I had a craving for meat and veggies. The meats were well seasoned. Enjoyed the large amount a greens available. The roasted Brussels sprouts are amazing! Roasted pineapple with cinnamon and sugar is a great way to end a good meal.

I must admit my husband and I were skeptical. The food and service were amazing. Wear loose pants because it's A LOT of food. Better yet, go in an empty stomach. It's no lie it's the best kept secret. The pineapple is to die for. They do not serve beer, wine or alcohol but you can bring your own and they do not charge a cork fee. We will definitely go again.

This is small, cozy environment -perfect for couples. The salad bar and the hot food bar had really good options. The menu consists of three options salad bar only, salad bar with chicken and kabobs or salad bar beef, lamb, & chicken. All of the meats are cooked on the grill and brought to the table and sliced in front of you. The sever was helpful and attentive. I chose to do the chicken and salad bar. I wished they'd had chicken breasts as an option instead of chicken legs.

These are selections from the salad bar! Absolutely Delish!

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

A prime location for a prime steakhouse. The service was strong as was the pacing. I found the server a bit too eager to explain the restaurant and the menu. I'm a ribeye eater so I had a pretty good idea I was getting a ribeye before I went in. I think the talking is used as a way to upsell and push guests towards opaquely priced off-menu "specials" which from my understanding are always on offer (such as their deviled eggs and bone marrow sauce). We started with the beef tartare and duck ravioli. I preferred the tartare, which had a nice spicy seasoning throughout. The duck ravioli had an excellent sauce on it, too. For our mains, I got the prime boneless ribeye ($68) and my brother got the prime strip ($56). We also shared the Yume A5 Wagyu experience ($225), letting us try three different cuts of Wagyu side by side. For sides (about $15/each), we did the fontina potatoes, truffle honey tots, and carrots. We also added the gulf prawns ($21), foie gras ($14), and bone marrow sauce (~$20) which was prepared table side and was plenty to share. It was very rich and peppery, though a bit of a salt bomb. For dessert, we shared the French toast bread pudding with maple butter ($14) which is one of my favorite bread puddings I've tried. They also brought my brother a dessert since it was his birthday, it was something like a raspberry mousse with coconut foam and a sharp raspberry sauce. Excellent. The Yume experience was a big motivation in coming here, as getting to try cuts of A5 Wagyu next to cuts of regular (albeit prime) beef is unique in the Memphis area and really for hours around. It was priced as an experience rather than a food item. It did not disappoint, nor did the prime steaks. The A5 is so unbelievably tender by comparison. My favorite was the ribeye, but I'm biased. My brother, normally a strip guy, agreed with me there. The potato sides were underwhelming, particularly for the price. I don't know how I let my brother talk me into buying him $15 tater tots for his birthday. I could get the carrots again, though. My total was $800 for the two of us for the above food, six cocktails, and tax and tip. A big chunk of that was the Yume experience as well as the drinks (we were celebrating!). If we were to go back, it would be closer to $350 for the two of us, and I would go for the prime ribeye with foie gras again, no need for Wagyu or sauce. I enjoy the sister restaurants in this restaurant group (Coastal Fish, Flight, Southern Social) and frankly I'd bet Porch is the cash cow of the group due to the relatively poor value proposition. We had a great experience exploring the finest steak and accompaniments one could wish for. But, for my money, Coastal does a pretty good steak too.

My husband ordered the cowboy ribeye, and it was amazingly good -- tender, flavorful, and cooked just the way he likes it. To top it off, he had the Southern green beans with ham hock, and those were seasoned perfectly with that slow‑cooked, down‑home taste. My sister‑in‑law ordered the lamb chops, and they were delicious as well -- tender, well‑seasoned, and cooked beautifully. I ordered the fried shrimp, and while they came out overcooked with too much breading, once I removed the breading I was able to enjoy them. The shrimp themselves had good flavor; they just needed a lighter hand in the fryer. The service, though, was superb from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and on point -- the kind of service that makes you feel taken care of. If we're ever in Memphis again, we will possibly visit again. The pistachio-crusted lamb chops were the standout--perfectly cooked with a rich, nutty crust that added both texture and flavor without overpowering the meat. Execution was on point. The ribeye? Cooked exactly as ordered--great sear, proper temperature, and finished with a buttery richness that speaks to a well-managed grill station. The wedge salad was solid--fresh, crisp, and balanced with the right amount of dressing and toppings. Now... let's talk about those carrots. Flavor was there, but the portion was diabolical--two small pieces on a plate at this price point just doesn't align with the rest of the experience. At least four would make it feel intentional rather than an afterthought. Service deserves recognition. Amy, our server, was clearly handling a busy section, but never let it show. She remained polite, professional, attentive, and still managed to exceed expectations--exactly what you want in a high-volume steakhouse environment. Final take: Great execution on proteins, solid service, but portion balance on sides needs attention. Still a place worth returning to.

Our waiter, Max, Mac (???) was 18 and therefore could not help with any adult beverage recommendations. Ordered the Butchers Bacon Rack (similar to Porch &Parlor but NOT), when asked, he could not tell us the difference in flavors, not a good experience to even know which we liked or did not. Perhaps this is a learning opportunity/retraining for the restaurant. He was not knowledgeable of the many things. It offers 1st job or owner's son type of job. The entree's were basic at best, the 20% gratuity for the service received did not align and restaurants do that on purpose. There isn't an incentive for waitstaff to offer above and beyond experiences. I had the Crab Stuffed Shrimp, I cannot recall anything memorable (see photo). One of the guest had Fried Green Tomatoes, those were yummy and the Calamari was tasty. The saxophonist was AMAZING, he brings a great background atmosphere unexpected than the food.
