My only gripe is the CONSTANT sales pitch of the Target credit card at the register. Every single time. No, I don't want your credit card...and then they keep going with why I need to save 5%. Target is a great store. The people here always seem polite and helpful. Target doesn't have the greatest prices when it comes to electronics, however if you do grocery shopping here you will be saving yourself some serious cash in the long haul. I like to do most of my grocery shopping here and I will hit up the grocery store for items that cannot be found at target. read more

Today while shopping at Target .. My husband texted me that he needed artificial tears no preservatives due to eye surgery ... I had no idea what I was looking for ... I asked "Dave" he not only took me to where they he looked them up on his phone to see which ones had no preservatives... We talked to the pharmacist and I left with exactly what I needed! Dave is the General Manager of this store .. He didn't have someone come help me .. He stepped up and not only helped me but went the extra mile! This is the only Target I shop at ... Please change the pharmacy back. The CVS Pharmacy makes many mistakes, has poor communication, and is very rude to the customers.

I am surprised about the glorious review for this Target. Odd because, yes it is well stocked, super clean, organized and offers an assortment of great values and products. The employees however, are not nearly as fabulous. On more than one occasion I have experienced mediocare customer service. When an item can't be found the employee is usually like "check over there" or "maybe we're out." At one point I just asked for an envelope for a gift card that I just purchased and the cashier responded with "I don't have one, go ask customer service" which was also a complete waste of my time. I do have to admit that when an employee occasionally does help me I never forget to mention it to the manager on duty. I ordered two large furniture items and when I got home and unpacked the items one was completely broken and the other was the wrong item. I went back to exchange the items and they had no more of the items in stock. They were unorganized and running around frantically at the store as well as being understaffed. read more

Store is great and all but I m writing this review about the cellular phone dept I would not at all recommended purchasing a phone or upgrading it i turned in my iPhone which they gave me only 5$ they gave me one monthly amount and charged a different amt that is at&t.The manager who helped me her name is Loretta Sullivan not at all helpful.did I mention when I returned the phone my iPhone was not returned saying I signed the waiver so its target property guess what I have no cell phone. I truly never Yelp but the service I got at this target today was so cold and horrible I felt I had to. I was returning a shirt for my husband and went to customer service where Sandra helped me, I had just purchased the shirt the day before and had the receipt. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged as she snatched the receipt from my hand and looked at it, she then handed it back to me claiming the shirts weren't on that receipt. I knew they were so I showed her where they were on the receipt, as she stood corrected she didn't give an apology for her mistake or anything, she simply snatched the receipt back huffed and did the exchange. THEN she exchanged the wrong shirt giving me back the original one, I told her I needed the other size and ONCE AGAIN she huffed and puffed and took the receipt back FOR A MISTAKE SHE MADE. Im leaving one star as I was not once treated with any amount of respect or kindness during this transaction as Sandra didn't even make eye contact. I truly hope she has a better day and treats others with more respect. read more

its target.. and well target is amazing.. this target is nice and clean and well organized. i enjoy going to their snack bar, grabbing a bag of popcorn with a soda or icee and walk around, shopping and being a fatty. probably the best combination one can have. plus my motto when it comes to target is that once you start to buy one thing.. youll walk out with a hand full of items that you never really "needed" in the first place. but hey you cant go wrong with a little over indulging and treating yourself to some amazing target shopping now can we? =] so go to target, grab a bag of popcorn and make sure you bring enough money to cover your over indulgences. read more

Have always loved this Target, and shop here nearly every week. When they added the grocery store portion, I actually stopped shopping at Ralph's and Pavillion's and made one trip here for everything instead. I was about to make the switch from my current pharmacy to Target instead, but I just found out that they've closed the café, including popcorn and all the other goodies, and are putting in a Starbucks and a sandwich shop instead. Seriously? There's a Starbucks in the same shopping center!! And four others within 2 miles. We don't need another Starbucks. Looks like I'm back to groceries at Ralph's. I'll still shop here, but I won't be buying groceries and I won't be moving my pharmacy items either. Bad decision. read more

Although I'm sure it does depend on the time of day you go and who is working, after reading several of the negative reviews on here and having my own terrible experience, I feel justified in posting this, I went in to buy a birthday gift for my 4 year old nephew. I decided on a super soft TMNT throw blanket for 14.99 when I went to the front to buy it, I got a medium height man with an odd way of speaking, who I think had a beard i only wish I looked at his name tag to inform his superiors of his bad customer service. He rung me up and I went to pay with my credit card. My card has a chip, which has only worked once before. After inserting it into the card reader and getting an error message (note: not an insufficient funds message) I told him that I had always had trouble with the cards chip and asked him if he could manually enter the card's number, something which up until now every other place I've used it when it's chip hasn't worked, has done for me with ease and usually suggests. This man was adamant in his refusal that he couldn't do that. To be fair he tried to ring it up several different times, but after that didn't work I tried another credit card, same story. I kept on telling him that it should work manually as I just had bought something on it, a few minutes ago by having cashiers ring it up manually. This employee refused to do so and told me with an arrogant demeanor that he "couldn't accept the card". If the reader had read insufficient funds, something I know to be impossible from double checking my balance immediately after I would have been fine, but it hadn't so there are three possible explanations for his attitude he was new, which didn't appear to be the case, he was incompetent or he intentionally lied. So assuming the best case scenario he lied several times to my face and was extremely rude, cutting me off when I went to explain in a very calm sweet voice the cards troubles. I ended up leaving my nephews birthday gift and storming out. It was the only thing I could do to keep myself from becoming mean towards my cashier. This is the first bad experience I've ever had at this target, but it was bad enough i never want to shop there again. #thatemployeeshouldbefired read more

Your customer service lead? Or manager? Ryan needs some better training as far as being professional at his work place. We come in one night to get some photos developed and we ask for help and its like he couldn't be bothered. And he proceeds to tell us that he needs to shut it down and reboot it. He shuts it down and then walks away to go buy some beef jerky and a drink while he is still on his shift and then proceeds after to open the bag and eat right in front of the customers, then we finally ask him if he was going to reboot it he has the nerve to come over to us and continue to eat. Last time I checked break time isn't combined with while your working. Then he makes remarks out loud to other employees about complaining about a certain employee that needed assistance, last time I checked it looked like part of your job description was assisting the employees that need help. So inappropriate and unprofessional. read more

The best Target in the area. It is clean, well-stocked and the clerks are always well informed. I enjoy shopping although I haven't yet come around to buying groceries here. I did once and then found out that I could have bought same/similar things at my Von's. I don't buy groceries here yet but I'm willing to change if there is a good reason to. read more

Funny story so two stars because I love Target lost the other 3 for the larger older lady that works up front. She is annoying and treats everyone rude and thinks she's being cute. The store was busy the other day and well this was priceless. The only register that was open was the lady I don't care for so the woman behind me said she is open up there. Chris and Alice from the service desk always have a smile and are always the willing to help me out with a return or store pick up. My wife and I have been regular shoppers at this location in Anaheim Hills. I'm leaving two stars only because I recognize I am very upset, even though a 1 star experience is becoming the 'norm' for Target. When will Target give the consumer a break regarding experiences after purchases are complete?? As a regular customer I had to deal with 2 credit cards compromised recently due to Target's poor corporate transaction security issues (was going to use the word incompetence but I am really trying to be fair & realize this same thing has happened to other businesses & that the real criminals are those who exploit the weaknesses of established businesses). So I had to have 2 cards canceled & reset everything associated with them. A real big hassle. Yesterday I go in to the store shopping & I find a couple of items discounted on a 30% off display. This was in the children's game section & I picked up 2 of the items (1 item was a board game called 'Quelf' & looked interesting for an adult type board game, & it was discounted from $31.99 to $22.41--For $22.41 I pick it up on an impulse buy). The discount sticker with the bar code is marked 'Repackage' & shows the new price of $22.41 with a SKU # on the repackage bar code next to the new price. Note that the discount sticker is placed on the front of the game, is smaller than the original bar code AND now my 'ah ha' realization in retrospect is that of utmost importance it is placed in the exact opposite location of the original package bar code--original PCKG bar code is on the back in the lower right corner & is almost twice as large as the discount sticker placed onto the package. So IMHO the 'Repackage' sticker is placed in such a way that Target almost ensures the likelihood of a mistake being made at the register...i.e., scanning the original bar code and not the discounted bar code, thus ensuring that the advertised price is not the actual price that is paid at the register. This appears to be the 'design' of this, and NOT a mistake that the girl at the register made. The 'Repackage' bar code sticker was not placed over the original bar code sticker. Originally I came into the store to buy a Monopoly game for my young niece and some other items for a birthday party, as well as some grocery and cleaning items...so the receipt total included quite a few items and was for over $120. OK so far so good. I get to the checkout registers and there are some small lines, not unacceptable but a Manager comes over and points me to the 'Customer Service' area and says the girl there can check me out. OK, all continuing good so far. I have the items previously mentioned, also some bottled water, a hula hoop, board games, a discounted skate board, somewhat awkward and at the check out the girl and I are trying to get it all up to the counter, rung up and back into the cart. I got distracted with managing that I forgot to examine the receipt after receiving the hard copy...I left some items on the counter to sign the electronic signature on the credit card reader & then got the receipt & proceeded to finish putting items back into the cart. There were a couple of customers behind me with returns and I felt a little empathy towards them because they each had 1 item to return and here I am in the return location with a cart full of purchases conducting a purchasing activity. Again I do appreciate that Target and the inhouse Manager was trying to 'manage' the customer experience & sent me there to check out a little quicker. At the time there were no other customers in that line, so good job on the Manager's part. OK, I get home & review the receipt and recognize the overcharge of almost $10. The roundtrip to target is at least 10 miles, & I am done going to Target for the day/week/awhile.I call the store from the phone # on the receipt and eventually am connected to Connie. I tell her what happened & I have receipt #, credit card #, the pckg original SKU # and discount SKU # can you please refund the overcharge over the phone? Connie says no, store policy, they don't know how to do it, etc. I have to come back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I ask to talk to the Manager & am eventually connected to Katie who is ID'd as a 'Supervisor' after being on hold for awhile. Katie told me that they were having a discussion trying to figure out a solution, but they really have no solution, I have to trek back into target. I call corporate CustSVC & no solution there, they're only CustSVC. HUH? Russel told me that I have to go back to the store. Wow Target? I left my name and # with both store & corporate and asked them to call back with a solution. I offered for target to send somebody to my home to transact the refund. Response was 'uhh' maybe, don't know, ahamana ahamana, we'll get back to U. Target needs to solve the problem they created, not me. Waiting here in Anaheim Hills and getting real tired of the 'TARGET Experience*%@! SHAME on TARGET. read more
