Caldo de Res is a MUST! Translation: Beef Soup VERY CLEAN MEAT... it doesn't have tons of fat!! Just the way my mom use to make us Caldo! Veggies included inside the Caldo with meat are patatoes, carrots, chayote (cooked perfectly), a piece of elote (corn), and celery. Yummy. Their tacos dorados de papa are always great. The food here is very affordable and delicious. Personally, the tacos are very flavorful especially the fish tacos, soft and yet crispy at the same time, yet affordable. Another great food item is the cocido, a Mexican stew comprised of beef, corn, potato, cabbage, carrot, other legumes, and of course that touch of spice that is the hallmark of Mexican cuisine. Add lime to the soup and its great! I particularly enjoy drinking their freshly made juices aka bionicos and the variety of flavors. Originally, the owners started with a juice business then grew to become a Mexican restaurant. I totally recommend buying the bionicos if you're more health conscious. They have great albondigas on Wednesday. It comes with tortillas of your choice and a side of rice. This place always hits the spit for quick homemade tasting Mexican food. They can do lot of customizing with your order. I've never been disappointed. The soup is not to salty, taste fresh vegetables are vibrant, the way they offer it up with onions and cilantro to garnish is how I'm used to it growing up. They close Sundays so be warned. Its also good for a breakfast burrito. Its a four table place so it's very small. Food quality is good, fast and efficient. When I'm on the go, and I crave decent Mexican food, I come here. read more

Hired Taquisa to cater my daughters birthday in January. We had the "taco man" for 60 people although we only had 54 adults. In addition, we purchased pizza separately. I was highly disappointed. It was suppose to be all you can eat but an hour into the event they ran out of food. Also they didn't bring creama for the fish tacos. WTF. Was this your first event? When I asked where the cream for the fish tacos was, the girl said there is none. What do you mean there's none? You forgot it? I didn't want to argue the night of the party so I called on Monday morning to discuss it with Carol. She said they brought enough food for 100 people. Ya right! At least 10 of my guest reported only having 2-3 tacos; hardly enough to wipe them out of meat for the night. In addition, I saw a lot of guests with pizza on their plates. They flat out didn't bring enough food and wouldn't even own up to it. They didn't even offer to give me a refund or partial refund. Their service was embarrassing. They were a disappointment. The amount of both disgust and disappointment I have in this facility is astounding. We placed an order thru door dash, a total of 4 items. Upon receipt of our order there is an item is missing replaced with a live MOTH fluttering inside the bag! I don't know about you, but I'm not looking to get my protein from a live BUG. Not my forte. I call the restaurant to tell them what's happened. They insist the order was complete when it left and I should contact door dash. While calling door dash the restaurant calls back to say they have the missing item there and we should go pick it up. Wait. What? Seriously? When I requested they replace the entire order they refused saying it's not their problem, it's door dash's. When I asked for a manager I was told there wasn't one there, their manager had already left for the day. Wow. So, you send me an incomplete order with a live BUG in the bag fluttering around my meal and refuse to replace it and then tell me you forgot to pack one of the meals and to go get it and there's no manager on site?! Your stellar customer service truly amazes me (Sarcasm). This is truly the most nauseating experience I've had to encounter. read more

Terrible ordered food trough uber eats and ordered 2 drinks because am at work and it's hot.. Well ended up paying for it and only got 1 drink delivered. Called in and yeah they told me it was the drivers fault! Seriously! Is he the one selling the food or drinks? Man up to your mistakes and learn to say sorry we made a mistake! My son requested barbacoa for his graduation dinner. I live in Arizona so, it's harder for me to taste test and trust Yelp. I called different places and they gave me the best deal. This is an updated review from my recent visit here. I came down here Saturday to place an order to go. I had to use my debit card because now at days not many people carry cash on them (boo! 50 cent charge!) The young waitress who seems to be the owner as well was being rude to not just me, but to other customers walking in placing orders. She might have been having a bad day or something, but hey guess what keep it to yourself (you are gonna get yelped about it!) Once my order came out which took 15 minutes for a simple burrito I asked for the coffee that was suppose to come with the orders. She put a nasty face and told me, " next time you want the coffee tell me before placing the order". I really do not see the point to this when the order says it comes with free coffee. In all honestly the food is not that great. I think it will have a liking to people who are not mexican because the food is far from authentic mexican food. Overall, keep the lousy bad attitude taquisa owner. I will not be stopping by here again and guess what! Now people know you are rude and not worth stopping by to eat at! read more

Late nite bike ride and stopped by since they were still opened. was greeted with a nice smile, service was great. Place seems clean and is about the size of most subways, which is a few stores down. Tamale wasnt that great, the masa was cold and didnt have much taste to it, the pork inside was ok & could have used more of it. Tacos were good, both the lengua and cabeza were soft & moist. I ordered the wet chile verde burrito and it was big but definitely needed flavor. I also ordered a side of guacamole and I literally got 1oz of it, but it was watery... Use real guacamole people!!!! I agree with Pancho. I went there to go have some tacos, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. I had two tacos, the meat was a bit too salty for my taste. But if you are planning on having a small get together with your friends and don't want to spend a whole lot of money in buying something to feed your friends I recommend you get the $15 burrito. read more

I love it when I can find a place that serves grilled veggies. I'm no vegetarian, but sometimes I just want to nosh on some cooked veggies that's more than just onions and peppers. Last night, I asked them if they had anything with grilled veggies and they offered me a vegetarian burrito. It even had grilled TOMATOES (my favorite!) I am one happy customer. I also picked up a BBQ pork burrito for my husband and he loved that too. He said, next time, he might have to go with tacos since the burrito was gigantic. Their horchata was also pretty perfect. I ate here last night because I've been here so many times before. Why ? because I like their food and service. Why 2 stars? After last night, service is what's left. I had 3 chicken taco plate day special. Wak! WAk! WAK! the meat is too salty for me. Maybe it's just the chicken? They need to taste their food before even serving them, I think. This little hidden gem is awesome. They did recently move locations so don't be comfused when you show up to the incorrect location, same parking lot but further but to the right (when looking at the building) of stater brothers. Newer, larger, cleaner location with the same employees and same fantastic food. We always call ahead on our lunch break and grab our food and head back to work. Food is always ready when we get there, tasty, fresh and not disappointing.
