Two stars are for the "Taco Tuesdays" where all tacos are $1...very tasty and consistantly good! That being said, everything thing else gets 0 stars! DIRTY AND MESSY! Terrible customer service ( I mean who has to wait while 4 workers stand around and talk) and worst of all the charge for salsa for to go items. Most (not all) at least include a few chips and little containers for salsa......not here. If you don't dine in= NO FREE SALSA. You can have salsa but, you are charged and also charged for chips ,as well........It isn't that good to have to pay for it. For the most part I will go to places that include at least some free salsa. read more

I went in around close to 9 not knowing they closed at 9, the food was ok and prices were a little high for the quantity of the food. i was not satisfied with the service, at exactly 9 the cook kept playing around yelling lets go to his co-workers as in a sense that we can hear. Soon enough 10 minutes after they blasted the music so loud that my girlfriend and i can barely hear each other although we were sitting right across from each other. I don't really recommend this place if you are looking to have a quiet dinner without being rushed or feel like you are getting kicked out. read more

I have been in Modesto for 12 years and never had such great mexican food here (not even my mama's cooking!)!!! The service was fast and friendly, the owners are truely awesome people, and the food is the BEST!! They even have seafood plates at reasonable prices! You have to try their tacos too! (Go on Taco Tuesday for some great deals!) They get pretty busy and there's not much seating, but you can call in your orders and get it to go. You have to try them at least once and I gaurentee you'll go back for more! read more

I'm not in this area often, actually almost never, but I may make an exception for these tacos.
