We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. There was plenty to look at, and the time passed quickly. Taos has many wonderful mom and pop restaurants, but from what I learned during our visit, there are fewer locally owned restaurants serving traditional Spanish cuisine. In fact, they fed everyone there. It was an act of generosity I promised to repay when things reopened. Since then, I've been back many times--and I've loved everything I've tried. The food and drinks are consistently excellent. Yes, it can be a little pricey, but it's absolutely worth it for the quality and care they put into every order. I wholeheartedly recommend KOKO's.
