I came in to get some stuff for a few dishes that I wanted to try to make at home but left feeling confused . I don't understand how the store is laid out and even though there was a good selection of items with my incapability of reading labels (not English) I had to take pictures to ensure if I was indeed buying the right thing . They have a variety of Eastern European treats and teas , plus a pharmacy section The deli counter had lots of meats and cheese but the packages sizes were too big for me to just buy out of curiosity . I eventually found out that they can slice it up for you if needed . The staff is very to the point and not very chatty . I did end up buying a few things but it took forever to get billed .

Lots of Ajver, a delicious pepper & eggplant spread

I have been shopping at the Roman Russian Deli on SE Division for years and was excited to find Tanya's because I'm in this part of Beaverton frequently. However the offerings pale in comparison. They don't offer the hot deli items like stuffed cabbage rolls or fresh pastries, blintz and blini. They do have a good selection of Eastern European pantry items - cabbage leaves, pickled veggies, sauerkraut, lots of Ajver (pepper & eggplant spread), fruit jams, and dried spaetzle and other noodles. Vast selection of black and other teas. Plus an assortment of packaged sweets and cookies and fresh breads. Also a variety of beers. For those who love pierogi and dumplings, you can buy bags of frozen or by the pound. Their deli counter has lots of meats and cheese that you can purchase and they make a few sandwiches daily, including the classic Reuben on dark rye. They had a counter with bakery cakes that were quite large and I wasn't sure how long they were sitting there so I didn't purchase a slice. If you need hard to find tea or pantry items, and deli meats and cheese it's worth a stop. Prices are definitely high. just know they don't have the prepared hot dishes.

I felt like a kid in candy store, great selection of Eastern European snacks, food, plenty of choices. My Ukrainian/Russian friends are regular there.

Their selection of ready-to-choices lacks that of the Russian place on SE Division. Stoic service, but maybe due to language barrier. It seems to have a decent selection of Russian/Eastern European grocery essentials. $1.79 for a so-so chicken/beef Piroshki is a good deal.

    Great variety of cakes

Great variety of Russian food. Lots of cake options that are fresh. There's also a ton of cheese sausages and canned goods

We got this today and look we got a rotten cake

I have bought a cake today and it smells wiered, when we slice the cake it has green spots. It was a rotten cake. Will check if I can post photo

Old, gross leaves on the rim of jar, some nastiness on the lid, and a big patch of mold in jar (the green junk above the label).

I gave a 2 star review before (hopefully that shows up as well) but now I'm back to downgrade because one of the two things I managed to buy there is unusable. I bought a jar of grape leaves a few weeks ago and hadn't opened them. I just went to make some dolmas out of them and as I picked it and took off the rubber band (holding paper on the lid) the lid just came right off. I immediately realized that these weren't properly sealed. I looked and there was mold and other grossness all over. Just take a peep at the picture I just took. Selling food like this is dangerous and in my opinion someone ought to hold this place accountable. Health inspectors inspect restaurants and hotels and food carts and bars, are they inspecting places like this?

An authentic experience. They have an interesting selection, Eastern European ambiance. No B.S. American fakeness.

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

Don't let the outside stop you from going in…read more Friendly service at the counter, place your order and pay. Find a seat (it's small and a bit crowded). Food comes to you pretty quick. We ordered 1/2 Chicago beef and 1/2 chicken parm. The bread is the winner! So crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Beef was a little dry for being in the au jus but still good, big chucks of chicken breast with flavorful sauce was also good. Will be back to try one of the cold sandwiches next.

The shop is located right after the Budget Rental Car building off of Canyon Road, you turn left going east into the parking lot as you pass the Budget building, the sandwich shop is right next to the hot tub shop on the left of the lot, ample parking is available. The interior has a few tables but seating is limited if you plan on eating in. The menu board is basic and to the point. You can create your own sandwich or select from the various options. A key fact, they only serve one size sandwich a 12 inch. I ordered the chicken with pepperjack cheese, hot peppers (they are hot), black olives, pickles and mayo (I will share that you might ask for a smaller spread of mayo if you are not a huge mayo fan), my son ordered the Supreme with steak, mayo, unions, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mushrooms and steak sauce on a soft white roll. The bread was amazingly soft and holds up well with all of the toppings. The sandwich taste was amazing, it took about 8 min or so to get our order but well worth the wait, they sandwiches were packed with toppings, nice and hot proteins, we also ordered fries with cheese dip, the french fry order was much larger than expected glad that we shared them, the cheese dip is also very tasty. We look forward to our next sandwich.

After grabbing a cheesesteak from East Coast Eddie's, I can definitely say I love them! You get service with a smile and quick too. I ordered the original with provolone, came with fries. The sandwich itself was sizable, lots and lots of meat, peppers, onions and melty cheese. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and tender with crispy edges. Yummers!! The pile of fries was enormous! I normally don't like thick cut fries. These were great --- fully cooked through with a good crunch outside and good potato flavor throughout. They appeared to be hand cut. Right amount of salt, not greasy. In fact, I took half home and air fried them for lunch the next day. Very little oil on the surface and crisped up nicely. Judging by the other reviews, Eddie's is apparently the real deal and high quality for a cheesesteak. All I know is this food was really good and reasonably priced.
