This place use a fresh ingredients and they will serve the food right after they cook it sooooo good. One of the best thai restaurant in west palm. So they use (fresh crab) in crab ragoon and and i never tried it on the other thai restaurant only here . Like literally fresh and cook as you order no frozen they dont serve frozen stuff here .

Nice little Spot! The food is fresh and flavorful! The lunch special is great and the price is greater! The service is amazing. They order your meal how you request it! Don Ramon and them share parking. One of my new favorite spots!

Free roll was okay. Thai Ice Tea was delicious!

Had a chance to stop by and try this place out with some friends.... it was a good choice! 1) Place was clean and welcoming. 2) Waitress was friendly and attentive. Thick accent so it was a little difficult to understand; however we ordered without any issues. 3) Food was delicious. Ordered the Duck Soup. It was pretty good. The Thai Ice Tea was refreshing. Overall I will return to this place and I recommend you give them a try for yourself.

Actually pleasant Thai experience. I'm not sure why it had not come up in my searches for Thai food before. Service is friendly and superb. It helps the place is small ish and well staffed. The food was excellent I had two soups and red curry. I personally like my curry a bit creamier with more coconut milk. This one actually worked very well too because it allowed me to go work out afterwards without snoozing @gym portions are great as are their prices. They charge well not cheap and bad and not expensive undervalue. Locations is great right on Dixie. Parking seems small but keep in mind plenty street parking. I missed getting dessert ... those portions were great! I will be back often their menu is ample and I have much more to try!

Very pleasantly surprise with this Thai restaurant. Many thai rest in this area offer sushi so was glad we found this one that only specializes in Thai food. Wattana is celebrating 30 years - so it was worth trying such a long standing restaurant. It is located in a corner of Dixie Hwy (Rt 1) on the south side of West Palm Beach. The restaurant itself is really modest, no frills - super friendly staff. We tried their Fresh Spring Rolls (for me - salad in a roll must have.) - also ordered the Bean Thread Noodles with Squid, Lad Na Noodles with gravy sauce, broccoli and squid, Chicken Panang Curry - All dishes were delicious. Generous portions especially the noodle dishes so you can share.

Great great great! Started with Thai tea, cucumbers, pork dumplings, and Tom kha soup- all came out very quick and very tasty! The soup had tons of flavor and was made to our spice level. We got the dumplings fried and they were super crunchy; some of the best we have had. Dinner we tried red curry and had sesame chicken... portions were large, and we have lunch for tomorrow. Sesame chicken wasn't too sweet and red curry again, one of the best we have had. Our serve was OUTSTANDING! He was funny and directed us to things he liked and then also more popular meals. We will defiantly be back.

Good flavor. Not just lame Anglo levels of spices. The pass-through window for takeout is unusual!

OK, so the poke tacos were not that bad but they don't do fried rice very well. I ventured here with some heffa that I don't even talk to anymore. But that's another story. The service was OK, they need to get their reservation system, right. I made reservations, but the heifer got there first. She said she used my name after they called me to inquire if I was still showing up. I had been there 45 minutes. The ambience is nice. It's dark. It was a Saturday. They were very busy. I'd return again well if they were open, but I would not be eating that again.

We only got drinks this time and we picked the lychee martini, yamazaki swinger, and the Lua Pele Scorpion Bowl. The vodka and the sake in the lychee martini didn't go to well or it was just a bad mix that day. But I was not a fan of the drink. The yamazaki swinger was very watered down and we barely tasted the whiskey. The Lua Pele Scorpion bowl wasn't much of a show and while the drink did taste good, it was mostly filled with decorations. It's supposed to serve 2-4 people but after we took all the decorations out and poured the drink into a cup, it was barely a full cup. I'll definitely give it a try again as I'm not sure how the food was and maybe it was just an off day for the bartender.

Once inside I noticed that the lighting was darker and the interior minimized. We were invited to sit anywhere so we chose a front window booth. The table only had one service setting so we had to borrow another from a neighboring table. We looked over the menus and made our choices from the Lunch Specials. I went with the Chicken Red Curry. My wife ordered a Shrimp dish. We noticed that the only person taking orders and serving would disappear into the kitchen for extended amounts of time. (The only one working?) Our food was finally brought out of the kitchen. My wife's Shrimp dish was absent of Shrimp, but had chicken instead so she sent it back. Meanwhile I ate my Luke warm red curry vegetables and rice with a few drabs of chicken meat. So sad to see the dramatic decline in what once was an A-1 Thai restaurant.

The restaurant has seen better days, it's a bit grim inside with everything showing some wear. We were directed to a booth and given lunch menus. There was one guy taking orders and serving. There was a large party of folks who worked near by seated at a long table and a couple other booths occupied when we came. It took long enough for him to take our order that we were debating whether or not to leave. Chicken vegetable soup comes with the entrees. We were each given hot soup. The vegetables were mainly cabbage and there were a couple pieces of chicken in it. The light broth, however, was good with little bits of fried garlic in it. My husband's chicken red curry was served on a flat plate. It came with white rice. He said it would have been better if it was a hotter temperature. I'd ordered cashew shrimp, but was delivered chicken. I'd corrected him when ordering, so I sent it back. The shrimp were good -- a half a dozen nice sized pieces. The dish also had a lot of cashews. The only downside? The rice was cold. I'm glad we tried them. Now we know.

For a split second, I thought maybe the place had been rented out for a private party we weren't invited to. But, trusting the good reviews, we decided to stay and risk it. Worst case? We'd get our food before the menus even hit the table. We started with the curry puffs--crispy, warm, nicely seasoned. Solid little bites, though not exactly the type of appetizer you dream about later like an old high school crush. My salad with peanut dressing followed, but the dressing was more watery than I'd like. Tasty, yes, but I like my peanut dressing to hug the lettuce, not run away from it. And then--boom--the Penang curry chicken arrived and stole the spotlight. This was the real deal. The flavors were rich and balanced, with that "made from scratch" depth you can't fake. I asked for mine spicy and they nailed it--just the right amount of heat to make me sweat a little but still want to keep eating. And, I like it hot! Mission accomplished without losing flavor!! My wife went mild, and hers looked like it had been painted in softer pastels while mine was done in neon flames. Same dish, two totally different personalities. The owner came by to chat, and she was a delight. Turns out they grow their own peppers and make all their curries from scratch. Suddenly, it all made sense--the freshness, the layered flavors, the fact that my taste buds felt like they were on a guided tour of Thailand instead of eating reheated sauce from a jar. So yes, the restaurant was empty when we walked in. But this isn't a ghost town--it's a hidden gem. A 30 years in business hidden gem. Next time, I'm bringing more people along, partly for the company and partly so I don't feel like I accidentally booked a private dining experience.

It's a small restaurant but very cozy. Amy, the server was very nice. When I arrived there were a few people eating. The one thing I actually found annoying was the man at the table behind me was on his phone speaking loudly the entire time I was there. He finished dinner maybe moments before I did. I would've appreciated had Amy told him you know not to be on the phone like that while people were eating. It was very very disturbing. Another thing I didn't really like was that they didn't give you a salad or something with your dinner. Most Thai restaurants either give you soup or a salad with your dinner. Now onto the food. The food was delicious. I started with the shrimp a blanket and for dinner I had pad siew. I'm probably not spelling it correctly, but it was very tasty. The portion of noodles was quite large. I got the combination version that's supposed to come with shrimp chicken and beef. There were only two shrimp in my dish which I was not happy about. Overall, it was a good experience. Yes it would've been better if I didn't have a loud man screaming into a phone behind me through the whole meal. And yes, I would've probably enjoyed a salad before my dinner. But overall, it was a good experience and I probably would return.

The Pad Thai was a complete mess -- soggy, clumped noodles with no balance of flavor. There was no proper tang, no depth, and no freshness. It tasted flat, heavy, and greasy. Medium spicy was nonexistent -- there was zero heat and zero character. The steamed chicken was the worst part. It was pale, rubbery, and had an unpleasant smell and texture. "Steamed" should mean clean, moist, and simple -- this was none of those things. It tasted old and unappetizing, and I couldn't eat more than a bite. For a dish that's a Thai staple, this was shockingly bad. Pad Thai is not complicated -- when it's done right, it's comforting and balanced. This was bland, greasy, and poorly prepared.
