This was our first visit to the new brewery. They're part of the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour. It was a real treat visiting the place. Arrive and you can sit inside, bar or outside. Plenty of space to sit anywhere. They have some of their beers on tap. In addition to visitors brews and cider is available. The spice pumpkin beer was amazing. Might be our new favorite. The food was remarkable as well. Slam dunk and want to come back here. Recommend this place good food and great drinks.

Good food and they brew their own beer. The Fall Harvest is excellent. Locally owned. Plenty of parking.

When you walk in, the main entrance is where you do the tastings at. I walked around and didn't see anything at first. However Dave greeted us. He was super friendly. It was nice to learn the location in Mt. Pleasant is where it all started at. That place is not the best brewery area to hang out at. However if you're going for beer it's a good choice. All of the beers were good. My favorite was Idle Hands. A double IPA, I'm not an IPA guy but two of the breweries I've visited have been my favorites. We ended up walking away with 2 cases of beer. That's a first for us. I paid $85 for two cases. That's a first for me as well.

Have been here a couple times before, and visited the Pittsburgh location, so understood the quality of the beer - good selection and most beers are medium/high ranked. Price is pretty fair, given the location. My only concern about the visit was that there was a small outdoor tent/booth selling the same beer for an additional $4 per cup, which is extreme for the area and kind of confusing. You can walk to the interior behind the stage and get the same (as well as more variety) beer for $4-5 less? Unsure whether the lady charged me more than intended but it seemed like a gouge. Be aware of that....it was kind of a bummer.

It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

Skip to the end to see my rating scale…read more Yough River Brewing hits the three things I look for in a brewery - food availability, outdoor seating/dog friendly, and of course the beer. Went here after golfing with a buddy and had a solid IPA and a pretty good Oktoberfest. The variety available is good enough that most people should be able to find something they like. A really nice outdoor seating area with a couple of fire tables and Adirondack chairs makes it comfortable and inviting. I happened to be there on a Sunday afternoon and I think a football game was going on or just ended because there were a bunch of unsupervised kids running around the tables. Not that they were over the top obnoxious, but they were definitely distracting. Other than the timing, I enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the beers were good enough that I'd gladly make the 40 minute drive down again. 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Bella Terra Vineyards is a winery, restaurant, and event venue in the small town of Hunker in…read moreWestmoreland County. It sells a variety of dry and sweet wines (e.g., red, white, rose, sparkling, and cider), cocktails, mocktails, and beers. Some vineyards are on the grounds as are many barrels and bottles of wines. The restaurant has both indoor seating and seasonal outdoor seating in lakeside cabanas and winter igloos. It is open for brunch/lunch and dinner. It is a nice setting for daily dining as well as special events such as weddings, bridal and baby showers, and private parties. Furthermore, the website lists activities such as bingo, painting and candle-making classes, live music with dancing, and more. For my husband and me, I made a reservation for lunch in an igloo. Our igloo was large enough to fit eight people and cost $50 plus foods and drinks. A larger "party dome" fits up to 14 people and has a fee of $75. The temperatures outside were very cold, but our igloo was kept warm by an electric fireplace and a zippered door. Throughout our meal, our waitress provided timely and friendly service. The Bistro menu listed shareables (e.g., pretzel sticks and charcuterie board), several smash burgers, several flatbreads, mains (e.g., fish and chips, cajun chicken pasta, and quinoa bowl), several salads, several handhelds (e.g., turkey melt, veggie wrap, and Italian panini), many sides, and a couple of desserts. Prices were moderate. (The menus for Sunday Brunch and a group Gathering differ.) The waitress first brought our Sweet Wine-Cookie Flight (4.5 stars), which consisted of the following pairs: Diamond Reo with Brown Sugar Pop Tart, Sweet Finley with Chocolate Salted Caramel, Riesling with Cookies and Cream, and Rose Cider with Strawberry Crunch. The wine glasses came in a wooden box, which was slightly too small, so I needed several minutes of time to carefully pull each wine glass out of the box. I, however, did enjoy the sweet flavors of the wines and cookies. Next our waitress brought out our shareable and two mains. The Hummus Plate (4.5 stars) consisted of fresh and tasty hummus, feta, olives, top seedz crackers, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers, carrots, celery, and tzatziki. My main course was Crab Cakes (4 stars) with a substituted side of salad. Two crab cakes were a decent size of 4 ounces each, but I would have preferred more crab meat. I liked the garlic aioli. My husband's main course was the Cali Burger (4 stars) with a side of fries. In a brioche bun, a beef patty was topped with fontina cheese, applewood-smoked bacon (which he would prefer be crispier), avocado, avocado ranch, lettuce, and pickles (which he commented were nicely crunchy and sweet-sour) (no tomato at his request). The total price for the flight, shareable, two mains, and a soda was $98 plus sales tax and tip (plus the earlier $50 fee for the igloo).

The previous location, you sampled and took a 4 pack with you on your way. They previously did have outside seating. The new places is unbelievable in size, depth and age which I like old buildings. Appears to perhaps been a bank in the past. The staff is super friendly and helpful, believe dad and daughter run the brewery. The bathrooms for the men was unique, probably best that I've seen for urinals and sinks. Memes on the wall which adds an extra cleverness to it. Then to top it off the beers were good. I liked the hazy, but oddly the French Toast Lager was my favorite. Those types of beers aren't my go to but this had such a delicate but fruitful taste to it. Got a 4 pack to go. This was a good stop, I'm sorry it took us 3 years to return.
