I went to return watershoes i bought for my son and the elastic broke on them as soon as he put them on. We were away for the weekend in the mountains so he had no choice but to wear broken shoes. When i went to return them. A lady at the customer service was rudw and she pushed them back at me wheni tried sliding them over to her. was just at target trying to buy a Google home mini and a Google chrome cast. the guy helping us was super friendly but struggling since it was only his second day working there, totally understandable. he was left there alone without supervision so when it was time to pay he didnt 100% know how to use the register or how to take off the security tag. he called for help 4 times until someone finally came in to help but when the supervisor came all she did was get annoyed at him for calling for help and not pressing the "total" button. not his fault he didnt know, the person training him didnt do a good job. overall got annoyed that he was left alone and because she supervisor snapped at him when he genuinely needed help. read more

I haven't been to Target as much, since the renovations. The renovations made the place bigger and a grocery section was added. I am however, too used to the placement of the old Target and can't find anything at this place anymore! Target has pretty good prices and they have everything. read more

Being in customer service myself, this is the WORST customer service I have ever received. Called this target store multiple times over the last 24 hours for a crib they had on clearance. Told them my husband would be driving an hour + to pick it up and when he got there today he was given attitude, they couldn't locate the crib. I then called and turns out the crib had been sent out on a truck earlier today. You would think they would offer us a discount on another crib for it being THERE mistake but they didn't, you think they would offer to have it shipped from one of there stores out of state to our house, but they didn't. Clearly this stores employees are not on the same page, and need to get there shit straight because they are giving target a bad name. read more

Who doesn't love Target???!! Great values and quality has improved over the years. Nice one-stop shopping for housewares, hardware, baby items, etc. Since this is a Greatland, it has a very nice selectio of items. I like to go in the weekend mornings to avoid the rush. Their clearance/sale sections are pretty great. You can find really great deals if you have the patience to look through the racks. The only thing is a lot of the workers seem really disgruntled and lackluster. I guess good service is hard to find. read more

Started with speaking with a polite teenage girl, wondering if I could get some boxes for a small move. She immediately got the attention of Devon, a supervisor. He was fantastic. Of course every time you go to target you go there on purpose and they usually have what you are looking for. Though the aisle's are very small which makes it very difficult to drive your cart without having to dodge or avoid a kart that may come your way, but overall great store most of the time have what I am looking for and is in a great center with plenty of little shops around so you can usually hit two birds with one stone in that center. read more

This target is always busy, always. It doesn't matter when you go there are always gobs of people getting lost or staring at an item for 10 minutes. I have found that it is busier than the other targets in the area therefor there is a good reason as to why they are never well stocked. -- the sheer volume of customers in comparison to what is legitimately given to the store to sell for that month or week. And , I find that some guests are just plain rude to each other and to the workers. (calling all of those who are judging others on their appearance and temporary state of personality! they could be just having a bad day!). Though it is difficult to find some one to help you when you need it :I I'd suggest that they hire more floor employees or work the ones they have. Personally I am not a fan of the remodel or the store change at all, I find that the double stacked registers are a pain to navigate, and that there is always a cluster of confused, angry guests who just want to check out. There is only one door to get in and out of, in which people are constantly flowing in and out (as well as leaving their carts in front of if like their children leaving the lane barbies every where), I hate that it looks like a wal*mart because of the overwhelming amount of florescent lighting and the lack of windows. I don't think the grocery area is that big of a deal nor does it have a great selection. So I don't know where people are getting the rave reviews about that at all. They obviously don't price compare between stores. And what is really annoying is the solicitors that hang out in front of the store's exit, some of them are extremely rude individuals who have no business being in public or representing their cause :I Other then that I enjoy meandering through the store and some times finding deals on things that I may have wanted. read more

Ordered a patio umbrella from target.com. Turned out there was a leak in the base so water would not stay in properly. Called customer service and they bent over backwards to solve the problem in a way that was most convenient for me. Very impressed. read more

I know it seems like Target must have so many reviews and everyone probably knows about how great the store is, but I have to give my opinion as well. This store is fantastic. I just bought the cutest workout clothes and they were so incredibly inexpensive compared to the alternatives that I would have bought at Nordstroms or LuLu Lemon (which is so incredibly expensive!). I have received so many compliments on my workout outfits and I am always so happy to share that I got them at Target! I really like all of the clothing at Target. Also, the people who work there for the most part (strong majority) always seem to be really helpful and just really 'happy' to have a job working for Target! read more

Very clean and organized. Employees are friendly and cheerful. One of the nicer target stores around in north county. Parking lot is not cramped like other locations- lots of room! There's always a great selection of different items in the dollar section here. My daughter is in love with all of the cute stickers and all the items specifically available for a toddler. She loves shopping here with me, which I love. They have a wider selection of clothing for toddlers as well, and they always have plenty of cashiers to check you out despite what time it is ( other locations sometimes will only have one lane open, even when the line is ridiculously long ! Not a fan of that at all. I pass by at least three other target locations because they are not even worth going to. I would rather spend the extra dollar for gas because I know it's worth it! And I don't spend more time in line waiting than it takes me to shop for a week of groceries ! read more

This Target is great, never had a problem here, and everything I've bought has been at a reasonable price. Now, the reason I'm giving three stars rather than the five that Target deserves, is because of the pathetic excuse for a Starbucks they have in there. I only came to this Starbucks because the one I usually go to by the Barnes and Noble is closed for remodeling. When I arrived there was only one woman in front of me in line, attempting to order a grande iced skinny vanilla latte. But I waited for at least four or five minutes, because the girl working the register couldn't seem to grasp what this customer wanted. Really? It wasn't a difficult drink. But she kept scratching out what she'd written on the cup, and eventually trashed it and started over, and finally got it right. The customer was being perfectly clear too! Anyways, I finally got to order my drink, and it was the same problem. I know my drink is a bit complicated, but I went through it slowly and step by step, and she kept struggling to understand what I wanted. No other Starbucks has EVER had that sort of an issue. "Sooo... you want to do double the milk?" No, what part of HALF soy and HALF whole milk don't you understand? I must've said it three times. When she handed it to the girl making drinks, she clarified what I wanted for the milk, and the other girl scoffed and made a face like I was being a pain in her ass. Come on... I added an extra five seconds of time to that drink, stop being so dramatic. Finally I paid and went to wait by the bar... and waited well over five minutes for my drink, which was absurd considering there were FOUR people behind the bar and only one person in front of me waiting for her drink. It looked like they were just standing around, not doing anything besides socializing with one another. And when I finally got my drink, it was a very pale beige, almost white, instead of the standard brown color I've come to expect. I took a sip and it was disgustingly sweet, it tasted like straight up milk and syrup. I asked if they could add some more coffee to it and they did so, but only after some very unhappy expressions and a significant amount of time. Now I think I understand the problem here: these are TARGET employees, not Starbucks employees. They're baggers and cashiers posing as baristas. No wonder they have no clue what they're doing. Starbucks would be ashamed to have people like this working in their stores; at my usual Starbucks they're always very happy, completely unfazed by my semi-complicated drink, and have it ready within a minute or two, and it's always unfailingly delicious and perfect. People, go to Target for whatever you need, but steer clear of the Starbucks inside. They're incompetant at best and downright atrocious at worst. read more

The store is good. Typically well maintained. But recently at this location as well as Vista location, I have noticed a rather odd thing. Lots of Christmas cheer, songs, items to purchase. But the banner at front of store says Feliz Navidad. I asked the checkout clerk, she thought it was odd as well and brought over another clerk - that there was not a similar banner that says Merry Christmas. She said it was because Target was being 'politically correct'. Huh?? Can we not say Merry Cristmas or even Happy Holidays? Seriously. But Feliz Navidad is politically correct. This is by far the WORST Target I have ever been in. I usually enjoy going to Target, but I dread going into this one. It is cramped and the selection is really slim. Everything seems squeezed in. The "grocery" section is nothing to get excited about. They are always out of things I need, and I always see shelves that are empty. This Target needs a serious overhaul. Target is for Blue State Americans like Costco, but Walmart is for Red State folks which means they are clueless about the food we want to eat. I like Target but there's one thing that they fail at like most/every other store also doesn't do. Real humans doing real customer service. How so? Will they let you talk on their landline or the salesperson's cell phone like at Walmart just 2 blocks away? NO. And I'm talking about for TWO HOURS, and NOT just once but over and over again (to get my cell phone provider too make my service work). And another thing, they like Walmart doesn't take care of their employees like...Costco does!!! Plus Costco has tasty food for the public at large for a good price...all the time they're open. Target merely follows the pack, like when they wouldn't take my flat screen TV back when those 1st came out. You can count on corporate policy to suck, just like the status quo all around the nation. I love Target in Encinitas. We camp at Carlsbad every year and I spend a half a day "all by myself" check out all the cool stuff. ( I have a Target by my home in Long Beach, but never have time to really shop.) I always add to my camping equipment and get all my food, drink, health aids, etc. Can wait for camping week. read more

I go to Oceanside Target and they all have the," deer caught in the headlights" look and are clueless, so called Manager , "Gina H" says, We can not do that it is against City ordinance( Complete Lie) Manager has no Clue what she is talking about. Tells me I have to go to another store maybe Murietta Store, I say "Call them and make sure since you don't know what the procedure is and I already did my homework" . Store Manager can not even Call Murietta Store. She tries like 4 times and even gets an employee to let her use her cell phone. Still Can not get through, I say give me the number , I call and it is an out of service number. Manager doesn't even get that the phone number is a disconnected number. Left store and called other stores that are listed on website, and none of them can help me. I call customer service 1-800 # from home and spend way to much time talking to corporate office. They finally tell me to go to San Clemente Target. I call San Clemente target Thurs Night and the electronics guy there said, Come in anytime before Close of Business Sat. I say, " Are You Sure?" I am driving a long distance, 30mi. " I arrive at San Clemente Target at noon, and guess what, the mobile Target iPad dudes don't work on Friday, " I say WTF and then they have to deal with a very pissed off old lady. The teenager in Charge called Julie, did assure me there was Nothing she could do. I was totally unimpressed until she could at least phone the Murietta store. (She's so awesome she should train Oceanside store how to call other Target Stores) Finally I spoke to the field manager of mobile target what ever, and guess what ........are you ready ,...... yes... he was at the Oceanside store two hours after I was there, accepting iPads from customers. I almost blew my cork. This is why I don't do electronics from Stupid Chain Stores. Big Fail.
