I really enjoy Target, it is easy to spend a tone of money in there. However, as much as I love Target, it seems every time I come in the shelfs are half empty. When I ask an employee to help (which pains me, I hate asking for help) its a hit or miss. Some do not mind, some do. Over all I will still shop at this Target. I was in this store a couple of days ago and I cant shake what I saw and heard... I was in the self-checkout area, ringing myself up, where two employees were having a discussion. One of them was having trouble with a different self-check scanner than I was using, and at good volume she drops the r-word, with zero consideration for how offensive that is. The complete lack of self-awareness coupled with the inappropriate use of that word left a totally bad taste. read more

This Target has gotten really bad!! It used to be clean, well stocked, fast and relatively crime free...NOT THE CASE ANYMORE. Just yesterday I witnessed a scuffle between a customer trying to steal and a target employee. I'm glad the Target employee was able to retrieve the stolen merchandise. But really you're better off going to the Target in Pittsburg if you want a quiet, clean shopping experience without waiting in long lines. read more

I used to love shopping at target! Of course, a way better choice than Walmart. Target was always about treating their customers good and not trying to rob them. I just went and today and bought tooth paste, deodorant, axe hair puffy, and body spray for $30. I couldn't believe it. They've realized that there business is established and has a lot of customers that they've began to raise there prices. I hate shopping at wamary but I can't afford to buy 6 dollar toothpaste!! Need to vent: I do shop here often and do love how how clean it is but...... I called this morning and asked the operator if they carried 8oz paper coffee cups as I have been looking every where with no luck. The operator had someone look and advised they did!! So I get there and waste 20 min of my lunch hour fighting for parking and the cups are no where to be found!!! uggg... So I call them and spoke with the nice operator who transferred me to a manager who answered with much attitude as if he was already bothered and said... Ummmm I'm sorry and that was it!!! Target - Sommersville Branch I hate this store and all Target stores. I went there to purchase 2 sets of lawn furntiure that were on sale, I was willing to pay for everything right there and then, the only problem is that I couldn't pick up the furniture that day due to a prior commitment so I asked that they keep the merchandise until the next day. They said they cannot hold merchandise for customers because they cannot be liable for lost items. I then asked if they can extend the sale price for me until the next day, they said no because the sale will be over by then. This coming from the person incharge of the store that day and their customer service people is really disappointing and aggravating. What kind of dumb reasoning is that???? I guess it shows they (TARGET) do not cater to their customer's needs. Heck they probably don't know what customer service means Moreso, it shows that they don't trust their own employees. BEWARE TARGET EMPLOYEES, this is insulting!!!!!! How can furniture maked with the letters SOLD, walk out of the store undetected - hello???? It will take a very long time for me to go back to a Target store again and that's if I ever go back to that store. My experience left more to be desired the managers were not very helpful at all when trying to find a electric cart.however I was just helped out by a young man and that boy deserves a raise. I bought a large table and 2 mountain bikes for my grandkids and he carried the bikes and the table to my car bikes in one hand table in the other I couldn't believe it! I thanked him and on my way out of the parking lot I saw him helping another elderly man with a cane cross the street. read more

I love this place!!!! it has anything and everything you need. i am know for my target ass gift giving skills and i pretty much furnished my whole house here and ikea. this one is huge, stocked and clean. the workers aren't completely moronic either. i went there last weekend and couldn't find a humidifier. i asked an associate and the guy knew exactly what aisle it was on and even what shelf!! talk about impressive! the lines are never that long despite the fact they only have 3 of their 20 checkout stands open and the store is packed. it's just a magical place. Target is better than k-mart and walmart combined. read more

I love all Targets, but MY Target has a special place in my heart. My only complaint is that they sometimes are out of Double Shot Lite espresso's, but I get it...moms like me need their caffeine and it flies off the shelf. Once in a while I can't find a double cart inside (which is a deal breaker for me if I have the kids), but an employee ran out to the parking lot to hunt one down for me last week. My mom and I went here fir a fan and a portable shark vacuum cleaner which ended up being last one they had on shelf in Antioch and then the fan was unopened box and I left my moms to back to Sunnyvale fan had more ore like box said and shark Bs would not charge up at all so I had to put both back in car take with me today to Sunnyvale target well I ended up paying 7 dollars more isn't a good product like box says and the vacuum I ended up having to get because of the store also being sold out of shark vaccumn and the fan and vaccumn need to be returned again very annoying why dues target put returns on shelf without first making sure all of the contents like a remote with fan this isn't first time I had a problem with items not being complete or used put back in box by customers like a lip liner half gone and obviously skeins used the liner and rudely grossly out it back in box and up fur sale again very unsanitary getting tired of target and them putting returned merchandise back out in floor for re sale and then not wanting to return defective merchandise read more

I LOVE Target. LOVE it. I don't think I've ever gotten out of there spending less then $50. Seriously. I much rather prefer to shop at the Slaten Ranch Target then the one in Pittsburg. This store is clean (even the bathrooms, but minus the kids clothes area). And that's just a mess because what store isn't a mess when it comes to the kids clothing. I don't know if their groceries are any cheaper then anywhere else. I wouldn't buy my produce from here. There isn't a huge selection and the few times I have bought fruit or veggies from there they went bad pretty quickly. I do have an issue with their employees. It's not like it's hindered me from going there but I have YET to encounter a friendly person from there. Well that's a lie there are 2 older ladies who work the cash registers and they're pretty nice. Other then that the people who work there are just odd. One woman honestly went out of her way to NOT look at me. Generally people smile at one another when they walk by. This lady made it completely obvious she was not going to look at me or smile. But like I said, I LOVE Target so I'll be back. Often. read more

If I could give this company a negative 5 I would. This Target is extremely unprofessional. Management is horrible and the supervisors they have in charge are a joke. Employees are not very helpful there at all. Security makes you feel uncomfortable at best. Nothing but children running the store. Hardly anyone knows the answers to questions that we, as customers may have. Do they even train the employees there? I use to love Target but, after so many incidents, I will not be purchasing anything from Target company again and I will make sure to tell my family and friends. I will be going down the street to Wal-Mart where things are cheaper anyway and nice now that they made it a super store. read more

I have been a big fan and patron of Target and this location for a long time. Something which I unfortunately must re-evaluate. I recently went in to purchase a space heater. The one in particular that I wanted, not that there were many to choose from as the shelves were bare, seemed to have obviously been opened and I'm guessing returned. Not being too picky I figured what the hell and got it thinking it would be fine or they wouldn't have put it back out for sale again. I thought wrong. As soon as I opened the box it became obvious that this heater was damaged as the casing on one side was cracked and the seams did not align. This damage should have been very obvious to whomever chose to put it back on the floor. Once again, not being the picky type I figured whatever, I'm sure it still works, and again I was mostly wrong. The heater did work but it had this annoying vibrating noise that I assume was caused by the damage to the exterior breaking something inside as well, to top it off the thermostat kept going on and off, not in a good way but a not working way. I quickly returned it as soon as I had time. To sum it all up, this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's obvious that someone isn't doing their job, unless it's Targets policy to put damaged goods back out for sale, and I really don't enjoy the fact that their inability to handle damaged merchandise properly forced me to waste my time, and yes Target I do consider my time to have value as like most working class folk my free time is not unlimited. So, this combined with the growing trend of unorganized and under stocked shelves leaves me wonder if I'm better off taking my business elsewhere. Needless to say I spent even more of my time finding a heater at a different retailer who I was happy to find didn't stock their shelves with broken returned goods. read more

I love this place. I come here a lot to buy school materials for my girls and snacks ofcourse. They have helpful staffs and their shelves seems to be stocked all the times I've been here. It's a little pricier than the other store but so much more worth it and safer too. read more

During the relaunch of the NES classic Amy came out before they opened to inform us of how many they had in stock. Plenty of consoles but few controllers, so she saved a lot of people from having to wait. She organized everyone outside and took us to electronics when it was time to go in.
