We had a small backyard graduation party on Saturday and DH provided the food for my nephew and neice coming in from Santa Barbara. A variety of hardshell chicken, ground beef and shredded beef tacos, soft shelled 'street' tacos, cheese enchiladas (arguably the best in Riverside) beans and rice! It enhanced the celebration. Although it wasn't my bill we discussed the complete value your meals continue to provide. Gracias.

Dos Hermanas is consistent. The food is always satisfying and the salsa was extra spicy this last order. It's always a little greasy, which is how we prefer our Cali-Mex.

Needed a taco fix and Dos Hermanas fit the bill. Ordered 2 potato tacos, 1 asada taco, 1 shredded beef taco, and 2 tostadas on Door Dash. All of the tacos were tasty and I enjoyed the shredded beef taco the most. The potato tacos were hard shelled and got a bit soggy on the bottom (maybe from the salsa on the top?) The sides of the taco was nice and crisp. The asada was tender but was a bit salty for me. The shredded beef was amazing and loved the amount of toppings on each taco, especially the cheese! The tostadas were delicious and the beans were excellent. We enjoyed their red salsa which was blended, had a great flavor, and the perfect amount of spice without being overly hot. Overall, we really enjoyed Dos Hermanas and will be putting in another order soon to further explore the menu.

It was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing workers were extremely sweet..- we came here for Mother's Day because madres brunch took too long! 60 minutes while this place took like 10?! That's amazing for the food tasting amazing !! The paintings on the windows really drew us in. Me and my mother DEVOURED it. Got a cute low rise squishy. Great customer service- free refills and hot fresh food. great Mother's Day indeed! Can't stop thinking about it! Will come again

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, You can really tell they put care into their recipes and ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and perfectly prepared. incredible food and the excellent customer service, this place definitely stands out. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending it to others looking for great Mexican food and a welcoming dining experience.

Zero ambiance. The outside needs to be cleaned. Dirty parking lot & dirty tables & floors inside. They were busy when we stopped in. My chicken tacos were good but nothing exceptional. My husband enjoyed his carne asada burrito. I probably wouldn't return. I personally think Taco Station is better.

Great little spot just a little warm inside but great food! I had the Carne Asada Burrito & my wife had the hardshell chicken tacos which my wife did they were ok but I really liked my carne asada burrito which I'm not big on the beans & rice in the burrito but I really loved it! The beans were really good & the meat was seasoned very well! Oh & it's pretty big burrito! Really enjoyed the burrito & would get it again!

Picked this up on my lunch break and I'm really surprised by the flavor, real homemade dish especially the rices and beans I'm picky about those, these made me feel at home like my mom cooked for me haha, delicious! And I got extra guac I think because they were closing

Ask the Community - Dos Hermanas Mexican Food Restaurant

Do the beans have pork in them?

Our refried beans are cooked with lard. You can substitute refried beans with beans straight from the pot (not cooked in lard.)

Do they give chips and salsa while you wait for your food?

No they don't offer chips and salsa. You have to buy them. This is a "fast-raunt" (sort of like Farmer Boys type.) More like a take-out place that offers booths for those that prefer to eat there. It's worth it.

    Do they offer vegetarian beans?

Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

First time coming to the restaurant for all of us. The ambience was cool and I liked the fact that they made the tortillas fresh. The food was cool I guess. My grandmother got the chicken fajitas but there were no bell peppers with it, just onions. The tamale was mid. My Dad and myself ordered a basic bean and cheese burrito. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters
