This target was remodeled so nice, to bad many of the employees aren't. They are either really nice and knowledgeable, or so rude and not helpful at all. We asked a guy that was stocking in the fruit area where something was and he's like "I do t know." Me: do u know who we can ask? Him: no. And goes back to stocking. 2 girls were at the fitting room just talking and all the rooms were full of clothes. They were still there talking after we came out. I have been shopping at this Target once to twice a week for 11 years and loving how organised it was and closest is to my home. Hi could find everything I needed, It was one stop shopping. However, with this new remodel, I dread going. I can't seem to find anything I'm looking for. Either the item isn't where you would expect it to be or they no longer carry the item. In addition to this disappointment, there are so many displays in the isles you can't get around the other shoppers. Every time I make a Target Run since the remodel, I leave feeling frustrated and Exasperated. I wish they had left it how it was. Bad choice Target!! read more

This is a regular Target store nothing special. It's huge but not very clean or well stocked. I got what I needed and I was going to go to the Starbucks inside their store but it was so dirty... the floors and tables. Bottom line its Target. They have the basics. You can run in and run out because they have ample parking. Don't forget to bring your bags. read more

Pam, the "manager" of the eye care section has the worst customer service skills. She is belittling, demeaning and not very helpful. Target has a policy if the price doesn't match the display, you get the lower price. Not according to Pam. Because she's the manager of that section. She let me know a few times. I've always loved this target 5 stars for the store overall, 4 stars for the photo center. Oh my goodness ! One of the machines wasn't working(I was not aware if this fact) and several employees walked by and saw me working on my pictures when I get to the end to checkout and print the machine isn't responding to certain things so I finally ask for help from the very reluctant employees and two respond by saying "oh yeah that one doesn't work" Are you kidding me!? So nothing left to do but restart my order and on the second machine - we'll an older lady proceeds to begin her order on said broken machine and I watch as the employees completely ignore her and do not let her know. Well I did and told her I'd be done shortly if she cared to wait. Another time the machine did not print my order and that isn't the employees fault - the young man who helped me was nice and tried to get it to work , nevertheless I left frustrated and without one of my prints . If you absolutely have no choice good luck! read more

I've been to this Target Store many times and was actually surprised to notice that I had not written a review before. Parking is always a concern, sometimes you get luck and other times you hike from the far corner of the lot. Inside the Target Store you will find the usual Target things. I ve brought my grand kids there to get that special something they deserve for birthdays or for stellar actions on their part at school or at home. It is easier to find toys or electronics or even snacks and clothes. The departments are typically clean and organized and well stocked with a good variety of selections. It is on these occasions that I'm glad to have this large Target Store nearby. Another reason I like Target Store in general is that if shirt or pants don't fit right, then the store is close enough to go back and make adjustment. We would continue shopping at this Target Store. read more

While I was shopping at this Target, I stopped by the Starbucks that is located inside. The young man, Waheed, who helped me with my coffee order was such a well-mannered individual. He truly represented himself (his mama did a good job!) and the Starbucks/Target brand well with his polite and positive attitude which is sadly rare these days. His high level of excellent customer service needs to be recognized and commended! I was so impressed with Waheed that I contacted Target and spoke to Jacob, Guest Services Team Lead. I hadn't been to Target for a few months, been going to WalMart. I went yesterday and was amazed at the transformation they have done. It now looks like a cross between Macy's, Dillards and a market. As much as the store looks "pretty", it just isn't "user friendly" as they say. I went for a specific wood floor product, some groceries and some greeting cards. About 10 minutes in, I heard people talking to each other about not finding what they wanted, where they used to be. As time went on, I was exhausted. Nothing was where it used to be and my "floor cleaner" was near the pet food??? Finally, an older couple and I hooked up to help each other find things, since we were both tired going up and down isles. I don't think there is anything here for me anymore. I'll continue to support WalMart and clothing I go to Macy's. Bye Bye Target. read more

This is the Target where I've been shopping for years. Today, Sunday after Black Friday, it was dirty, under stocked, with very few cashiers open, and long lines. The store wasn't very busy, not a lot of customers, but it was obviously under staffed. Management, please, staff correctly and have more cashiers open. If at some point there are no lines, you can send them to stock or clean up the very messy store. Target customers don't want Walmart service. And Walmart was way cleaner and had shorter lines than your store today. read more

I just tried to buy a Steam gift card for my son. I used a gift card that I had received as a gift and was told I cannot buy a Steam gift card with a gift card. Someone had given me a gift card for target, and I am not allowed to buy whatever I want with it because I can only buy what target wants me to buy with it. I will NEVER buy a target gift card for anyone ever again, and as soon as these gift cards are spent, I will never shop here again. read more

I was in the area(a rarity for me considering this isn't exactly in my neck of the woods) and was in need for some auto supplies. Lucky for me, Target was close by. Wow! Probably one of the cleanest Target locations I have ever been to. Right in Fountain Valley, this Target has everything neatly organized. The staff here were just helpful. It looks like most other Target locations. I just saw this one as a much cleaner location. Maybe it was the fact that it was located in the OC. Either way, I was able to find what it was I was looking for. Yay!! read more

When I first started yelping I thought it was lame that ppl reviewed their local department stores, grocery stores, fast food joints etc. All chains are pretty much cookie-cutterey by design right? Isn't that the point? Why MY review of this Target isn't lame; Valuable late breaking news: They are building out a whole produce/fresh foods section (completed around the middle of Oct) in the back by the refrigeration area. YAY! I will only need to go to Smart n Final for their incomparable beer and wine prices. I used to buy a lot of stuff at the new Super Smart n Final down the street, but discovered that eggs, yogurt, lunch meat, and cheese are all cheaper here. And soon, fresh stuff as well. Sweeeeeet. And yes, my Target's staff is better and friendlier than yours. My Target is cleaner and laid out better than yours. My Targets parking lot is easier to deal with than yours. This review is strictly for the pharmacy. I went to the ER with some really bad shoulder pain the doctor gave me one prescription with two different medications on it. I get in line and ask how long because my pain level is at 10 by this time. The girl says about 15 minutes. So I come back 15 minutes later to pick up my prescription she says its $10 I ask really for two meds only $10? She says yep that's it. Cool I pay and I go. Well low and behold I get home there's only one prescription filled!?! Granted I should've checked the bag but at the time I asked her about the pricing because it was cheap for norco and flexeril. So I called the pharmacy to inquire and she proceeds to tell me oh we can only fill one because they aren't on separate prescription. Well okay, but that's not my fault nor hers however I would've appreciated her saying that during drop off. The conversation continues and she then asks me to bring the original copy of the prescription. Like really!?! You have the original which she agreed with. Ugh how do you expect one to produce something that is in YOUR possession. Overall bad experience and poor customer service. read more

We only went in for a couple of things and only came here because we needed to go to Trader Joe's which was right down the street. Lupita the Target Store Manager is very unprofessional and extremely rude. If you have any problems she refuses to help in any way and automatically blames the situation on the customer without fixing the problem..... Target has their weekly deals when you buy certain items you get a $5 Gift Card back in return. Well I received my gift card after my purchase but come to find out after my next visit my card was never activated. Lupita refused to help me and told me over and over it was my fault for not keeping track of my spending and there was nothing she could do about it. read more

I love Target but I often dread going to this one because there is always someone outside collecting for some "charity" or another that I have never heard of. It wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't so persistent and rude. I only donate to charities I have heard of, and I certainly do not donate to people sitting outside the store. I do try to avoid going here if I see people sitting outside, I head to Kohls instead. Also, their photo department is terrible!! I had some professional photos printed here and the prints looked like they were colored with crayons! Absolutely terrible. I later found out that they get at least 5 complaints per day about the quality of the prints but management doesn't do a thing about it. Stick with snapfish.com or Costco. Other than that the cashiers are generally pretty friendly and the store is clean. read more

(I got it from my mama ;) ) So I walked in to this Target ready to spend a couple of hours because that's just what I do when I go to a new Target. lol. Well let me just say that I was in love as soon as I walked to the women's clothing and saw ROWS of clearance. 30% :) 50% :D 75% :') This Target was poppin with clearance throughout the store. I got a cart full of things for like $45. Glorious, just glorious. And on top of that, it was REALLY clean and organized. Update: this store is still trash. Terrible customer service. I used to love coming here and now I don't know why I even bothered trying it again. And very poorly laid out even now. Seasonal section is as far from the entrance as possible. Clothing sections all over the place with no rhyme or reason. No staff to be found and when you finally get someone most of them treat you like crap. read more

I love this Target, go here all the time. I'm still gonna go here, but a little less often because of CVS... Here's my post about them, but Target gets dinged for doing business with them... This is the last time I ever go to a CVS. They refused to fill a Tylenol #3 prescription for my daughter, not because it is illegal to do so, but because, blah, blah, blah some government BS, blah, blah, blah doesn't recommend, blah, blah, blah. The first reason was that the prescription pad my dentist wrote it on has check boxes instead of circles. So, they call my dentist for verification, and everything checked out. Then they told me that because she's not 18 they won't fill it. They couldn't tell me that when I dropped it off? "Is this the law?" I ask. "No." She replied. "So this is just a judgement call by you, the pharmacist?" Then she rambled on about the new guidelines for the department of Government Overreach doesn't recommend... She must have wasted another 15 minutes trying over and over again to justify her actions. Would you like me to explain? No, I'm going to take this and all my future prescriptions elsewhere. So, two trips to CVS inside Target and I still need to get her prescription filled. I'm so sick and tired of the extremism of politics these days. When it is easier to get heroin than it is to get Tylenol 3, prescribed after oral surgery, the world is in trouble. I thought it was crazy that a pharmacist can override an oral surgeon, but that just happened. Well, not really. I just went to the next pharmacy, no problems. No problems with the prescription pad, no problems with my daughter's age, no problems. Except I dropped an extra $50 impulse buying Christmas tree ornaments. See Target! You lose too, because I will no longer be impulse buying from you while waiting for prescriptions to be filled. Anyways, if you want to push your political agenda, I'm not buying. I will never spend another dime at any CVS. It was bad enough when they stopped selling cigarettes because of health concerns. Weird that they didn't do the same for alcohol, but I digress. Today, I was helped by Deborah. She was working in the fitting room. I was looking for a particular swim trunk for my son. The Target App showed the item was in stock but I searched ALL over the Kids section (Toddler and Big Kids) and couldn't find the item. Checking the fitting room area was my last hope! She could've easily just said, "the item wasn't there in the fitting room" and i would've walked away. Instead, she used her inventory checker, walked me to the kids section again, looked for the item and continued by checking the back and found what I needed! I was ecstatic. Silly to be happy over a simple item.. I felt she went above and beyond my expectations. Her Customer Service was top notch. Target needs to hire more team members like Deborah!! My friends and I (HB locals and are born and raised here) have decided this Target all time SUCKS! It is always has low stock on everything, always disorganized, and is the lower end Targets around. I go here because it's very close to my house, but I really prefer the Costa Mesa or Westminster locations. This location doesn't get very good stuff.. the clothes/shoes are lacking and they don't seem to ever restock. Once something is gone, it's gone for good (at least in the apparel dept). I once had a semi issue with the security dude here, he was following me around, so I complained and I haven't seen him working there again ;) There's a Starbucks inside, which is kind of strange. Sometimes I go to Target for seasonal stuff. Still cheap, but way cuter stuff than Walmart, and generally a little better upkept. This Target is relatively newly built and redone, and feels a lot nicer than other ones in the area. The Harbor Blvd Target in CM is very crowded and feels like an old Shopko, gives me the creeps. The Santa Ana one on Bristol is right out. So when I feel an urge for bunny mugs or pumpkin candleholders, I run out to this one. My goal this time was an inexpensive but nice picture frame and a cute little stuffed puppy to cheer up a heartbroken friend, and I found both for under $10 bucks total in under 10 minutes total, checkout and all. Beat that! I wish they had self-checkout for when they get busier, but I didn't see any when I was there. Luckily, they had multiple lines open and they were moving fast. read more

I returned an item here and had no issue what so ever. Then 3 days later my friend tried to return the one they had bought, (found it cheaper at Bloomingdale's.) Then there was an issue. They claim that the system would not allow the return since it was over $100. What a lie! So I stepped in and told them they were lying since I just returned mine a few days earlier. Then they allowed it after being caught in their lie. When has it become ok for stores to lie to their customers? I can not stand a dishonest corporation. And Target has become just as bad as Walmart but you end up paying more since their prices are higher. I ask that everyone start boycotting stores that are dishonest, either through pricing discrepancies, lying to customers, or not following their return policy and make stuff up as they go. read more

Wow!!! Completely renovated, looks like a department store! Swing by and check it out. Starbucks is still there, so wooo-hoo!! But it's more spacious, easy to access (wider aisles), etc. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. It's why I opt to come to Target rather than Khols across the street. I'm floored with the bad comments on the right. They must be talking about the Target on Beach (near the freeway), because the one on Adams is NOTHING like what they're describing!! read more

The only thing standing between me and me being Troy Polamalu for Halloween was yellow pants (isn't it - no, isn't it - yes). So I went to the most logical place where I can find it - a big box retail store. Here's why. Last year, I was a Trix rabbit last year. A freaking huge ass Trix rabbit. And I made the damn costume myself because 1) it's more fun that way and 2) I'm not going to spend any more than $25 for any damn one night a year costume. And Target worked for me when I needed some white sweats for 4 bucks to fill out my costume. Sure, they were women's sweats, but can you really see a dude wearing white sweats? So I went to Target. And I saw sweats. Lots of them. Red. Orange. Pink. Blue. Turquoise. Freaking Turquoise! But no yellow. Really? And with that, my dreams of being a 6 foot tall ball of hair vanished. Next time, I'll come looking for something I know I will find at this Target: 1.Asian floozies 2. Babies 3. Wanna be Asian floozies and 4. By far the rudest cashiers around. I've had to take my business to the one on Beach where the customer service is much more superior. I like the convenience of the Adams location but I just can't do it anymore out of principle. Ahhhhh Target! How we all love Target....but how customer service can ruin a trip to Target (with No kids mind you!) I hate writing bad reviews. But this was such a horrible experience. A few weeks ago I had to run into Target on my way home from work.... fast forward to the checkout line. The cashier, Jordan was his name, proceded to tell me, and all the other patrons in his line, how tired he was, how much he hated his job, how being a cashier at Target was the biggest mistake of his life, etc etc etc. In between that, the front end manager and Jordan were yelling back and forth to each other about how stupid these lines were etc. Im sorry... but the last thing you want to hear as a customer is what a burden you are. I deal with guests and clients all day and I would never ever talk like that about them....especially TO them!!! What pisses me off even more is the fact of how many people would have appreciated being in his position to even have a job. However, on a good note, the associates on the floor were very helpful and kind to everyone. One girl even took the time to walk a customer to the aisle he needed even tho it was way on the other side of the store. read more

I really do not know why I keep coming here, I don't like torturing myself so there the only other explanation is that it's close. Today just blew my mind, I don't think the staff really works here I just think they hang out. An elderly woman in a mobile cart asked one of the employees where the lightbulbs were - not only did the employee not know she didn't bother to help the woman find them. I was absolutely stunned, how can you not know where the light bulbs are, how can you not even offer to help?! A few minutes later I asked another employee when the Halloween items were going to be put out (all of the shelves were empty and the holiday decor pointing out the Halloween items were up). I was told "In a few weeks." So you are just going to let these shelves sit empty for a few weeks taking up valuable space in your store - doubtful. Target do any of your employees know anything or are just random people putting on bad red shirts and name tags and hanging out in your poorly air conditioned store? The last thing that really got to me today is the solicitors that are outside - in front of you sign that says you do not support them. You may not support them but they are still on your property bothering you customers for money. The only one good thing that has happened is that someone finally ran out the homeless people that were camping next to the store for the last 2 months - thank you for that. read more

Then when I call to inquire about next steps, no one in guest services EVER answers the phone. It's so annoying. This hands down has to be the worst run Target I've ever been to. read more

This location is always out of stock on everything. Some of the cashiers have no personality and there are a few that are very nice and friendly. Employees that work in the returns department are nice. There was a specific Cashier male I think his name take said Garrett. I said hi and he ignored me and just told me what my total was. He handed me my changed and didn't say anything at all so rude.. If your not a people person then maybe you shouldn't work there. I have been there a few times within 2-3 weeks to purchase a training potty for my son. 4 weeks later they still have not restocked. read more
