    Nachos with Meat
    Tamara T.

Finally got around to trying this place and it was for late night eats. Came back home from a concert and was craving nachos and Taqueria de Anda was the closest spot that had them. I ordered carne asada nachos and added guacamole. The nachos were packed with meat. I barely saw any shredded cheese on it and couldn't really taste it either. I wish they covered the top in cheese but I didn't see any. They gave me one red and one green salsa and 2 lemon slices. Overall, for late night eats it's good, but if Navarro's was open, I'd probably go there for a little bit better nachos. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered via their website and picked it up in the drive-thru. Definitely a go-to since they are open 24 hours.

The chorizo breakfast burrito here was dripping with so much oil that it was hard to eat without making an oily mess. Their salsa is good, but after eating here, my stomach hurt.

It's a decent taco. Its not the best, but it tastes exactly how it looks. LOL. I ordered Carne asada tacos. It was wrapped in foil, no plate. The meat itself doesnt really have much flavor but its the sauce and toppings is what made it good. It is packed with meat, which i was actually very surprised. Current price is $2.50/each plus $.50 more for certain protein i guess. So I paid $3/each tacos. Seems kinda pricey orrrrr...... is this the new norm for tacos these days? I also ordered Jamaica drink. Its also standard...it's good. Nonetheless ill buy again. Its convenient simply because there's a drive thru.

I'm not feeling well today and was craving some comfort foods. I decided to try Taqueria De Anda to see if this place could hit the spot for my cravings. I wanted something greasy and cheesy. lol The food was decent. Did it satisfy the cheesy / greasy craving I was hoping for? Not really. I was hoping for more of both to be honest lol But the food was edible. Just didn't wow me or taste like something I would need to eat again. 1x Cheese Quesadilla $5.00 1x Rice & Beans Burrito Extra Cheese No Salsa NO - Onions & Cilantro $8.25 1x Chips $2.50 Subtotal $15.75 Delivery Fee $1.99 Service Fee $3.00 Total $21.57 Payment $21.57 12/15/23

I haven't been to this place in a while because last time my experience was rough, sad to say but this time it was worst. I ordered 6 tacos (street size tacos) and paid $18 plus. The tacos were packed with onion cubes and little protein. This taqueria lacks of service and quality. Al pastor tacos were full of taste, I do recommend if you choose to give them a shot.

4am burnt, boring, and dry carne asada tacos.

I eat here mostly everyday because it's so good. Lately it hasn't been good during the night time. I highly recommend going to different taco spot during night and coming here during the daytime. The cook and service in the morning shift makes better food than night shift because night shift they give out super old side, food tastes boring, dry, burnt, and they always forget something in my food. I'm always eating here but after today I will no longer eat here.

Just okay. I was looking forward to something amazing for Taco Tuesday and loved that this place has secret family recipe salsas. The Al pastor seemed kinda dry compared to my favorite place in Pico Rivera. My son said his carne asada tacos were dry too. Forgot to get a picture of the food so here's the wall.

    Chorizo tacos

Chorizo tacos are good! Staff works well together. Nice mom and pops place. But also on u er eats. So take out is good. Music is good and the employees sign knowing the enjoy being there. They have a drive through also! The food was very fresh and they overfilled my tacos so I needed a fork lol

Taqueria de Anda I have been going to this original Taqueria de Anda since the 90's. I did not live close but made the drive several time during late night munchie runs while doing school projects. We've introduced this spot to many friends and they have since opened a handful of new locations. We have been to other locations, but this location is a favorite. This visit, I had the pleasure of sharing this location with my nephew who started at CSU Fullerton this semester. After all these years, everything but the decor for dine in is all still the same. Food is as I always remember, finely chopped carne asada, onions, and cilantro. Salsa fresh and savory. The red salsa is on the spicier side for me, so I always opt for salsa verde. Squeeze a lime on each taco and sprinkle on some salt. Alway hits the spot for me.

Their asada burritos always hit the spot!! Would come here all the time in college and now when I come to visit I always try and stop by. Always friendly customer service too.

I have to say that we had a wonderful time eating some scrumptious food! Everything was prepared to our satisfaction and tasted absolutely delicious! My daughter (my Princess) had Birria Al Vapor which were seasoned perfectly. She really loved her dish! My wife (my Queen) had fluffy Waffles with tasty scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. She was totally satisfied as well! I had the combination Flajitas Flat Iron with tender chicken breast meat, juicy sautéed shrimp, and moth watering steak. My meal was Bomb!! Both the Flajitas and the Birria Al Vapor came with rice and beans as well and were quite filling! Lagos gets an A+ for the food for sure!! We were fortunate enough to have Rene Gonzalez as our waiter and he took excellent care of us. He was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took his job seriously and seemed to enjoy every minute of what he was doing. He kept our drinks refilled and ensured that we had everything that we needed and wanted to enjoy our meal at this establishment! Shout out to you Rene, as well as all of the other waiters and waitresses who worked and also stopped by our table during our meal to see if we needed anything . It was awesome to see everyone working together and getting along so well! I can see how this place can be so popular because of staff like these guys!! Thanks to you all for handling such a busy day with professionalism, grace and warm smiles while doing so! This is truly commendable! We will definitely be back! As far as the ambiance is concerned, Lagos is a stunningly beautiful building on the inside and outside! It has beautiful arches and high ceilings which are adorned with authentic sculptures and pristine lighting. There is ample seating in various sections of the expansive restaurant, with comfortable seating both inside and outside! The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and all patrons seemed to enjoy their stay while eating and fellowshipping together! This was totally Awesome!! We had a swell time and would like to highly recommend Lagos in Fullerton to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, in a professional, friendly and absolutely beautiful restaurant!! Nicely done guys!!! Especially you Rene!!!

I ordered the asada taco plate; they were the most plain and dry tacos I have ever eaten. My first thought at first bite was that even street tacos taste better than these. The shrimp plate was also plain, with the rice tasting undercooked. So disappointed with the quality of the food. Nice place though (the restroom needs a bit more attention) . Our waitress was friendly and the restaurant has nice décor.

It's not a big restaurant but they spaced it out great and have a great bar, western, Hispanic vibe to the whole place. I loved the artwork and photos with frames. The service was great, between the bartenders, check in and our host we were always tended to and asked how we are enjoying our experience. Now.. when I heard taco buffet... I'll admit I was skeptical. So when my buddie suggested this for our foodie group I figured give it a shot. I'll start by saying ... I'd go every Tuesday lol it was a simple buffet they had every meat you needed, the carne asada was good, the chicken was good, the barbacoa was friggin delicious my favorite was the Al pastor. And the mushrooms ... usually at buffets have dry or oily food and this was pretty damn good to be honest. I think it's a solid business plan to do taco Tuesday like this. On top of all that the mini churros were good, the salsas were delicious. The chips were alright I think that's the only thing that was ok for me but overall I enjoyed myself very much. ALSO!!! And to top it all off, you can end your meal with crispy, sweet churros! This spot is definitely worth checking out, especially on Tuesdays. Come out and have some fun!

You're better off parking along the streets and walking here. It's a casual dining so you order and then sit wherever you want. There's indoor and outdoor seating. During rush hour, it's pretty hectic. The salsa and toppings bar is located right next to the ordering line, so people were constantly squeezing past each other to get through. It wasn't very convenient, and with the restaurant already being on the smaller side, it could easily feel cramped and overwhelming for anyone who doesn't like tight spaces. However, I do like that there is an open salsa and toppings bar. They even have pickled onions, radish, and carrots. The salsas were very good as well, not overly spicy. I tried the carne asada, pastor, and chicken tacos. All of which were really good and well marinated. Meats were tender and not dry at all. Just on the taste alone, I'll definitely be back and will be paying with cash or debit next time. They definitely need a warning for credit surcharges and hopefully it won't be a rush hour next time I go.
