My son and I came here on our way home from Gilbert, as he wanted to look for books and clothes. He felt the cost wasn't worth the pants he wanted, but he did select a book he was happy with. The store is pretty clean, and items are easy to find. There was a good selection of vegan shampoo, though not a large variety of fragrances or handbags. Their office section is lacking as well in the way of variety. We also really enjoyed the Starbucks inside the store. They sell cookies shaped and iced like the Bullseye dog mascot but they don't have a lot in the way of collectible cups. The service was good though, and the employees were all helpful at the checkout lanes. Good experience overall, but not where I'd go to look for specific items except the purple Kurig (which was pretty cool). read more

This isnt my favorite location to go to but it is one of my options when picking which Target I feel like driving too. The clothing and merchandise selection is decent and workers are usually friendly when checking us out. Shoes tend to always be a mess and the fitting room always has a mountain of clothes on the counter. It's also typical to find clothing on the floor but that's thanks to customers that cant pick stuff they drop up. An Ulta dept. is being added here so hopefully that goes well. read more

Unfortunate that I come in (not necessarily this location) but purchase things and I really appreciate the atm's that are located inside. My bank specifically only allows the all point atms. So when I get cash it's convenient but I can't get change. I kindly ask for change for my 20 dollar bill because the atms can't give 10s. And the customer service lady at return area spoke over the young lady going to help me, and said no you have to buy something. I stated even if I just used the atm here, she said no. Well god dammit can't even get change. With this economy I'm not needing to purchase a dam thing today but if I ever do need anything I'll definitely not purchase here. However, since Target has decided to no longer support diversity and equity as a private company, I can no longer shop here. COVID Rating: Average Staff are wearing masks and customers are required to wear masks. The Self Check Out kiosks are being cleaned and wiped down between customers. The dressing rooms are closed. Better keep your receipt! Now I have to return. I appreciate the Recycling bins located at the front. Target accepts more types of items for recycling than most retailers at an individual store. Items include bottles; plastic or glass and aluminum cans. Electronics- Cell Phones and MP3 players (Generation Z, google it or ask Siri). I generally like this Target. It is usually clean and the employees are mostly friendly and helpful. I realize that we are living in strange times. There was a sign on the outside door that said they were limiting purchases of some items, which I agree with. Unfortunately there was no paper towels, toilet tissue, bleach, hand soap, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, frozen vegetables. I'm not sure what people do that do not hoard products. Also, I don't purchase their clothing, although some are cute, as they fall apart quickly. read more

I have 2 Targets about equal distance from my home. I have always preferred this location. The store is extremely clean and organized. Right now they are going through a remodel and their store is still clean, I'm amazed! The customer service I have received there is far above what I have received at other Target stores. Anytime I have asked about an item that I can not find, they check the computer to see stock levels not only at their store but other local Targets. I've had an employee that was clocked out take a moment to show me the location simply because I looked lost. I've asked them questions that I didn't expect them to have the answer to like "Why is my app not working?" Not only did the associate find someone that could help me (I was honestly expecting a phone number to the tech department at corporate) but I got a short lesson on some feature I didn't know was available on the app. The store is going through a remodel and I love what I have seen so far! 50%, 75%, 90% OFF is a challenging time for after Christmas retail. Is it just that they do not want to store until next year or do the like the game to close up the year. You know who was not having a good day in order pickup/exchange/returns last night or today. Going forward, we do not like any energy vampires in any retail venue, also we almost do not shop at this store as we do not want to return on her shift. The next day, when that same in customer service employees goes on break, her replacement is much different in style, the atmosphere changed and we brought some returns. The register was not crediting one at a time??? Why does Managment keep people where they do not belong, better yet why do people work were they do not like their job. Make it an ideal world: please go find your passion and go do it. Sabrina was perfect as she and her coworker took care of customer service, efficient and patient and enjoyed there job, had fun with the customers. The Quest for Righteous Skivvies... I'm a long-time shopper at Target (pronounced "tar-zhay", of course), but never have I had so many different storefronts to choose from as when living in the Phoenix metropolitan area. As a matter of a fact, I didn't even know this Target existed until I decided I needed to explore the hidden strip malls and unfamiliar terrain that is Gilbert. To no avail, I had already visited two other Targets to find more XL Champion long boxer-briefs, my newest discovery and must-haves for total workout comfort. See, I've always been kind of a fat boy, so my thighs rub together and chafe during sessions on the treadmill or when running. I thought I had conquered this nuisance by wearing compression (yes, spandex) shorts under my workout shorts, but that solution only predicated a new irritation... to my precious man-junk. The spandex shorts I was wearing have a longitudinal seam that acts as a crosscut saw on my satchel. It was becoming a huge deterrent to the frequency of my workouts, as it required a bit of recovery between sessions... and the application of a soothing salve. Target to the rescue! This Target store had a decent inventory of the prized undergarments I sought. It must be the superior engineering of the "tech performance mesh pouch" that has brought me (and my boys) enhanced comfort and ventilation. With fresh grundies in tow, I am now able to make the following pledge to my scrotum: "You, who have suffered so much for so long, shall no longer be mistreated by a poorly-engineered garment! Ummm rude! I purchased an item which rang up $29.99 and didn't realize until after we paid. Because I am a store manager and understand things can ring up differently I went ALL the way to AISLE E29 AT THE BACK CORNER OF THE STORE to go double check that I saw the price was $24.99. It was and I took a picture. I go back up and talk to a nice girl and she looked at the picture I took, zoomed in on the product number, matched it up to the item I had and said sorry we will take care of that and directed me to the exchange counter. When I go to the counter, NICK asked what I needed and I let him know that the item I purchased rang up differently. I show him the picture. And he has the nerve to say "I will only do this, this time because we don't change prices from pictures and because she told me to." And I said "oh, I just took a picture of the sign so you guys wouldn't have to run to the back of the store..." (like I just did for them) Nick please adjust your attitude and customer service skills. I get it's closing time and your probably tired but count your blessings. I go to many targets for drive up. This has to be the slowest target I have ever been to for drive up. I go to this one since it is close to my work and anytime I have come whether I'm the only car or one of 5 cars there is always a 15+ minute wait time. So if you have a drive up order, beware to wait for a long time at this target location. read more

Our anniversary was a few months ago however we never got a chance to get our pictures taken. I've been looking for a place that would take great pictures, but without paying a gigantic price. Took a risk and decided I was going to experiment and give Target Studio a shot. I checked out their samples before making my appointment and they looked pretty damn good & they are reasonably priced. I made the appointment online, and got there about five minutes early, our appointment was at 1:10pm, and they didn't get us in until 1:30pm, I was still OK with that since they explained that they had a big group prior to us and they let us know that we would be next. Alysia is the lady who took our pictures. She was creative when it came to instructing us on posing and made it fun to take pictures, and she was able to capture our personality in the pictures she took of us. After we were done taking photos, she showed us the pictures on the computer and we selected that ones we liked. She was even able to email us the photos although they not printable, basically it's just for viewing. They are currently running a special of 20 percent off any collection. I was very impressed! I can't wait to pick them up when they are ready. read more

Me and my son went on 09/12/23 and was looking for a movie titled Beetlejuice. I found one and I was wondering if they have the Halloween edition. The associate ( a heavy set guy with long hair) was sitting down on the floor putting price tags on so I asked if he can do a stock check for me. Without even standing up, he just said that "he" is very aware of what's i. Stock and he said that there was only 2 copies and it was sold out a while ago. To my amazement, he doesn't even know that I have one on hand. I asked another gentleman for his name and he said his name was Cal. What a sad Target this has become. We lived near this location when it first opened many years ago and spent many hours happily shopping here. Being in the neighborhood, I stopped in today and saw how rundown it's become. How can an entire store feel grubby and smell like urine? Probably from the dirty looking industrial carpet throughout the store. The bathrooms looked and smelled worse. This location is due for an update. The shoe department was a mess. The employees I dealt with were not helpful. The high point was the large and relatively clean dressing rooms. read more

The layout is a little hard to figure out, things are spread out so you have to wander a little to find what you want. Management was aggressive and so unfriendly. I try to stay positive as much as possible, but this store has left me super disappointed in Target, after being a fan for a long while. This was all over a small box of markers that rang up $30 more than what was posted. I genuinely thought it was an accidental mislabel, as they were a small box of markers posted as $3.99 and rang up as $39.99. When I told the nice cashier, she got help over - Catherine came to 'assist'. Catherine immediately looked at me and said she wouldn't lower the price to what was marked. I asked if I could show her where I got them so we can see if there was a mislabel or an actual issue. Aggressively, she again said no she wasn't giving me that price. As it's illegal to not honor the marked price, I asked her again if I could just show her so we could try and sort out the issue (no one was in line behind me at this point). She said she wouldn't go look and wouldn't lower the price to less than $10. When I asked to talk to the manager, she wouldn't allow me to talk to anyone else and said that was her (she later said was was senior team lead when I took it for the record). When I said i wanted to record this, as I was shocked by her unwillingness help or even troubleshoot, she said no. So I opened my note pad to write down the situation. For the record, I stayed calm, said I was in business and was shocked at how she was not even willing to look at the item in question. I said I wasn't buying them but since I had to get to the hospital (I was buying gifts for a patient in recovery), I needed to go get different coloring pencils. When I came back, Catherine ignored me as she rang me up. I tried to diffuse her by saying I hope her day got better as it's obviously been challenging today, (because she was fuming before she even came over to me). She went onto say she was perfectly fine in a sharp tone. I then just said, don't worry, I will take my business elsewhere next time, as I really didn't appreciate the way she has treated me and I really feel bad for her employees if this was her 'fine'. Probably not the best thing to say to an aggressive person who was rude from the start, I realize - but she was obviously on a power kick and I really do feel sorry for those having to work for someone like that. She then said I was about to be banned from the store, to which I repeated - I will willingly avoid this store - and left. This is sad as I've typically liked Target, but I cannot in good conscience go back where customer service like this is encouraged. It wasn't even that big of a deal, but she was so aggressive from the beginning, it was unfortunate. For this stores sake, I hope they re-train this person on how to better manage a pricing discussion. I ultimately didn't care; I got new pens, but the instant aggression was uncalled for. read more

Me and family had our Christmas photos done this last weekend and they turned out beautiful! Best family pictures we have had done. The girls that helped us where very patient with my two year old who was a little difficult to direct. But they did a great job of getting her to smile and pose in certain ways. The prices are pretty good if you have a coupon. We didn't but the girls gave us one anyways. We got 20 pictures for $100.00 and we got the digital files. We also got. 50$ gift card for the next photo session. We also didn't have to wait two weeks like some places, they were emailed to us not even an hour later and because we got them so early I was able to make Christmas cards and get them sent out in plenty of time! I would absolutely recommend using target portrait studios to any of my friends and family and will definitely be back! read more

I bought a pair of Beats Headphones online at a great sale price during their 3 day super sales in July. A few hours later, I received an email saying they were ready to be picked up. I also received and email saying thank you for picking them up! However, they were not picked up by me!! When my husband went to enquirer what was going on, the employees at the service desk could not find them and told us to call the customer service number. I wanted Target to replace the item since they were at a great sale price but they decided to refund my money. The refund was ok but I feel they should have replaced the item. Don't buy high ticket items online at this Target. Obviously, someone did not do a their job of verifying the identity of the buyer and gave my item to someone else. So disappointed. read more
