joined in singing in general with everyone. It was a good time.

Parking can be hit or miss, but you can usually always park in the street and have a short walk. The place is a little drafty, but it was really cold that day. We were cheerfully greeted and led to a nice booth in the front room. We've also been in the back room with a larger group, and they're equally well appointed. Nice warm wood and wall art to match. We always enjoy whatever we order here, sometimes it's too much. The first time we came, we ordered a mixed grill for 2 and we had to take a lot of it home. We also had other entrees and multiple appetizers, so that all added up. This time around, there were only 2 of us. The grilled meats had some tough cuts, but there was a lot. The combo appetizer was perfect, will definitely have it again. Pitchers of sangria. you must have them. Service is fantastic, the waitstaff is around without being overbearing, and everyone is attentive.

This place was awesome and great portions for your money .. .. the skit steak was practically falling off my plate so big.. delicious calamari, and shrimp with garlic sauce. Empanadas were awesome as well .. there are 7 of us for my son's birthday and we had plenty of pitchers of sangria as well as bottles of wine. The bill was only $600 including tip for all of us .. that's very reasonable for a great steakhouse . Definitely recommend this place .

It was good overall! The sangria was great, very tasty, we got the half pitcher. We also shared the parrillada for two of Solo Carne (only beef) and added two chorizos. The meat was delicious but some a bit tough and some too fatty, but still enjoyed our meal very much, they were very flavorful nonetheless. Our favorite though were the chorizos. Our platter left us satisfied and it was four of us. We also had some sides: Rice - very good Creamed spinach- a bit too creamy & somewhat salty for our taste we wouldn't order that again. Wasn't bad but not what we're used to. French fries- crispy and well done, my son especially really enjoyed them. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Which is always a plus :) We'll be back soon!

Amazing food and service wether you choose to dine in or to-go. My family and I have been coming here for years and we never leave disappointed. Portions are huge. Drinks are strong. Servers are super nice. Just really good vibes all around! Make sure to try their chimmichurri!!

Shrimps Shrimp in Garlic Sauce Over Rice

I go out with my girlfriends every Wednesday for lunch. So, of course we are always looking for different places to eat. Finally, we made it tango restaurant. OMG... we are so impress with this place! We were welcomed in with a nice smile and welcoming ambiance. Waiter was diligent and very nice. Food was delicious, we had the lunch menu; shrimps over rice and chicken on a lemon sauce with salad. Yummy!! I can't say enough good things about this place. From service, quality of food, wide lunch menu to choose from, prices so reasonable that makes you to want to come back and place was very clean! Overall; we will be back

I love tango! It is right in our neighborhood. The food is always good. The service is amazing. I went here for my sister's birthday last night and I got the pasta with shrimp and clams and it was amazing per usual my mom had the salmon, and my sister had the skirt steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the cappuccino ice cream and it was to die for!!

Yelp's Big Night In was a success for me. I honestly don't know how long this place has been around. It's about 9 miles from my house. But I do know I've been passing it for years and have been hankering to to go I just never get around to it. So it's been sitting in my bookmarks forever. Not anymore will it be ignored. Thanks to Uber Eats I received a fantabulous meal of assorted goodies. My favorite being the Sweetbreads. Cooked & seasoned perfectly. But when dipped in the garlic sauce of the shrimp..... I couldn't get enough. I could eat this dish every day! Highly recommended! Everything was delicious and hot except the tongue dish which I thought would be hot, but it turned out to be a cold salad. SURPRISE! And a nice surprise it was. The tongue was tender and mild flavored when cold. But when eaten with the onions, peppers & boiled eggs it took on another dimension. I would recommend this dish for offal lovers. Overall a wonderful meal and thank you Tango for being open and offering such delicious choices for delivery in these crazy times of Covid. Well Done! 5-30-20

The way the small bar is set up, because of the wall separating it from the dining room...it gives it an intimate vibe I really like. The ambient lighting and pleasing decor sets the mood to enjoy your choice of cocktails. We asked the bartender if she could make the cucumber margarita on the menu spicy? She obliged. Those drinks weren't as spicy or refreshing as we had hoped. We stuck with the classic margaritas for next round. They were just right! I'm not sure if themed weekends are a regular occurrence here. But this night was the final night of their Mango Madness Weekend. We were served plain nachos with a mango salsa dip. The Honey devoured it. I prefer my salsa with a red sauce and a bit of a spicy kick. I decided to give the steam mussels in a sauce with mango pieces, a try. I did not know this was the combination of spicy and sweet that I needed in my life!! We ordered extra bread and sopped up every last bit of it!! We made a point to tell the bartender how much we enjoyed it! We were grateful and disappointed, when she told us we had just eaten the last of it. Dang! We would have certainly asked for another order!! We left there giddy and satisfied. I wasn't even mad that I had to go back to work the next day! I keep thinking, how can we convince them to make the Mango Mussels a permanent menu item? Meet us there and let's discuss it over margaritas! Thank me later.....

Life really came full circle when I got to bring my 10-month-old son here, and he loved everything . The food is always so fresh and full of flavorful. The morcilla is rich , creamy and perfectly seasoned( they make the best morcilla I age ever had) and the empanadas are my absolute favorite with their flaky golden crust and authentic homemade taste. The Russian potato salad is creamy and refreshing, the potato with parsley has that perfect balance of simplicity and freshness, and every bite of meat is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The chimichurri ties it all together with bright garlic and herbs that make every dish pop. Thank you for staying consistent all these years. The food is always seasoned perfectly and made with care. To say our experience at Buenos Aires was disappointing would be an understatement…read more About two months before our wedding, we made a reservation for our rehearsal dinner for 11 people with the manager, Alex. During the planning process, we selected our menu options, confirmed that menus would be printed, requested wine and sangria for the table, and discussed the details intended to make the evening feel special for our families as we kicked off our wedding celebrations. Two days before the rehearsal dinner, we called again to confirm everything and were assured that our party would have the back room for our celebration. We were really looking forward to starting our wedding weekend with our closest family. Unfortunately, when our party arrived, the restaurant seemed completely unprepared for us. There were no printed menus as discussed, and there appeared to be no record of the arrangements we had confirmed twice. Instead of arriving to the setup we had agreed upon, our family was greeted with confusion. Rather than the menus, wine and pitchers of sangria we had discussed, existing flyers outlining prices and different prix fixe options were placed on the table. It was incredibly embarrassing and disappointing, particularly after the amount of planning and confirmation that had gone into an evening that was so important to us. It wasn't until I got up from the table and spoke with the staff about the situation that any real effort was made to correct it. Even after that, service remained slow and inattentive. I do want to acknowledge that the waitstaff did their best under the circumstances. My frustration lies primarily with the management and lack of preparation. We had worked directly with Alex well in advance and confirmed everything again just two days beforehand, yet the team working that evening appeared to have been given little to no information about our reservation or the arrangements that had been made. What should have been a special and celebratory start to our wedding weekend instead became an unnecessarily stressful and disappointing experience for us and our families. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I could not recommend Buenos Aires for an important private celebration.

If it is a busy holiday, management should properly prepare sufficient inventory. 2. Overcharging customers without prior notice is deceptive and unacceptable. 3. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.
