Read the other reviews please. This company is a joke. Their website brags about superior service. Actually they have mo service. They sent a guy out yesterday morning to look at our dryer. He spoke a little english, told us we had a broken rotor and not to use the dryer. As he was leaving he told us tp call the office to get a price and date fpr a service call. My wife called and she was told she would get a call back by the end of the day. That didn't happen. I called and left a message and sent an email to the service department. Never heard back. So if you want to donate $90.00 to these clowns, schedule a service call. They can take apart your dryer and disappear. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS!!! read more

I'll let the facts speak for themselves regarding refrigerator repair service. Happy reading! 1. After contacting the retail company that the refrigerator was purchased at and is under warranty, it took Tanstel 3 days to send a repair rep to the house. Reason? Retailer stated they can't get anyone to answer the phone or call back. We experienced the same in that 3 day waiting period. 2. Service repair shows up only to be told he can't fix since it appears to be a compressor issue. That is a different person who does that work. He leaves. 3. 3 days and numerous phone calls later (again no answer, no return calls) another service rep shows up only to say, "Yep that is a compressor issue, will have to order the part." Leaves after 10 minutes. 4. 4 days later (again after numerous calls and no call backs) stated the part just got it. In checking, local appliance parts supplier carries those in stock. No need to wait 4 days. 5. Scheduled appt. between 8am-12pm. Call by service rep at 10am. "Be there in 10 minutes". An hour later shows up and replaces compressor. Noticing no cold air and inform rep it is not cooling. He stated that "it takes 2 hours". I stated that there should be immediate cool air flowing in. No comment from service rep. He the rep leaves vs. checking or verifying that it is working. 24 hours later, the temperature inside the refrigerator only reaches 47F. Freezer is even warmer (50+F) This is the coldest it gets and 3 days later back to ambient (room temp). 6. Retailer/warranty company agrees to full reimbursement but can't process as they have to verify repairs were attempted by Tanstel. This has been 5 days. Why? They can't reach them to verify. 7. Warranty company agrees to reimbursement. 10-15 days waiting on check for full amount. Total time from start to reimbursement without working refrigerator? 15 days. Review of Tanstel experience? I was struggling with my dryer and remembered that this company repaired our television 4 years ago and its still going great. Altough I read thier reviews I decided to give them another try. I'm glad I did! Jeremy came out at the time he said he would be here and took less than 30 mins to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately it was costly than I thought. but Jeremy called the office, they found my previous record and gave me a good discount. I was very pleased with the work and honesty he provided. Purchase Samsung refrigerator, 3/1/2016 THEY outsource Tech-Brandon (tansdel electronic 770 932 0333)..who was rude from beginning, he rang bell 5 times stared arguing..told him, don't come to my home disrespecting me, after checking him, he said extensive repairs, Error code 84 E, compressor gone and some other mechanism, need replacement.. Brought 40" LCD television in for repair. It sat for 10 days and was never looked at. I pick-up the television and brought it another authorized service center Golden-In-Home Service in Duluth on Meadowbrook Parkway. Within the hour it was checked out and the interior was cleaning and the working fine. read more

I wish there was an option for negative stars because that is what this company deserves. I place a call to have my Fridge repaired as it's covered under warranty. It takes them a week to call and follow up from when the original order was placed. When he calls he asks to reconfirm the stuff I told the first associate about.(This annoyed me) Then I was told that I would hear from someone in the next couple of days. Well days turned into weeks and here we are three weeks later and still no repair. I call to follow up on this service order call and was put on hold every time I called as if they were screening my calls. I call from a different number and magically they want to be helpful. This company is absolute trash and doesn't deserve to be in business. I'm not sure how they have customers but the lack of professionalism and lack of follow through will in essence destroy this business. I pray this is their last year in business. Alan that works for the company is the worst associate and is overly rude if you aren't willing to "Wait on hold". They decided they would call me on a Saturday in the morning and tell me they could be at my residence in 2 hours. Seriously people? That's not an appointment that sounds like a pop up visit. Where to start...This company came to us via Lowe's extended warranty. Initial contact was to schedule an appointment which we did. They called on the day of the appointment and said that they were going to just order the part we needed and would call to schedule a new appointment when the part was in. 1 week later, I received a call to schedule the appointment. The evening before, a technician texted me, saying that he needed to set up a time and that he was allergic and needed all pets put away and a smoke free environment. We agreed on a 4 hour window. He came 2 hours early and told me that if I couldn't be home then, that he would reschedule until next week. Next week, same routine again, only this time I couldn't be available for another 4 hour window. I had already done that twice. I gave him two time periods (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) that we could be available. He then became very unprofessional, telling me that wouldn't work. I worked on their schedule twice, they were on my time now, in my opinion. He finally agreed to the morning window (he was mad he was going to have to leave his home earlier to get to my location in the morning) and showed up with the wrong part and then told my husband that I was being argumentative and gave him the wrong part number. (A lie, because I didn't give him any part number, the office ordered that part) The tech was overall rude and unprofessional. I guess they count on Lowes and manufacturers to provide their service calls so they don't need to provide good customer service. read more

Forced to use Tanstel since we were told by Samsung that they are the only authorized Samsung repair service in the Atlanta area. Samsung tv purchased in July of 2016 lost the picture in November of 2016. Since it was still under the original warranty we were told to take it to Tanstel for repair which we did on11/12/16. We started calling them a few days later to check on the status - either no one answered, it went to voice mail with a recording that the mailbox for that number was full or their system was down and they could not access any info. This went on with daily phone attempts until 12/19 (5 weeks later) when we received a call saying the technician plugged in the tv and the panel was cracked; therefore, no warranty applied. When I explained that they had had the tv for 5 weeks with no communication and that we had brought in a broken but undamaged tv they said "take it up with Samsung". I politely refrained from asking when they had dropped it. It has now been 10+ weeks and we picked up our still unrepaired tv today since Samsung finally decided to do the right thing and replace the tv. If you are looking for a professional experience with a company that has some knowledge of customer service, this is not the place you want to go. read more

clowns aren't even a joke when it comes to no-customer support. i have tried for three (3) weeks now to have an ice maker repaired and keep getting the runaround on why the part hasn't been ordered. i would never call this outfit for any type of repairs. unfortunately, this outfit was a referral by lowes home improvement. a total, total, total joke - no one ever answers the phone, and then when they do - you can't even understand them - i'm surprised this outfit actually has a business license. read more
