Right in Blacow and Grimmer, same plaza as Walgreens
    Jay P.

Located in the Walgreens parking lot on Blacow and Grimmer. If you are turning in from Stevenson the dirt road after the curb has a huge dip and it's better to just drive in closer to the donut and liquor shops. You order at the grill and and they reheat it on the flattop or slice it fresh from the spit. Like other places like this, the smell will attract you from far and at night the burner lights up like a fireball. After you order yo ucan help yourselves to limes, cilantro, onions and salsa. They only had small plastic cups when I went and if that happens to you best fill up the takeout bag instead with onions and cilantro. Al Pastor: It's so hard eating normal Al Pastor after having it like this. The fat drips down and keep it all tender and moist, the thinly cut pieces are tender and have crispy bits from the burner. A must have. Carne Asada: This also had a distinct grill taste, its heat up on the flattop so it must be from the pre-prep they did. Great tasting once fully loaded with toppings.

Tried out this place for dinner carryout and got their tacos with asada, pastor, and pollo meat, along with a horchata drink that was pretty large. Self-serve onions/cilantro/salsa. Food is prepared fresh to order and was good, but a bit pricey i.e. $4 per taco. The menu is on the sign behind the food, but didn't seem to have any prices so you have to ask the staff for prices for everything - they should add for visibility. They're located at the corner of Walgreens near the traffic light intersection - easy access and parking.

One of the few spots open late so decided to stop by following a movie. Really easy to park and walk up and order. Their orange sauce is good but beware it may be really spicy for those not used to it. Tripas taco (5/5): So good. The texture is a bit sandy but the taste makes up for it. Tip: ask them to put it on the griddle to make it more crispier/crunchier. So delicious. Pastor taco (4/5): good flavour. The meat is really tender, but a bit dry - likely from continuous roasting. Pastor burrito 4/5: Good but nothing to write home about. Solid burrito for whats available in Fremont though.

Shitty service and very unprofessional. Not worth the wait. Felt very uncomfortable. I will no longer purchase from them.

Probably one of the Best taco spots in Fremont, Hidden gem for sure! Located in a huge empty parking lot. Definitely coming back for more!

By FAR, THE BEST was Larry's Smokin' BBQ. The ribs were amazing and then the tri-tip, chicken, beans and Amazing Mac N Cheese. Larry's BBQ smoker is the most amazing one I have ever seen on wheels and I would certainly call him to cater an event.

I ran a corn hole…read moretournament in Sausalito with about 130 people and wanted to provide some food for the participants since there would be a fair amount of beer drinking going on. Larry was referred to me by a friend and I'm so happy I called him. Larry was genuinely excited to do my event, got back to me very quickly when after I called and was extremely easy to work with. He was proactive in asking what kind of paperwork needed to be completed for the city and took it upon himself to make sure there weren't any other licenses required. On the day of the event, he arrived on time to set up, was ready to go when the event started and was completely self sufficient. As someone planning an event with many other things to think about and do, this was fantastic. While using someone who is easy to work with is important, it really comes down to the food. Let me tell you, the food was incredible! I can't tell you how many people at my event told me how good the food was and how happy they were to have Larry's Smokin BBQ as an option. Food has been a challenge at my event in the past so this year was easily the best. I had the tri-tip sandwich and it was truly one of the best I've ever had. Also tasted the chicken and it was incredible. If you're planning a party or event, you can't go wrong with Larry's Smokin BBQ. Easy to work with and top notch food. What more can you ask for!

The absolute worse service experience I've experienced in my life. I saw their stand at the Santa…read moreClara Night Market, and they were EXTREMELY disorganized with their cooking and order fulfillment. There were 3 people working; one to handle the orders, one cooking, and the last person, who was doing nothing really, just walking around between the register and the grill. 1. After ordering, we got our order ticket, but they weren't keeping track of which order belonged to which customer 2. They put meat on the grill that customers weren't even ordering, so they had an excess of one specific meat and not enough of the others 3. When any of the skewers were ready, the cook put them ALL in the same serving tray, and they all looked alike and therefore couldn't tell them apart. Some customers were worried about getting the wrong meat due to allergies 4. When they were fulfilling orders, they called the name of the meat, as opposed to the ticket number. Multiple people who ordered the same meat and therefore the staff didn't know who to give the meat to first. The customers had to prove it amongst themselves which number came first. At the same time, the staff was looking at the ticket numbers as the customers came up for their food. But there was no way the staff remembered what number they had left off at because nothing was documented! 5. When other skewers were done and placed in the serving tray, the cashier was on her phone, not hurrying to fulfill orders. I complained and said angrily "can you please fulfill that order" 6. I waited for my food for 30-40 min after asking if my meat (chicken) was placed on the grill (Another customer had taken my order the ONE other time chicken was placed on the grill). They insisted they did, but no chicken ever came out in 20 min. By the time one order finally did, the staff called out chicken, another gentleman moved up to claim he ordered chicken. I managed to catch that his ticket number was after mine, so I exclaimed this, and that gentleman politely let me have the order. After getting my skewers, I told the cashier, you guys better get your $h!t together because you have a ton of angry customers, and this is the worst service I ever had. How was the food? Luckily, it wasn't bad. It doesn't matter because I will never buy from them again. It was was though they started their first food business yesterday. Unbelievable!!!!

Starting off by saying that the food was great, especially the chicken cartilages! I loved how they were not too peppery, but that the right amount of smokey taste to it. And, prices were reasonable: 10 dollars for three skewers. The chicken cartilages were so good, I got it twice. What really brought this rating down was the service and efficiency. The second time I waited for my skewers, I waited for MORE than 30 mins. Can you believe that! I was standing there, seeing the lamb and beef come out of the grill but still no chicken cartilages. I saw people who were way behind me in the ordering line get their order before I did. I checked in with a staff member around three times, but they only told me one thing "chicken, not ready" and brushed me away, talking to another customer. After 30 mins, I decided to walk around the area instead of standing and waiting, and when I came back, the chicken cartilages were finally done, but there were only two left. So, they gave me two chicken cartilages and one beef skewer. Can you believe that! I guess I can also take the blame, maybe I should have stood in front of the stand for 50 MINS instead of walking around while waiting for my order. But does that sound reasonable to you?
