Surprisingly good. I say this because I see signs for breakfast tacos three for 599 three for 499 all over the place and when I stop the things are so tiny bland and empty of ingredients. You're basically buying a tortilla. However, Taqueria los Dos Laredos they fill these things to the max. They use good size tortillas with plenty of flavor. The sauce are great. People are friendly. This is how it used to be all over SAN ANTONIO. I'm glad Loretto's keeps tradition keeping food affordable and full of flavor. Great job y'all. read more

I stumbled on this Mexican restaurant while walking in the neighborhood. I love Mexican cuisine so it was an easy temptation for me. I ordered the Plato Mexicano, número cuatro in the lunch plate section. It consisted of two cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco, rice, beans and a salad. As I suspected it would be this food was very good. The plate was appealing in its presentation and an absolute delight to devour. The only thing is the serving was so much that I couldn't finish it. This place is a great tex-mex restaurant!! My go-to for breakfast tacos. Their flour tortillas are thick and fluffy, definitely home-made! I love their carne guisada with cheese tacos! Not too large, but a great taco for the price! The meat is perfectly seasoned and is on the verge of shredded vs chunks, which is my liking! Wish the bacon and egg had strips of bacon instead of chopped into the egg, but still tasty! The green hot sauce is a little watered down and not too spicey. read more

so I started coming here bout 5 yrs ago when I moved in a cpl streets from here n they food was delicious but now after Covid so much has changed i ordered a taco of egg n chorizo n a carne guisada omg the chicharon I don't know wut it was but it wasn't chicharin tortilla was all burned n it was salty n the carne guisada has no taste wut so ever I gues they put all the seasoning into the other mystery taco n last week I picked up 2 lunch plates food was cld n tortillas also burned n they ddnt give me the ice teas hate to say it but this place is not gd any more wld not recommend this place anymore read more

I was meeting up with a friend of mine for lunch and since I'm a lover of enchiladas, I decided to try that plate. I loved it! For 5 dollars and some change, you get 3 cheesy and greasy enchiladas, along with your rice, beans, and flour tortillas. I did love their salsa Verde which was flavorful and spicy. They even had mariachi's playing during lunch time which I always find entertaining. It's your typical small place located in the east side of San Antonio, but they tend to have the best mexican food in town. It was also very clean. I tried the chorizo and eggs plate with flour tortillas and had me a Mexican coke bottle. The flour tortillas are homemade and so delicious. My friend had the caldo de pollo and she loved it. Efficient, inexpensive breakfast. Huevos a la Mexicana, a slice of bacon, frijoles, and two tortillas for three bucks. Add a to-go tea, and you're out the door for under five. Plates and lunch tacos are standard taqueria fare: nothing to write home about but satisfying nonetheless.. Ordered tacos on 4/11/14 at approx 11:00am. When I got to the window I asked to add 2 bean and cheese tacos. The stupid cashier added the amount with her fingers. I felt bad so I have a $1 tip. (Which I hate that drive thru restaurants have on their bill) anyway, I paid and went o. My way. Well, the two bean and cheese tacos were left out. This is the most annoying thing a drive thru can do! I checked the bill.. The stupid girl charged me $2 each for bean and cheese tacos. I'm now out $5!! $4.00 for 2 bean/cheese tacos and the $1.00 tip. I'm sure The stupid girl laughed all the way to her beer joint. Beware of thieves at this place. We were headed out of town and were lucky enough to find this place for a quick taco. It is definitely a hole in the wall but a hidden gem! We ordered barbacoa, chorizo and papa ranchera tacos and they were amazing! Delicious homemade flour and corn tortillas. Nothing like SA food and super cheap! Excellent wait staff too. From the outside this place looks questionable. Salsa is watery but very good. The sweet tea is delicious! I got chicken enchiladas verdes. The rice is ok, beans are good. The chicken was very good and moist. Enchiladas had lots of cheese on top and the green sauce was good. read more
