The drinks here are always to die for. I recommend the prickly pear margarita. I love the salmon tostones and the oven baked shrimp Mac and Cheese. If you're looking for something on the healthier side you should get the chicken lettuce wraps for dinner it is a large portion and very delicious. I never thought I'd give a chain restaurant 5 , but here it is. Simply put, an all around excellent experience. Our server Diana was ama ing. Her demeanor was welcoming and relaxing. Just what one needs after a long stress-filled workday. She gave us excellent suggestions regarding our choices and then knocked it out of the park for my fiancé, when she told us about the desserts. We were both craving a good, hearty, fresh salad and that's what we got with the exception that they were not good, they were excellent! I jus had to write an update because this place just keeps getting better and better! I hosted a birthday party with 35 people and the service was INCREDIBLE!!!! We were able to get a reasonable amount of separate checks, the food was awesome, the unlimited drinks were, well, UNLIMITED, and the DJ had us dancing for 3.5 hours. My feel were swollen by the end of the day! Our servers Jay and Naz were soooo good! They interacted with us, had fun, and made us feel welcome without missing a beat. I would like to try maybe a few other dishes to have a better opinion. I did not like the "chicken lettuce wraps" at all, it was basically chicken in soy souce and maybe teriyaki (nothing special) i've had better lettuce wraps at yardhouse and even cheesecake factory. It's missing a tangy flavor o something to make it unique. My boyfriend had the "Chicago style steak and eggs" - now he said that was AMAZING that it was 100% worth it and would love to keep coming back and getting that order again. So as you notice, we have different opinions here. I did enjoy the "Spinach and Artichoke dip" we ordered that as an appetizer with the Bottomless mimosas. The bottomless mimosas must have had the cheapest alcohol every, I felt sick the entire rest of the day and I didn't even have that many. I'd give the place maybe a 2.5 stars out if 5. First time here for an late lunch early dinner. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted. Our party of 3 opted to sit inside. The music was loud and bumping it was almost like a club atmosphere, the restaurant was definitely lively. The bar was huge and there were tvs situated around the restaurant for you viewing pleasure. Our server immediately came over and introduced himself. We started off with a smoked apple old fashioned, and 2 margaritas one of which was spicy. For an appetizer we had the chicken lettuce wraps and they were delicious a definite 10. From there we ordered steak with the chimichurri, a burger and fries, and bbq chicken with a side of truffle Mac and cheese. The food was delicious and nice portion for the money. If you're looking for a decent brunch spot with very loud music, this is the place! Visited for Sunday brunch and arrived right as they opened, since I didn't have reservations. I was quickly seated at a high top table. While the service was great, the food was mediocre. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it wasn't even hot. I do recommend making reservations as there was a long line forming as soon as they opened. The DJ played a variety of music - hip hop, R&B, reggaeton, Reggae, which was great but the music is loud. Don't count on having a conversation with people at your table. Parking lot (free of charge) will fill up quickly, as Valet takes up most of the spots. read more

I was excited to see this coming to the neighborhood. I love the Merrick Village and Midtown locations. The is a great space that was very large. Came in for lunch, got a table quickly and the servers were attentive. As it was a work lunch I could only grab food- no cold ones. I had the chicken avocado salad- it was very yummy. We had a great time, the music is good (pretty loud if you don't like that) Our waitress was very nice and recommending different drinks for us to get. You can tell a lot of young people work there. We got the chips and guacamole to start it was really yummy. I got the chicken bowl, it was good the rice was a bit over cooked, everyone liked their food. I had a bite of the chicken and waffles and they were really yummy. I think this place is good for brunch or a few drinks and appetizers. Great vibe here! The music had everyone dancing in their chairs! My friend and I got the Blueberry Margarita and the Strawberry Kush. Both were delicious but if you lean more towards sweet like I do I would go for the Strawberry Kush first. Honestly my only complaint is that the food took a pretty long time to come. I ordered the Prohibition ( a burger) and I asked for medium. I like rare meat so I was fine but my friend definitely was taken aback by how pink it was. Oh the artichoke spinach dip is a must! Parking is a bit of a mission, but you also have the option to valet so that's great. We had a large party, so we sat outside in the patio. The view was nice. There is a small lake in the back with a bridge going over it. The service we received was great. Our server was a sweetheart. The food was yummy and the presentation was nice and neat. I strongly recommend the sweet potato fries. I forgot to take a picture, but they were delicious and came with this sweet dipping sauce that was the perfect touch to the fries. The crispy calamari was soggy and too thick for my liking. Their cajun french fries are very delicious! The wagyu pasta was good but looks much better than it tastes. Everything looked very presentable and tasted pretty alright. I like how diverse their menu is. My only concerns are that it looks much better than it tastes, but it was still pretty good. We got there at 7:15 were told 15 min wait and 30 minutes I we asked about the table they said it was being cleaned and then 30 minutes after that were told again the table was being cleaned. When we asked to speak to the manager was when we were finally taken to our table. Management really needs to review who they have working as hostess. read more

I'm a big fan of Tap 42. I've been to several of them and the food, drinks, and ambiance is good. They just opened their newest location in Kendall and with all new things it has been busy. If you come on the weekend expect to wait 1-2 hours. Not their fault, a Tap 42 was very needed in Kendall. The decor inside is dark as all Tap's are but it is very well done. They are in the old Cadillac Ranch spot but are a much better option. Our server was nice. Made a good drink recommendation, the don't be a prick margarita, that has a basil salt rim! OMG that salt is so delicious. And took our order. We sat outside which has a great view of the water. There was only one bartender, doing the best that she good but it took a little bit for our drinks to come out. The appetizer (guac) came out pretty quick. I know they just opened and are working out the kinks so that is the reason for my 4 star review. The guac was good but the other ones we've had have been better. The sliders and fries you really can't do wrong with but it seems instead of the Dijonaise, the used some type of bbq sauce. Still good but not like the other ones. The Mac and cheese is good. It comes in a portion but enough for at least 2-3 to split. It's really large. We always substitute chicken for the shrimp because my wife doesn't like shrimp. But we're unaware of a chicken option. Again I'm sure working out the kinks. Overall I know TAP will do great here. They have a great location and the food, drinks, and ambiance is excellent. Once they work out the starting kinks, and have shorter wait times I'm sure I will give them but don't miss out on giving me then a shot. read more

I love this area, super cute vibes and will def be back in Doral City place whenever we're in Miami! This place had a live DJ, it was Sat night and the DJ was there until 9 or 10pm. He played good music but the volume was a tad bit loud and we ended up screaming at each other. We also had kids with us who weren't happy with the loud music, there were other kids in that place too. Vibe was welcoming and our waitress was very friendly! I barely ever order beef or chicken I always go for seafood but saw this wagyu beef with Lomein and looked interesting and it was DELICIOUS! The beef was tender and went very well with the lomein and sauce they had! It just all went so well together and super filling! Others in my party got chicken with cilantro rice, rice alone was yummy! Steak burgers, Mac and cheese and chicken! But I'd have to say the wagyu beef with lomein was the best of them all and partially why I gave 4 stars ;-) read more

The bartenders don't really engage in any conversation albeit they are friendly, I expected a bit more convo at the bar since it was pretty dead to begin with. Tap 42 is a restaurant I truly enjoy going to. The food and drinks are great and spot on with taste, flavor and presentation. Parking is not the greatest and you'll go around a few times in the hopes someone leaves. If not, you can find parking spot on other side of mall and walk. There is valet parking available, but I believe the Chef Adrienne's restaurant has contracted this valet company - even some front parking spots in front of Tap 42. We came to Tap 42 has they have gluten free food options that I needed for my 7 year old son. I am rating Tap 42 with 4 stars because the music is just too loud. Our party of 7 sat in the back round tables on a Saturday night. I felt I was eating in a club. Even my 7 year old son kept covering his ears and couldn't wait to leave. In fact, I saw a sign outside the door that read, brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. And because I enjoy the food and had great service in the past, I was considering reserving for a party of 15-20 with open menu for brunch. My concern is the loud music as if we are in a club. I asked our waitress last night and she said that for brunch, it gets louder with a DJ and she doesn't recommend it. I thought to myself, spending money on a DJ every weekend can easily cost over $1K and doesn't seem necessary cost efficient to me. I can assure you people don't go there because of the "club vibe". Even my first time friends enjoyed the food, but thought the music was way too loud. Aside from the loud music, I will comment on the restroom as I had to step in a few times to take my kids. The restrooms could be cleaner. It's very dark in the restrooms with black toilet seats and low blue lighting. I doubt the restrooms are cleaned as often as they should be as there is toilet paper all over the floor and wet floors and not by water. read more

Great Food, service was acceptable just be advised there will be loud music and a DJ. It will be incredibly loud so you cannot have any conversations. Just smile, eat your food, maybe dance in your chair or sit quietly and enjoy. It's not for everyone or perhaps just know this ahead of time that way your not surprised. Maybe talk conversate after you leave or before you arrive. It's basically Dance club levels of volume. Hand gestures or sign language really pays off and you may have to point to things on the menu or type it on your phone for your server. Again no possible way of communicating.
