In Portland today, on my way home, and found myself hungry. Across the street from the Goodwill Superstore was a food truck and I gave it a try. First of all, tacos for 1.75!! What a bargain. I walked up to the Food Truck and was greeted, I ordered 2 Chicken Tacos, with everything on it, Cilantro, onions and cheese. I was also offered a choice of Salsas and I choose the red. I waited maybe 5-6 minutes. These were definitely street Tacos. The small size tortillas doubled, plenty of grilled chopped Chicken and condiments. My first bite was mmmmmmm, 2nd bite mmmmmm again. These were awesome. Two Tacos were perfect for me on the go. They also offered Tortas, Burritos, and Quesadillas, all for a very reasonable price. So if your in the area of 6th and Grand, look for the truck in a parking lot right across from the Goodwill Superstore. read more

Stopped by today for lunch with a friend who is in the know in this neighborhood. The Chicken burrito was great. The rice had good flavor, and the chicken was fine quality. Solid 4 stars. I feel as though this truck is a diamond in the rough. It doesn't have great signage to advertise its location, but boy, do you feel lucky when you find it! My gluten-free coworker turned me onto this place, and we both have no idea how they can make these tacos for only a dollar each. If you ask nicely, they'll even include rice on the tacos for free (I always give them a tip when I ask for rice to offset the cost). If you're in the area during lunch time and have cash, try them out. It's totally worth it. read more

Um... what I can say about this place is the food is hot and the salsa is good enough. The price is great but sadly the pastor burrito lacked flavor. No flavor in the rice beans or meat. Great place if you need to get full cheap!! read more

Not impressed. Very inexpensive. The cook seems nice but the lady that takes the cash seems mean. My total was 5$ so I gave her 6. She didn't put it in tip jar or in any way acknowledge that I gave one more dollar. Instead she picked up her phone, dialed someone and started hooting and hollering into her mobile device from the front of the cab. The food needs spice. Nothing too it. I have a feeling they don't do much prep; more like open bags. But I'm no professional so I can't be sure. Also they are in the city of Portland and they have signs on the sidewalk without the city of Portland sticker. Is that legal? I know it's just a sign but other people pay it. I wouldn't want to pay it either. I doubt I will be back. read more

I've been coming here since I moved to Portland back in 2007 and this cart was at its former location on Division and 7th. I had my very first food cart burrito lovingly prepared by this adorable couple. It was full of chicken, rice, beans, cheese and pico. Nothing special. But I have been chasing the dragon ever since. It is still, hands-down, my favorite burrito spot. Don't even get me started on the hot sauce. I wish they bottled and sold it, but alas I will just have to continue to ask for 3 extra little red guys with each order. If I lived next door to this place, I might just turn into a burrito. I find myself making unnecessary trips to Goodwill just to see if they're open. Please, go to Pardos and give them all of your money. Also I hear the Tortas are fantastic. read more

Tacos for a buck! Very basic taco truck, but the grub is simple and flavorful. I had one of each meat, chicken, pork and beef which come with onions and cilantro and two small corn tortillas. The salsa verde was delicious. Basically, the best and cheapest breakfast around. Limited hours, so get there early. read more

ive been going to this cart for a long time.... but less and less. its nice because its cheaper than other carts, but you get what you pay for and (personally) customer service has gone way downhill... if u want cheap, and dont mind an unusually dry burrito thats beans rice meat and a scoop of pico only, you may not be too disappointed. what kills me: i used to ask for extra rice and salsa and was totally satisfied going to this cart... but after going week after week they stopped giving me extra rice/salsa, kept asking for the rice but i just got sick of asking for extra salsa every time too (talking like 40 times over the last year - you think they'd just remember my order & hookup the extra salsa/rice without asking EVERY TIME - but they obviously dont value me as a customer).... so recently i called them out after watching him (only guy that ever works there - seems descent) make 5 burritos and my extra rice burrito was made exactly the same as the others (NOT extra rice)... so i asked if it was extra rice and she (only woman who works here - she kinda has standing-angry-face) said yes it was.... i then cut it in half and explained there was minimal rice; not extra, not a chance!.... so next time back, guess what? extra rice costs $1?!? awesome. thanks. and i paid that extra dollar and got extra rice (as i used to get for free) but now they give me less beans than normal... :( & mad.... thats why im writing this review. they've lost me as a loyal customer (at least bought 50 burritos over last two years) so im enjoying my last burrito from this cart, wont miss it. recommend other carts. read more
