I ordered through Uber Eats a few times from this business and asked for salsa for my $50+ order but received no salsa at all. 2 massive burritos but no salsa. Since this happened more than once, I called the store to specifically request that salsa be included, letting the business know that this happened on my last $60 order. The person who picked up assured me that they would make sure that the order included plenty of salsa. But again, nothing. How does this even make sense? I called the business again to let them know, they took my name, phone number and the items I ordered and was told that they would comp an item when I called in next time I order from them. When I tried to use the free item, I was passed around from one employee to another and then to the manager, then to the owner. Absolute nonsense, after 15 minutes on the phone, they still refused that they knew anything about it. I will never be going back again just purely on the fact that they did not honor what was told to me. Very disappointed. 5 years I've frequented this place but I will never be recommending this to lace to anyone ever again.

Also, they feature a green salsa packed with chunks of onion and jalapeño, alongside a traditional creamy fish taco sauce. That fish taco sauce is FIRE. It packs a much bigger spicy punch than the watered-down sauces you usually get at most restaurants, and it was delicious! If you are in the area, this is a must-stop. Both were on point. Chips fresh and just right, salsa had perfect amount of spice with the right amount of heat. Service is fast and attentive. And follow up service throughout the meal was great. I had the salmon taco plate. The portions were big, one piece of fish alone would have been enough for both tacos but they really build them right. So glad we stopped in, this is just the start to a long term relation ship. Forgot to mention they have a large attached events room and dance hall. Zacatecas is a family owned, authentic, traditional Mexican style restaurant, and they've been open since 1969. You know this place is good because they close at 3pm everyday and they stay in business. We ordered 2 Large Menudos and 1 Shredded Beef Taco and I did find the pricing very steep. It was almost $50. The menudo, alone, was $19 each. The menudo is full bodied and rich in flavor. This is one that actually doesn't need a lot of lemon because of that. It includes the menudo spices, oregano, lemon, cilantro, onions, and corn tortillas. I can make 2-3 meals out of the portion, so it's definitely shareable. This was the 1st time I was absolutely disappointed in the shredded beef taco (due to packaging). We got it to go and they wrapped it in foil and placed it between two hot bowls or menudo. By the time I got home, the cheese was melted and the lettuce was completely wilted. It made it almost inedible. If you dine in, they actually give you hot mole sauce to enjoy with your chips and salsa but if you get it to go, they charge you. I don't understand that but that's how it's always been. This restaurant also offers catering and can host events up to 150 people. Something to keep in mind if planning a party or event. The ambiance is perfect of an evening event.
