On the week days after school this target will allow high school kids just run around and play around the store making it hard for people to shop. I could see if they are buying things but they are not they are sitting on furniture in the baby area and just playing all round the store making it my least favorite target. read more

Despite what was sure to be an expensive renovation, it appears to be only gilded. Customer service of their employees remains apathetic. The men's section is in shambles and quite disorganized. Several items are unfolded and on the floor. Worst of all is the state of the bathrooms. A coat of paint and new tile make them look nice at a glance, but they are still dirty, full of a sewage stench, and the sinks fail to drain. I guess the woodlands location will continue to get my business. read more

The online orders are usually fast but they will pull a slick one if they don't feel like working. I've called the curbside line 10 minutes in a row after being hung up on repeatedly. Be fr. This target is gotta be the worse target I've been to. On a busy Saturday they have two lanes open with a line down the hall, no one helping at self check out, random things just scattered across the whole store, nothing restocked. Even the Starbucks was a mess with one girl working and just a lot of annoying customers. I'd rather drive an extra 20mins to go to the woodlands target just to avoid this one. Drama is the last thing you want to be dragged into when you leave the house to go shopping. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to me when I visited the Conroe Target. Although the rest of the store offered an inviting shopping experience, as I was getting my groceries checked out, the cashiers were making fun of each other. After the other two cashiers left, one of them (Tyler) complained to me that his coworkers "are all messy" and that the atmosphere is toxic. Later, he complained to me about one of his coworkers reporting him to HR for flipping her off. It felt like I was being dragged into something that wasn't any of my business, so I didn't comment about it. The situation seemed pretty bizarre, but I was willing to give the store the benefit of the doubt. During my next visit, I was shocked to discover that despite doing all I could to avoid the toxicity in the checkout area, I'd been sucked into the drama. To my face and with everyone watching, Tyler began spreading rumors accusing me of stealing. He then demanded that I take my hands out of my pockets. I laughed, knowing that I'd done nothing wrong. Once I left, I made sure to take screenshots of the transaction on my bank statements and note the time of the incident. Although Target offers a wide selection of products, I can't recommend this store to others. Getting dragged into issues, the store should've resolved and accused of stealing has diminished the service of this store far below similar ones in the area. Hopefully, this store is capable of resolving these issues, and I can report a positive experience. read more

This target has gone downhill... I went Saturday morning 2/10 around 9am and the beauty section was a mess. Trash on the shelves, disorganized and dirty. There was an employee stocking but that energy should be focused on taking a quick run through of the aisles to get the trash off of the shelves and at a minimum straightening up the scattered products before adding new products. This isn't the first time I've seen it in this condition but there was no excuse for it to be dirty when the store had only been open for an hour. I was looking at a product on a shelf that had three pieces of trash on it and you could see it was a mess from 10 feet away. I even straightened up the finer'y perfumes because I couldn't see what scents there were as they were a jumbled mess and just thrown there. When I was in the grocery section a couple of weeks ago, I saw multiple items past the expiration date. Overall not the absolute worst target you could shop at but Conroe only has one and it should be kept up way better than it currently is. read more

Walked around store "killing time" before doctor appointment down the road. I was surprised to see the amount of starbucks, whataburger and chipotle cups throughout that store. I realize it's most likely disrespectful customers, just surprised the target morning crew didn't noticed all the trash left on the shelves. And shame on lazy adults leaving their garbage on a stores shelf ... I can only wonder what your homes look like. read more

The Conroe location is okay. I often notice that their shelves aren't as stocked and organized as they used to be. During the school year, teenagers from the nearby high school can be seen running around and shouting across the store to their friends during the after school hours, so that's a bit annoying because it is just common courtesy to be respectful of public areas where other people are present. I frequented Target a lot less due to this issue although at some point I did notice law enforcement outside, so I hope they addressed the loitering and environmental disruption to customers' shopping experience. The staff is friendly and helpful with purchases and returns. Target is always a little pricier than a place like Walmart but it's worth it sometimes for better quality and selection. read more

STEP IT UP!! What is wrong with the demographics here? Conroe is going to be the next big thing and yet this store is always out of small sizes, the styles are crap compared to other Targets I visit, and for the love of DOGs why can they not do what Kroger does and track the lines via staff or cameras??? It's totally unacceptable and maddening to have only 2 cashiers backed up at peak hours!!! Besides that I love your card sections and the Target brand products are solid. I just wish there were truly deals to be had in this store. Most of the deals are terrible, poorly made, ill fitting clothes! No thanks. That is all. read more

Target has made its case against the nearest competition by keeping their prices just a bit higher, thus keeping the clientele a little nicer. This location is located in a shopping center with several businesses near by. There are places to eat like 5 Guys Burgers, Chick-fil-a, Chipotle, Vero's Italian Kitchen, & Schlotzkys. There are also other shops, including Best Buy, Pier 1, Office Depot, Home Depot, and some smaller shops. Parking is plentiful. I like Target because they have a good selection at good prices. They have a food court too. I like the Cartwheel App because you can find items that will give you a discount (usually between 5-20%). It's a little annoying that they ask you every time when you check out if you'd like to save 5% with the Red Card, but you just politely refuse and pay with your card or cash. Or get it! I'm not telling you what to do. :) read more

This is an extremely disappointing Target. It's an old store. So as far as that goes... You can only expect so much. I came in for some specific pumpkins. The store wasn't too busy. Plenty of Cashiers and employees around. BUT, the store was such a mess. The clothes were strewn everywhere women and children's. The seasonal section looked like it was thrown straight out of the boxes onto the shelves. I couldn't find anything! A small, outdated Target that leaves you feeling lost a severely disappointed. Probably best to visit this location first thing in the morning. read more

I had made an online order for in store pickup for the first time. Long story short, there were issues and I was told my order had been canceled when I went to pick it up. The clerk at customer service was less than friendly, however, I spoke to a manager named Lindsey and she was amazing!!! She went above and beyond to ensure I got my order and even provided a discount without me asking! I really appreciate all of her help and time to make my experience great!! read more

Don't try and get anyone on the phone for a simple question , I called at 9 am (store opens at 8) get put on hold and nothing ......... call back multiple times no answer in ANY department , when I worked for target this would've been unacceptable. What really bothers me is the person who answered the first time didn't know the answer to my question and instead of figuring it out herself left me on the phone on hold . read more

My son needed a set of headphones for home schooling, knowing how dingy/disgusting the walmart is in Conroe we thought Target might be a slightly better choice, turns out we were totally wrong. Stock was very picked over (to be expected at some level), best buy was pickup only so we braved the virus carrying masses as Target, got in line paid quickly no problems to speak of. Got home, tried the laptop, microphone on the headphones didn't work, so tried an ipad, ps4, nintendo, nope they sold us a pair of broken headphones. Oh great so I have to return them, walked into customer service to see a sign they're not taking returns (at all). No where was this posted, not at the door, not at the registers, nowhere aside from customer service worse the lady running customer service was downright rude and had absolutely no courtesy at all, she was about as friendly as a bag of snakes.. I get it it's a pandemic, but you sold me a broken item and then were downright rude and abrasive, on what planet is this considered good customer service? Avoid this particular Target. read more

Beats Wally World!!! This store is smaller than most and, as such, has a smaller selection. But it's way nicer than the Wal-Mart down the street. I've learned this is a 'training' store and that's why the staff at times isn't fully knowledgeable, but they have always been helpful. I like the Red Card program and have saved a lot using it. I've found I can usually get 90-95% of what I need at Target vs. Wal-Mart. The grocery section is decent for not being a full blown grocery store. I could see them needing a few more items, but all in all I've enjoyed shopping here. read more

I hate walmart and love Target...but this location leaves a bit to be desired. There have been too many instances where employees have been incredibly rude to me or my kids over things that are just not necessary. While others are incredibly nice and overly accommodating. The main issue I have with this store is that they do not mark shelves or price correctly in their system. I catch pricing errors at check out way too often. I've even gone through the store and pulled sale tags from shelves that are way past their sales period. Staff will put new ones out but won't take old ones off. They also stock in incorrect places so when you pull something you should usually double check that a) it's in the right place and is correctly priced and b) that any sale or promotion is actually currently running and isn't incorrectly tagged. Current issue: my shampoo has been out of stock for weeks and they have none in the back and don't know when any will arrive. But they do still carry it...and I can't find that size bottle anywhere else. I had to buy more smaller ones to fill my bottle with the pump. (Poor me and my sad shampoo problems.) read more

His friendly tone of voice on the phone reassured me that they did have the item in stock and would gladly assist me when I got there. The bathrooms in this store are FILTHY AND DISGUSTING! When covid first broke out, they were keeping things really clean. But as time went on, the cleanliness declined to an unacceptable level. I stop in multiple times a week and every single time I go into the bathroom to wash my hands and it's so nasty I won't even use the toilets! YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO STEP IT UP. I hate Walmart. Did I mention I hate Walmart? Sam Walton should be turning over in his grave for the deterioration of his empire he was so proud of. Because of their greedy employment practices, I avoid them like Ebola. The Conroe Target is a refreshing contrast to its competitor. This store is always clean, brightly lit, comfortable temperature, clean baskets in generous supply, and staffed with plenty of helpful people. The prices are reasonable and I usually can find everything I come in for. AND... back after Hurricane Ike, when we were without power, this store allowed us to hook up a nebulizer machine at a cash register to give my disabled sister a breathing treatment she needed, saving us a trip to a bacteria-laden ER and a half-day's wait to get a 20 minute treatment. We LOVE this Target! I give this Target store two thumbs up and 100 cool points. read more

This is like most any other target... It is clean and well organized for the most part. There is a mini-grocery section here with limited refrigerated and frozen food. There are occasionally really good deals on food so keep and eye out on their weekly ad. There is a fair selection of clothing for women, men, and girls but a very limited clothing selection for boys and infants. This is also a great place to find great back-to-school deals in season. I shop her often enough. read more

This is the worst Target in the area! Not only is the store regularly messy and out of stock, but team members care more about talking to each other or using their phones than helping customers. On one occasion my cashier was texting on her phone while ringing me up! I told the supervisor and she didn't even apologize or say that was unprofessional.
