The customer service rep was friendly in the beginning but as we proceeded he insisted that since I did not have a physical receipt that they would not allow a return on the item. Target is a great place to shop, there's a wide variety of many products like food, clothing, electronics, Home appliances and many more the service at target is great as well very polite customer service. The prices at target are reasonable but they do tend to be higher than some places. But overall target is a great store . read more

Latest squishmallow or that Bullseye zone which gets me all the time with their cute seasonal items. If you haven't been to that section of store you should check it out! Hard to miss! It is not okay that there is only self checkout and one cashier in the middle of the day. Not only do I have to pay the same price to do the work myself - I have to stand in a ridiculously long line to do so. If I didn't need the items I would leave them here and leave the store. Then after he helped me and another customer, went to restock more items. Efficient and helpful. The employee that is iffy is the 5'7" shorter guy with glasses, dark short hair, and facial hair. I had a great experience at this Target!! They are so helpful, their customer service is amazing! I'm not sure why this target has less than 5 stars. This target is VERY organized and one of the few that I know of with two floors. Although, the first floor is for parking it beats going out to your car in the heat and feels slightly safer at night as well. No complaints! read more

Horrible customer service Before wasting my time to go in and return a defective Item I asked a customer service rep at the return desk if I can still do so i was informed YES The following day I went in David the manager was at the customer service rep desk was unable to lookup my purchase on my credit card and since item was over $100 he informed me to call the customer service number 800-303-0308 After calling the 800 # wasting an hour with someone that was not even in the USA had a very hard time trying to help me and manager refused to help me wouldn't allow the transfer I was told have a good day no one can help you now i'm stuck with an item I paid over $100 that's defective I also tried calling the store to talk to a manger I cant even get anyone to pickup the phone I was expecting a lot more from target VERY DISAPOINTED read more

This Target location has a parking garage underneath and escalators for the shopping carts. This store was clean and spacious. I'm from out of town so I came into the store to kill some time while I wait for Check in at my hotel. I felt like the makeup area was kinda limited and condensed together. But I found a lot of stuff in the face wash area. The fitting area was nice and clean. The staff was friendly for the most part. I was trying to push my basket down the escalator but I guess it was stuck or not working so a young lady came to reset it. read more

This target is pretty standard and sometimes it's convenient because they have the structure to park! I usually find plenty of parking regardless but when I am in the area it's one of my favorite Target's to go to. I've never had an issue here and so some of the negative reviews seem off but to each their own! they sometimes even have stuff that I haven't seen at other target's read more

Is there a way to give half stars? Because I would give the Target in Brea 3 1/2 stars. But I'll get the that in a sec. Target in Brea is located just across the street (to the north) of the Brea Mall. It is easily accessible and there's plenty of parking. In fact, the store itself is located on top of their covered parking lot (VERY nice during hot or inclement weather!). The lot and covered parking areas are very well maintained and clean. Once you go up either the escalator or elevator and get into the store, you'll find it's nicely lit, clean, and well-organized. The aisles are wide enough for 2 carts to go thru side by side. The shelves are nicely organized and stocked. Same can be said for the clothing areas, but only one cart can comfortably navigate between the racks. It has a pharmacy, an in-store Starbucks and a Freshii cafe. An optical department has very recently been added. Additionally, a new expansion has been made to the liquor department. Herein lies my disappointment. Not so much at this particular expansion, but at the fact that it came at the cost of a big reduction in selection in basic grocery items. The jam/jelly/peanut butter selection has been reduced considerably, and the boxed cake/brownie/cookie aisle has literally been cut in half. On the opposite spectrum, where the cold beer was previously stocked is now filled with frozen pizza. The pizza freezer seems to have doubled in size. (If you need to stock up on beer & pizza, this is your place!) This is still my Target of choice, but due to the recent reduction in basic grocery selection, I've been finding myself at their blue & yellow competitor more than before. read more

Jennifer the cashier who was supposed to clock out at 1:30 pm today (12/3/22) was horrible and absolute poor excuse of a Target employee. She asked the customer behind me to move to the next register. However, when she realized it would take her longer to ring the person ahead of me and would put her past 1:30 pm, she then asked me to move to the next register. By that time, more people got in that line. When I came back and asked her to ring me up she denied that she asked me to move to a different line. She even involved the customer she was ringing up to go against me as well. Very unprofessional and it was not needed to involve another customer. She needs to be re-trained or find another location. read more

The Brea Target is one of the better Targets. It is located across the street from the Brea Mall in a strip shopping center. Parking is conveniently located on the first floor in a covered parking garage. The store is located on the 2nd floor. They have elevators, stairs and escalators for both you and your cart. If you come here on the right day, you may see Ryan C. The employees seem nice and are willing to help. One thing you need to remember when you go to Target is never shop there in a red shirt. Customers will think you are a Target employee. I've worn red shirts in Targets a couple of times, luckily, since most Targets are laid out in a similar fashion, I was able to point the customers in the right direction. This Target has everything you need. They have groceries, toys, electronics, clothing, and much, much more. If you are tired of shopping, you can relax in their Starbuck's. Wifi is available the moment you step foot inside the store. I still don't like it that they prey on people like my wife, who likes everything organic. My wife likes to buy organic milk. Luckily for me, I have the Red Card and can say 5%. Sprouts in the same shopping center is cheaper. It is a nice Target. You cannot go wrong coming here! read more

So happy with my pick up experience. Due to covid pandemic, I really don't care for shopping and rather pick up and go. Was so happy to find the 3 tier plastic cart by room essentials for $15 each online. Order online and was able to pick up in store within a hour. Showed up at target and their was only one person ahead of me. Was in & out of the store in less then 20 minutes. read more

I've been driving further from my hometown to come to this Target because they have everything and anything- huge plus compared to other Targets that have empty shelves of my favorite items. Purchase: Kona Sol Swimsuit Takes: Inventory of items in general is pretty solid. I wasn't able to find the item I was originally looking for (JH3 hot wheels), but I did walk away with a swim suit! Price: Swimsuit was about $40 excluding tax. It's a bit pricey, but these have lasted me for years. Parking: Huge lots! There's a covered Target parking section, and a shared uncovered lot. Service: This is the kicker. Usually, I go to the self-service section because it's often faster (no lines). However, tonight I opted for the full service register because the swimsuit had a sensor on it. Everything was fine until it was time to pay. I inserted my card to pay, but the machine was giving me an error. I did this twice, and then I asked Maggie at the register if the card reader was working because I tried inserting my card and sliding my card. Her response was to blow on my credit card, and then insert it into the machine. Then she canceled the transaction on the machine to reset it, and then reinserted my card. It worked after the reset. I'm not sure what Target's protocol is if the the machine is not reading the credit/debit cards, but blowing on your customers' cards is so unhygienic! It's also flu season so who knows what is going around right now. Bottom line: You're definitely better off going to the self-service registers. read more

Love this Target because it is kept clean and well organized. I love that the Target is upstairs so there is ample parking downstairs underneath the store and it is all in the shade so you don't have to worry about a blazing hot steering wheel. Great planning. Also love the convenience of a Starbucks inside the Target. It is easy to get shopping done faster with some decaf for a second wind. Their store brand Epsom salt is excellent in a bath for sore muscles so I often come here to stock up. Especially if I'm doing cross fit or p90x. Takes the edge off. Thera Pearl ice packs are worth the price. I've used countless types of ice packs over the years and these are by far the best for cold retention and shaping to the area you want to ice. Their paperback and hardcover books are reasonably priced and I've found some titles cheaper than online. I like to keep my tax dollars local and coming to this Target is one way I can accomplish my to do list without going online. Keep up the great work, clean store, and friendly service! read more

I go out of the way to go to this Target over the one closest to my house because whenever I am looking for something, this Target has it in stock. It's a large Target with covered parking underneath (perfect for hot days or rainy weather). I always end up coming in for one thing and leaving with more than I need. One downside is I noticed yesterday that clothes seemed to be placed on random hangers so the size did not match up at all. I felt like every item I picked up was a different size than the hanger indicated. I mentioned it to one worker and she just said that they were aware of it. Hoping that something is done because I could see someone accidentally taking home the wrong size during these COVID times when the dressing room is closed. read more

I wanted to order two items through Target online service, then, pick up items at that store. One item they did not have in stock. The other item that I ordered was in stock so I drove to the Brea store for pickup. The clerk said that this item was NOT in stock. He told me that this item was in stock at Puente Hills and another store. My complaint is 1. if item is not in stock, don't show it on their site. 2. for benefit of a customer, the Brea store could get the item transferred from an another store to the Brea store rather than send a customer shopping at another store. What's the point of shopping online to pick up at the Brea store if I have to track down that item at another store?! My time was wasted!! Will not shop online with Target. read more
