Which is my commentary on a lava bowl filled with Octopus, Steak, Bacon Wrapped Prawns, Fried Cotija Cheese, a large pepper, a nice slab of Tilapia and Snow Crab Legs. The tacos were the best out of everything we ordered. They had good flavor and the salsa that came with it was good type of spicy. The tostada de ceviche was delicious. We got it for my daughter without chile so it wasn't too spicy for her. The caldo de camarón was alright. I've had better and was missing the carrots. Absolutely the worse experience in history. First of all it says happy hour margaritas from 3 to 6. We've came here often and get the margaritas and it's always been the advertised price. Suddenly we order them today and when it's time to pay they say there isn't an happy hour anymore even though they advertise it. Then on top of that when ordered the margaritas the server brought the wrong one several times. She even brought a water with tahin around the rim instead of a watermelon margarita. Not to mention the disgusting carne asada fries. Seems like they soaked the fries in months old oil. Absolutely disgusting and they don't even attempt to right any of the wrongs. So rude it was a disgusting experience I guess I see why we were the only customers. Needless to say lesson learned. Never again. I wish I could give a negative 10 stars. read more

We always come here for lunch after going to smith family farm pumpkin patch. We always call ahead since we're a large group 8-10 people and our big table is always ready for us to get our grub on. I just wish it was closer to home because the service is always top notch and we love their food. For starters, the house made tortilla chips and salsa is enough to keep us coming back! The meats are flavorful and cooked just right. Our kids favorite is the Cameron's en Ranchera sauce, mine is the Molcajete and my wife's is the super burrito of which half comes home for me to munch on later! lol. What sets them apart tho is the rice beans. Simple but sumptuous. Both having just the right amount of spice and salt and the beans have such a nice silky texture to them. Dang it! Ordered super nachos with carne asada but problem the asada resembled what you scrape off the grill when they clean. Asada/meat substance was barely noticeable to the eye and non existent in taste. We brought it up to waitress and she admitted that others have had similar complaints but cook doesn't care what people say and walked away. The food was really good. The salsa verde salsa was to acidic for my taste buds. The customer service was excellent and apparently they only serve tequila on the weekends but the had a great selection of beer. The chicken enchiladas were bomb and the carnitas in my burrito was crispy and flavorful. My friends enjoyed they food as well. Me and my dad decided to come bring my mom here for Mother's Day yesterday worst decision ever. First we had to wait almost thirty minutes to get a table and to be fair very understandable everywhere is busy. After waiting and got sat we were told it would be another 20 minutes to get our menus. The waiter looked annoyed and honestly had no patience . She told us we could get our drinks while waiting for the menu and my mom and dad got aguas frescas . Those were good. After what felt like forever we got the menu . My mom wanted a morcajete and there was 4 options my mom decided to get the cielo mar y Tierra one and even pointed to which one she wanted . The waiter re asked and my mom again pointed to which she wanted. My dad got a Coctel de camarón . When the food was brought out they gave my mom the molcajete de mariscos and MIND YOU my mom is hates crab, octopus and anything seafood besides shrimp . She told the waiter that isn't what she ordered and the waiter gave her so much attitude and told her that' was her fault because that's what she ordered . And to top it off she said if she took it back aside from already almost waiting one hour and 30 mins through this whole disaster she said it would take an additional 45 to bring the correct plate out . We are relatively new to the Brentwood area and still on the lookout for restaurants to replace the favorites from our old neighborhood. We had dinner here the other night and found the food to be good. The fish taco's with Tilapia were a bit bland, but the Cameron's al la Plancha were quite good and plentiful (an even dozen medium sized shrimp) Prices were reasonable, but the atmosphere was a bit loud with multiple tv screens playing different topics (a Banda Video on one, News on another, etc) Lighting was also an issue in the area where we sat - we needed to use our phones to see the menus. The other issue was the apparent lack of hard liquor on a weeknight. We could get beer, which I did and it was plenty cold. But no margarita (only a mimosa) available. And when we asked about white wine the waitress brought us glasses filled with what looked like Rose, and it was NOT chilled. When tasted we realized it WAS white wine that had gone bad from sitting open to long. So don't expect wine with your meal at this establishment. I am so completely annoyed by my experience at this restaurant. We are trying to support local businesses but then when you do that sometimes it doesn't work. We went to Cielo Mar Tierra and the woman at the counter took our order. I wanted the nachos that in the picture on the menu showed a large helping of sour cream, guacamole and pico de Gallo on top of beans and cheese and then nachos. We got take-out obviously because of the corona virus issue. We waited a decent amount of time considering there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. We took our bags and left. My daughter got and enjoyed rice and a bean and cheese burrito. I opened my nachos and was appalled. There were two micro slices of avocado and literally a half teaspoon of a mush that must of been guacamole as you will see in the picture. I tried to just deal with it but I couldn't so I went back and said,"Where is my guacamole as pictured on the menu?" The person told me they were out of guacamole. Well, I think that they should have said that in the first place! I wouldn't have ordered it. Basically, I spent $10 on chips, cheese and beans because I did not get sour cream. I thought I knew all the Mexican restaurants in town. This one was new to me. My brother recommended it at Thanskgiving so we gave it try. The gentleman at the front was great and informative about the menu as we placed our take out order. Since my brother recommended burritos we ordered one asada and one berria. We tend to favor tacos so we order those too. I cannot remember the meat choice, it was seasoned beef that started with an A (not asada). In any case, the burritos had a generous amount of meat along with a good balance of other ingredients. The tacos were seasoned deliciously. Prices are similar to other places, service was top notch. This place ranks in our top 3 choices now for local Mexican food. read more
