This review is for the pharmacy only - although the store is also fabulous. I recently made the switch to Target (see my ONE star review for CVS) and I am in love. - They are friendly. They smile at me! - They are quick. I don't have to stand around for days waiting for them. - When I called in to request a refill, the automated voice told me what time it will be ready. - I enrolled on in the auto-refill program, so I will never have to call in again! They will automatically refill my RX for me and then call me to let me know when to pick it up. - When my RX runs out, they will contact my doctor for me and try to get it renewed. I wish I had made this switch years ago! read more

Money. Honestly, as sad as this sounds, sometimes nothing makes me happier than a great Target store - and this one seems to nail it. The store is very clean, everything is well stocked, and the employees are actually friendly AND competent - traits not shared by all Target employees (I'm looking at you, Target on harbor and chapman). They have the new carts and baskets and a very solid grocery section. I also feel compelled to note that, while this is in a good area, that does not always mean the Target will be nice. This one just happens to be in a nice area and be a kick ass store. I foresee too much of my paycheck being spent here. read more

The store has decided to no longer sanitize stations in between customer self-checkouts. They received feedback that this was too time-consuming (but do we realize that nearby target stores have experienced a cluster of recent cases) and are only adhering upon request. I did request for my station to be sanitized, but it was behind 4 other customer requests. They need to station a more experienced associate at self-checkout or look at additional coverage. read more

Kudos to you Target of Anaheim Hills! You are able to keep all the shelves in your aisles tidy....even near closing time on Christmas Eve. After seeing the mess at your Fullerton counterpart the day before, you widely impressed me. You didn't even have lines at the check out. Love it! But wait.....what happened to the little refrigerators at the end of each check out with the water/sodas? I was in desperate need before our impulsive game of basketball. I went to the grocery section, but it was filled with milk and juice. Water! I needed water! (I will have to be more observant at other Targets now to see if it's all of them.) A non-holiday note: this Target is one of the bigger locations that I've been to. Just got back from this sorry excuse of a "Target." I literally left empty handed. Why? Because they did not have one item that I came in for. I came into Target to get 4 specific items and of course they were out of ALL items. How is that even possible? The makeup section looked like the aftermath of a Black Friday sale-it was completely empty! So was the car freshener section...so unacceptable! I wasted my time going in circles to find my items only to leave empty handed and very irritated. Get it together Target and keep your stuff stocked and up to date! Being that this is the closest target to my new home, I had to check it out, right? Why I like this place... their pharmacy is excellent. I get my generics for a decent price and get to shop while I wait for my prescription to be filled. The last time I was sick, I actually had a pharmacist who managed to explain the side effects of each medication and for that she gets brownie points for competency. They also have a mini grocery/produce/frozen section which is convenient if you want to avoid multiple trips to multiple places. Otherwise it's the usual Target store, except cleaner. That aside, I haven't gone there since the last time I was sick. If I was to go back, I would just go there for their pharmacy. It's just good to know that there's always a just-in-case place to go if you need something. read more

This target has a person who helps in the make up department, she is marvelous . She will help with finding anything, and she knows the store well. She makes it easy to shop. I look for her every time I visit, even if just to say hi. The pharmacy staff is also amazing. They are helpful and pleasant. The pharmacist is informative and patient and quite efficient . I use target for my medicine needs exclusively. read more

So I just went to Target on January 27, 2018 around 11:30 p.m. I spent around $180.00 buying basic essentials for home like paper towels which is why I'm writing this review. When I brought all my items to checkout, they were in the top of the cart; however when the cashier placed the items back in the cart, he placed the paper towels underneath the cart. Something I didn't pay attention to when I left the store. I proceeded to unload the items in my car and missed the paper towels that were placed underneath the carriage. Once I realized that happened, I called the manager and she said she needed to investigate my claims. She called me back and said that I took them home. I said that they were left behind on the cart which was late at night almost midnight. I asked her if anyone from the night got the carts saw them since my car was one of very few cars in the lot. She seemed disinterested. Why would I make up a story over a $10 package of paper towels? By the way, I patronize Target often. So I received no help not even a store coupon to by them at a discount rate. We're talking about paper towels in the scope me spending $180.00. They definitely don't care about retaining their customers. read more

I was in dire need of a tooth brush, and no customer service agent assisted me to find the right one with the exact bristles for my teeth. This was very disappointing considering I worked for the Target great land in Costa Mesa during 2006-2007 for ceci Rodriguez. I expect more when it comes to rapport being given to me as a customer and me giving it back to the customer service representative. Do not waste your time coming to this target location. read more

Ordered Madden NFL 22 on target.com to pick up at this store. Website said it would be ready in 2 hours or less. Never received an email that it was ready, but I was out and decided to go in. Went to pickup. 1 lady was actually trying to help and another lady was off to the side. She told me that it takes 2-4 hours with a very know-it-all voice. Other lady said she couldn't find my order so I assumed that it was still processing. Checked at 4 hours and realized that they had cancelled it and refunded. No contact made, no reason given. Ordered from the Orange Target instead. Hope I actually get the game this time. read more

Target...We have a love/hate relationship. I love that I can get all my shopping done in 1 spot, but i hate that i buy more than i came in for. They seem to have something new and cool that i have to have every time i come in. The prices are more than Wal-Mart but its worth every penny to come here. The atmosphere is way better and its a nicer store. They just added the grocery section not too long ago and its amazing. The prices are great too. I would definitely suggest you shop here, just be careful with your spending or you could go broke! lol read more

I hate this target. checking out here is the worst. Now they make you stand in a line just to stand in a line. Every time I come I get the slowest cashier. I am not one to be in a hurry but after a while of waiting it gets annoying. And then snap at me when I try to put my stuff down. I've had them ring my items up and charge me twice. I go to this Target because it's the closest to where I live, but I have to say that the front lanes do not know what they're doing. I use to work here and I know how busy it gets during the holiday season, but you do not have guest wrap around the aisles to checkout. That is a safety violation if an emergency happen to arise. They need to rehire GSTL's or whatever they're called now. It's specifically the women, not the men. read more

I been going to this target for almost 5 years. Today was one of the worst visit ever. All workers were all friendly even when its busy. Not today worst cashier ever. Let someone cut in front of us when we have our items ready to scan. She told us she didn't see them cut in. Its because you told them it's ok. I heard you. Dont act like you didn't see us standing there. You didn't even want to look at us. I told her the ketchup was get 2 for $5 target card. She said no. I told her to go ask someone to look. She didn't want to listen to me. So I didn't get my card. Then shes getting mad at us when we should be getting mad at her. We wanted to use a $50 gift card and the cashier instead added $50 to the gift card, so we ended up with $100 on the gift card instead of 0. She insisted that she didn't charge us more, that she correctly used the gift card. The guest services employees helped me. John fixed the issue quickly and without stress. I'm so glad that he was able to understand the issue and resolve it. Many times, fixing a small problem turns out to be a big headache. Thank you to John! read more

This is my favorite Target location in all of Orange County! It's in a nice neighborhood, the store is tidy, and the employees are friendly and efficient. Unlike other Target locations, they've never hassled me over returns and anytime I ask someone for assistance, I've always been greeted with competence and respect. Best of all, they offer a great selection of items and often have the particular size or variety of something I'm looking for when everywhere else has run out of it already. So either they really know how to keep the right amount of inventory on hand, or they simply don't have as much business, due to the fact that the store is located in a bit of a remote area. 2015 YELP 100 CHALLENGE - 066/100 Love this Target location! My boyfriend recently moved to Anaheim Hills so this is our new go-to Target in the area. Located in a huge shopping center with tons of parking, and other stores you can check out while you're there. This Target never feels very busy, which is one of the best things about it. I usually go with my bf on weekend evenings and it's never really that crowded. The store is clean, well-kept, and seems to have most things in stock. So I think I can easily agree with everyone on here that this Target is not that great in terms of customer service. Yet I still keep coming here because it's closer to me. But today (Saturday, 4/15) was the final straw. I am writing this review mainly on the customer service and to warn people. So if the people on here could help me find out this man's name so I can properly address him I'd appreciate it. Basically, this man is a young Asian male, it's not Ryan btw, and he only works at guest services. He's SO RUDE and SO DISRESPECTFUL. He couldn't give a crap about customers and he's particularly rude and snarky with me because I used to work at Target and my brother works at the Brea Target. I'm not a confrontational person, I don't like to make a scene and I feel like he knows that and takes advantage of that. Today, I went to go return an opened game, and I forgot about their policy about the game. He opens it and tells me he can't return it because of their policy. WHICH IS FINE. I didn't say anything I just nodded and said 'Ok'. Then he says to me 'You used to work here right? You should know our policies.' I know I should've stayed and called for a manager but I wanted to figure out what to do. Again I'm not a confrontational person so I wanted to think it through, plus I did used to work at this Target and liked most of the people, mainly Vicki. This isn't the first time this guy has embarrassed me like this, I have continuously been letting it go and I know that's wrong but today was the last straw. I do plan on complaining and reporting him. He should not be working here anymore, normally I would say 'Oh maybe he needs better training'. No, he needs to be fired. I'm sorry. I always try to love Target, but I gotta admit, I just like them enough. Lol. I often find that they run out of items at a pretty regular rate. Still it's an easy go-to, when you want that "one stop shop" and don't feel like creating the latest "people of walmart" meme. I needed a few random household items and this location met my needs. Upon entering, I liked the mannequin display in the center. It reminded my of a nice focal point, while entering a grand lobby. To the right they have a Starbucks and Which Wich, making this one stop shop, even better, if one needs a meal and caffeine boost. The bathrooms are also located conveniently next door. I managed to find most of the items I needed and was pleased that a few were on clearance. Score! I was disappointed in their lack of kitchen mats, though. Either the patterns screamed "old lady," or they were too bland and reminded me of cheap studio apartment kitchens. Oh well. read more

I had a Very bad experience at this Anaheim Hills Target today. I came in visiting because I typically get great service from Target no matter what city I'm in. I was picking up some facial cleansing wipes and I got the great Target service I'm used to. Clean & courteous. But as I was heading to the front I asked the manager named Angie if there were any good tv's I can still buy for Black Friday prices. She mumbled in a hard to understand accent so I asked her to please repeat herself. She was so busy yelling into a Walkie talkie and did not look up to me. I informed her I did not understand. Then Angie rudely raised her voice and said "No! Can't you see I'm busy!" I am shocked because I've never had this type of service at Target. I immediately put my facial cleansing wipes down and I left. I can't believe Target would hire a manager who would treat a customer so rudely. read more

I came to this store while using the Tesla Superchargers in the parking lot and this was the worst target experience I've ever had. The employees who "assisted" me were very unhelpful, seemed unknowledgeable, and very unprofessional. The associate at guest services was not at all attentive to what I was requesting and had a very rude presentation. Tania working in customer service is the rudest employee I've ever come across in any store. This is my "home" store so I visit frequently throughout the week and I never have issues. I was doing a small return in customer service trying to make conversation, to which she never responded, and NEVER made eye contact with me the entire transaction. This is simply the best Target I have been to. I have been here more than 60 times. It is always clean, the items are always in the right spot (you dont find clothes in toys or food in automotive so to speak). They always have great items on sale here. You can find out what day that they put out the sales items and then pic stuff up at greatly reduced prices. This store is not as big as many others, but it is always the best one to hit up IMHO. I love walking in and out of all the clean, pretty aisles, dump all the household items that I may (or may not) need into my red cart, and come out feeling like I spent waay too much money. :) This location is great--very clean, staff is nice, ample parking. However, I do have one major gripe about this location: their price points are slightly higher than other Targets!!!!!!! Same exact product (it was a feminine product, if you must know) at the Norwalk location was $7.99. Anaheim Hills had it at $8.69. Another example was my Aveeno hand lotion was $10.99 at the Irvine AND Norwalk location...but $12.49 at this Anaheim Hills location. Blech. The lease probably costs more, I guess? Regardless, this location is wonderful! Just consider yourself warned about the higher price points on select items! read more

This is one of the best Target around town. I guess because it is in a nice area of Anaheim Hills. I used to come here once a week. They seems to have everything in this store, and is well organize. Also the store is always clean, and seems like they always have more staff then need it. I don't remember ever need to wait in a line for too long before they open up a new line. I don't remember going to a target thats as good as this one. If you need to pick something up from target, just stop by this one. read more

Attention!!!!!! Never in your life use the cvs pharmacy at this target. Very unprofessional and terrible I repeat terrible at communication with customers!!!!! Now I have to come back to this hell hole of a store and walk through the entire place just to pick up something less harmful then baby Tylenol. What a joke this pharmacy is. You should be upfront about everything before excepting the prescription and having people wait around and waste their time while you work on getting your ducks in a row.
