I went here twice during COVID (unfortunately) and I ate outside, everything is clean and really nice, good music, restaurant staff really good, kind and they really care about the social distancing, wearing mask and the gloves, So let's talk about now the main course, The food is pretty good, the meat is tasty and cook good, the presentation of the plate is good and clean. I've been at tango many times before and today I went to find a different place there! very nice decorated with tables outside and valet parking, very nice! we went inside and sat on beautiful red chairs and proceed to order. The parrillada for two took about 20 minutes to come, in the meantime I asked if we can have some bread and we were told that is not like before, they're charging for it, it's ok I said, bring it please, food came and it was good but we were not at ease anymore, not only for the bread but because I think there was like 6 customers in the place and there was about 10 employees, service should be a lot better, a lot. so, to resume, a I have nicer place but not too good service, not an improvement in that. Been meaning to try this place for a while, came for a friend's birthday. Ambience isn't great. The parking tight. The decor a bit shabby, and the lighting poor. And the service was a bit lagging. The food, however, did impress. The complimentary bread with chimmichurri is great start. Had the Entrana (Skirt Steak). It came out quickly, and was generous. It could have been a bit more tender, but was very flavorful. I would opt for the mashed potatoes as the side. Best side of the ones I tried. For desert we had the dulce de leche pancake. Awful! Got delivery and spent well over $100 and no chimichurri after we confirmed with the restaurant that we wanted some extra ( so in Argentina, "extra" means zero!). Ordered a pasta thats supposed to come with shrimp and streak, got just pasta for $20. Restaurant doesnt realize that they just made pasta for 20 bucks with none of the jncluded meats. Love that. Called the restaurant to make it right, guess what they do...they just refunded the tip from the driver...thats the restaurant...Never order from here... Update, I just called back, they agreed to refund the entry. We went there to celebrate my birthday, I have to say this place is one of those that you know is not fancy but the food is delicious, We got the Argentinan Parrillada, It says is for two, but you can definitely feed 3 adults really good. The only thing would be the Side of rice seem to be too small for Sharing, But everything else was so. Good, I got a free desert with the yelp check in. The waiter was kind and friendly. This place was my go to, it has fallen off big time. The food is ok other than the lava cake which had zero "lava". The service is where this place has really fallen off, the waitress has failed to deliver every time I've gone. This last time we were seated and waited like 20 minutes before I had to ask for someone to attend us. Then no bread our main course came first then she brought our appetizer and bread. The drinks were good and the calamari was good too the lava cake was horrible and they didn't have coffee to make espresso. It's not worth dropping $160 for two people and receive horrible service. The hostess Samantha was very welcoming .To start off we began with the cocktail where we got the spicy Mami and tango margarita as well as the Argentinian empanadas we decided to get all 3 flavors which were beef , spinach and Montego cheese, and chicken . My favorite was the chicken empanada super flavorful and not greasy at all. Then we had the entraña which was at the perfect cooked medium , as well as the pollo relleno . The pollo relleno was amazing the flavors were just astonishing overall . You can really taste the spinach and the ratatouille . Marcela the matriarch and chef is a fantastic cook, she makes everything so delicious from the blood sausages that taste like butter to the steaks that are so juicy and tender. Ariel is the patriarch, he's very jovial and greeted us warmly. He has the greatest stories to share. First, we asked for a Lychee martini, we were served Coconut Lychee Martini so we asked them to take it back without touching it since we are both allergic to coconut. Got a calamari appetizer, it was not fresh and had an odd taste. Ordered 3 burgers well done, 2 were rare. My son ate almost half of his before noticing. A friend sent hers back and asked to be cooked more. The burger was brought out at the same time the check came. Some of Parrillada meat was not cooked fully which is dangerous considering the variation of meats (poultry, beef, and pork) now we are all sick with stomach pains and throwing up. Delicious!! My family and I are only in town for the weekend and I was craving steak. I walked in to see if there was a wait for the 4 of us on Saturday at 7pm, and the hostess asked if we had a reservation (no we didn't), and then told us to give her 5 minutes so she could clean a table that a family was leaving. Once sat, we were promptly greeted and had our drinks delivered quickly. I ordered the Hennessy passion fruit which was perfect (strong and fruity, but not too sweet). We shared the calamari and beef empanadas for appetizer, which were both great. I shared the ribeye steak with my daughter, which was a perfect medium rare, and my daughters loved the shrimp skewers, white rice, and fries. Just got back in from eating here and I want to leave the review while the experience is still fresh on the mind. I saw this place a few months ago as I drove by from Little Ferry. I took a pic and told myself I'd check it out. Well today was the day, and my only regret was that I waited a few months. It'll a small inconspicuous place and easy to miss. They have a private lot in the back that fits about a dozen cars. The smell of meat from someone's table hit as soon as we got in (a definite good sign.) We got the provoloneta appetizer, which was a cheese (I assume provolone) melting in a small cast iron skillet topped with tomato and parsley. Mild, creamy, with crispy burnt ends. Delish! Their chicken soup was also very good. We shared the parillada, which comes with chicken breast, skirt steak, beef short ribs, sweetbreads, chorizo, intestine ( be open minded. It's GOOD!), and blood sausage. You get two sides of your choice. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had panqueque de dulce de leche, which is a crepe with caramel served with ice cream and whipped cream. From start to finish every course was a success. We we're told that the wait would be anywhere from 45-50 minutes which would typically make me head for the exit, but the aroma of steak was too tempting. Delicious. We forgot it was BYOB, so we didn't stop to get some wine before we came. We'll remember next time. Mario, our waiter, was quick to respond to all our needs. When we kept asking him for water, he thought ahead, and placed a big pitcher with ice water in the center of the table. Thank you, Mario. We got one delicious freebee check-in offer from Yelp 'Panqueques de dulce de Leche' for dessert. Friends and I went here to enjoy some Argentinean food. We made a reservation on a Friday evening. We enjoyed the food and dessert - good portions and everything was tasty. Service was friendly and on point. The only disappointment of the evening was that we felt rushed. My friend was still eating and they started collecting plates. Shortly after the dessert menu arrived and then the check. Additionally when we were leaving, one of our cars got blocked in (their parking lot is tiny) and we had to go back inside the restaurant to locate the car that was blocking us in. If they resolve this issue that would be great! I will not go back for dinner, only for lunch when hopefully they are not as busy. My churrasco was seasoned well and juicy and I opted for a beet salad side which consisted of boiled beets and an egg. My man's rib eye on the other hand lacked seasoning and was overcooked. Wrapped his steak to go to repair for steak and eggs in the am and we split my churrasco. After the doorway incident, service was eager to please, friendly and attentive. Had dinner at now Tango Steak, the place has been completely remodeled and it looks nice compared to what it was before, congratulations on the new place. Where I really had an issue was with the new shrinking menu, no complementary bread or chimichurri sauce. We ordered the Parrillada for two and it was good, the morcilla was excellent and overall plenty to eat for two. I did not see in the menu most of the stuff they offered before but I guess it is what it is, but I have to hold the line on "no bread" policy, come on folks!!! read more

A few things to keep in mind before dining are that 1. Their parking lot isn't too big and neither is their venue, so smaller more intimate parties are probably ideal when dining here. 2. For you non-cash carriers.. complementary valet is offered, but I'm assuming it's only on weekends? (First time visit was a Sunday afternoon, where valet was offered and when we came on Wednesday, it was not) 3. It's best to come on an empty stomach, because their portion sizes are huge! 4. It's either tap water or $5 glass bottled water. Anyways.. I'm actually a little bit obsessed with this place.. Even before you enter just driving into their parking lot, you're greeted with the sweet, sweet scent of their BBQ, which is seriously mouth watering. I came here for the second time Wednesday night for dinner, and left with a meat baby growing inside of me. Let me tell you, this place does not skimp on the portion sizes. Me and my boyfriend got their skirt steak and rib eye to share, both dishes were cooked a beautiful medium rare and no complaints. They offer up two different chimichurris - classic and one with a bit of a kick, both are absolutely delicious and each entree came with a comp side, so we got salad and tostones. This hand downs was the biggest tostones I've ever seen, I'm talking about the size of a baby's head - 10/10 would recommend. Their staff is friendly, but for slow Wednesday night, I expected a bit of a faster response time. It is a heavy sandwich that is served on soft Italian bread, making for really rich bites every time. I got it with fries as on the menu but because Lomito is so rich, I would recommend substituting the fries out for another side that is lighter. Service - 4/5. The waiter was very friendly and offered bread even for someone ordering a lunch sandwich. Courteous, attentive and professional! Value - 5/5.
