Since I have lived around this area for about a year now. I have been coming to this Target a lot of times!! I love what they did with making this target a market inside. The market is located on the left side of the entrance way. It is a pretty large target and it has a lot of of variety of products. What I think target has been doing though is putting a lot of Target Owned brands than they use to. I still love them just as much. What I mostly come here to buy are essentials for daily living in a comfortable environment. What might that be?? Well lets see some of the items that I always pick up at target is hypo allergenic cotton round pads *for your face*, tooth paste, paper plates, chocolate *such as kit kats*, nail polish *from Rimmel- the new brush is awesome* and the occasional CD. This Target has a lot of parking spaces, a lot of people to ring you up and this place is super clean I couldn't imagine it being unorganized unless California had an earthquake. ;) read more

I normally don't write reviews for department stores but I was just blown away by the kindness I received tonight. Came in for a couple of random pet items and the associate at self checkout, John, was so sweet and helpful. When he saw me struggling he immediately came over to help me scan my items. He saw I had some cat items and told me about his cat. The joy on his face truly made my night and gave me a memorable experience on what could have just been a quick uneventful errand. The self checkout is closed with only 2 registers open and 10 and 12 people waiting to check out. The manager Jackie is standing in the jewelry department just standing there just watching. A customer finally asks her to open more registers and then she acts. It's not the customer's job to tell the manager how to do her job, that's why she's the manager. Open more registers! read more

I just did a drive up here and man did it take long. I noted on the app that I was on my way, like I do every other location and still waited over 15 minutes when I got there. It didn't seem like it was busy and there were only about 3 other lanes parked in the drive up parking spaces. We were in a hurry, of course, and this stop made us even more late. They were necessities for our baby, but I have them At least a 15-20 minute heads up that we were on our way and still had to wait that long? I think I could've went in and made it out of there sooner. It was quite ridiculous. The guy was nice when he finally came, but yeah I won't be doing drive up pickups at this location. They close all the registers like two hours before they close and cause a huge line to form. They don't have the decency to say when a line is close so you're just left waiting. Typical workers DO NOT REPOND AND JUST LEAVE THE REGISTER WITH A LINE. Terrible. Leave your self check out open if your employees can't handle a line. read more

My son had received a gift card from his grandparents for his birthday. When went to pay, the cashier had said there was no money on the card, which there was money because I had the activation receipt. The manager was called and he look up the card and said it was empty. I told him I had the activation receipt and he said he didn't card and it's not the real receipt. He was giving so much attitude, making it seem like we were stealing or lying. I am so tired of Target gift cards always being "empty" do better target. read more

I'm sorry but the fitting rooms being "closed" just doesn't work for me. It's extremely inconvenient to buy something only to realize it doesn't fit and have to come back for a return. Also when I asked the girl working if there were any other fitting rooms, she snappily replied "the fitting rooms are closed!" Yea clearly I can see the one that you're in with piles of returns is closed. Sorry I don't have a map of your store handy and know if there are any other fitting room options. I love shopping at target, but lately not so much. I tend to shop later in the evenings and I notice they no longer have registers available/open in the evening only self-checkout. I really can not stand self-check-out especially when I have a lot of groceries/products to scan myself it took forever. Not only that I kept forgetting what I scanned last. Lines are longer at self-check-out due to the time it takes to scan all items. Target really needs to at least have 1 register open at night. Again SOOOOO not happy with self-check-out. read more

I really like this location. The employees seem to be trained differently or perhaps the management is just hiring better people here. They have these "express" lanes next to the self-check out, which today had a line, so the cashier standing at the "express" lane invited me over so she could go ahead and check me out. I noticed it was for orders of 10 items or less and I wasn't sure how many I had but she said it didn't matter, "I'm here to help." How nice! On a previous visit last month, I had another great experience. There was a really cool coverlet on the clearance end cap. I didn't see a price on it anywhere. So I laid it back down on the shelf and dismissed the idea of finding out the price. Well, then I saw an employee and I asked him about it. He was super cool and nice. He found out it was not supposed to be on the clearance end cap but if I was interested in it, I could have it for 50% off because of the misplacement. I was like, "Whoa, are you serious?" He was serious. When I explained this to the cashier, she informed me that I had spoken to the Big Man in charge. I had no idea. She totally and happily honored the price reduction. The coverlet has made my bedroom look so much better, thanks to Target. read more

I love Target's drive up! I place an order and its ready in minutes! When I arrive it's brought out in seconds. This service is extremely convenient, especially for those with children. I've used this service quite a few time already and employees are always so nice and polite. ******UPDATE I always shop target. I love the cart wheel and the red card discount, but last night I was searching for a calculator to purchase. I found the one I wanted to buy, it was selling for $44.99. So I thought great I will go in store to purchase it. When I arrived at the store I looked it up to find the aisle number and took a screenshot the price showed $44.99. When I couldn't find it I asked an associate if they had some in the back. They asked if I can pull up the item number. When I did I noticed the price went up $10 within minutes it was now $54.99. Target changed the price based on my location. Since the calculator was in the back I'm not sure what price it was being sold for in store. I was able to price match but I find it unfair to those who get stuck paying a higher price based on their location. (The price went up in both the app and the internet browser) read more

Don't bother going to this Target until the remodel is finished. I'm pregnant and had to use the restroom while shopping. First of all, the restrooms are now located outside, which is incredibly inconvenient. Secondly, when I opened the door to the portable restroom, it was being cleaned but it looked like they were wrapping up the cleaning process. I barely had time to process what I was looking at before the woman cleaning rudely snapped "we're cleaning, you can't come in!" Sorry, I couldn't see through the door to know you were cleaning. How dare I open the door. When I explained it was an emergency because I'm pregnant, she told me to use the wheelchair accessible restroom, which was the only helpful thing she did. Do yourself a solid and go to a different Target that isn't a mess due to remodeling and has staff that is more polite. read more

one of my favorite targets (the other one is the brea location) mainly because it's less than a mile away from my house lol. the employees are super nice...but honestly if you're in a rush here's a warning a lot of the cashiers talk to you...a lot lol it's super clean and very well organized. another thing every week there are sales! i.e. every wednesday: children's clothes on sale and men's clothes on sale and every tuesday: women's clothes on sale. call ahead and check ANOTHER NOTE! this target closes at 11 PM (unlike the other target's closing at 10) probably because the wal-mart on beach and imperial is open 24 hours. but honestly...target is WAY better than wal mart. it's cleaner and the lines are never long (wal mart lines are horrid) read more

Do not purchase gift cards here. I bought $500 in airline gift cards for my mother's birthday present, which was lost in the mail. After a frustrating morning calling between USPS, Target and Southwest, was instructed to go to store. With my original receipt, this Target store including Manager could not even check balances on card, if they were stolen , much less offer a refund or at least an apology. To add insult to injury, they threatened to remove me because I was upset. Basically their response was "you're screwed." I will certainly NEVER patronize this store, nor shop at target again. Went into target to get 1 item and run out. Didn't plan on interacting with anyone, any employees, or anything. I ended up with more than one item (always happens...) and talking to a couple employees. Every employee I spoke too was genuinely happy and helped me find things I was looking for. They all had a huge smile and bubbly personality which was nice to experience because it made me smile as well. The parking is easy and the staff are super nice and friendly. They are easy to approach for help and have great customer service. The target was very clean. All the isles were clean and orderly as well so it made it easy to find things and walk through isles. read more

I just had the best experience with Jared the store director at the Target La Habra. Originally, I had a store order pickup today to pick up my child's bike and it was missing some parts. Well, Jared apologized for the inconvenience and made it right. That is what you call going above and beyond! I can honestly say, not all Targets are the same. This by far is my favorite location! This store has always had the best customer service and I can see why. There is proper training, everyone is genuinely nice and helpful. I needed a pair of workout pants that were on clearance and a young gentleman walked me to the area and found them! That was very super sweet! Thank you for always making my day here. I super love Target, it's my most favorite store in the whole . I felt the need to write a review on this particular location and recognize an employee named Owen. I was shopping for a bunch of stuff one day since I did my wedding registry here and since Target gives a discount on the stuff that wasn't purchased on the registry, I took advantage. I did however leave one bag behind by mistake. I later came back and Owen helped me walked the store to retrieve the items I forgot. He did it in such a way that he was happy to do it. Most people would get annoyed or just act indifferent but Owen just seemed happy. That's the kind of employee all stores should have. He even offered to carry my items to the front. Get this: Walmart, located nearby, was open until 8:30 p.m. Target was open til ten! WUT??? Hard to believe. Scored two 32GB flash drives for $4.99 each, two NY strip steaks for 30% off, and a $5 gift card for buying $20 worth of makeup: most of which was 50% clearance, AND I had a $2 coupon for the CoverGirl lipstick. Horrible!! Do NOT EVER shop at Target again!!! Target passed a new policy last month that if you lose your receipt and want to EXCHANGE, not return, just EXCHANGE they will only give you 30% of the current value??? Seriously!!!! I bought a $120.00 item 8 days ago and wanted to just exchange it for something more expensive but they only wanted to give me $30 in store credit. Unbelievable!!! Target can suck a big one!!!! I love Target. The emails honestly get excessive but the deals are worth it sometimes. Download the Target app, and you can link all your stuff on it! They don't have the cartwheel app anymore because they merged it into the Target app. When you check out or are ready to purchase online, you only need to scan one barcode. This Target "use" to be good but has gone down hill real quick. No customer service skills, no proper sanitize protocol in place (carts all over the parking stalls, no one properly cleaning the carts that are in the store, self checkouts not cleaned after every use, no hand sanitizer at some registers....VERY poor service. Today's experience was great! Found everything we needed, and more ( of course). The check out experience in line #4 (no name on the receipt) was the best. This you g man checked if we needed anything more, and made sure all the red card went through and all the coupons I was expecting to come of did. Very thorough young man and went above and beyond. Had to return the dog food I bought. The security officer was very helpful and told us where to stand. Waited a few seconds and within a few seconds, the dog food was returned. What a pleasant experience I need to add that everyone, all the way to the Starbucks barista were extra friendly today. Thank you!! read more

While shopping at Target my daughter was caught on the edge of the isle scratching her leg and nearly tearing her clothes. I was shocked that in a children's isle. this issue was not addressed two weeks later after pointing out to employees. it's a huge risk and could have been a lot worse. read more

The + side: Lots of parking Mostly well-stocked items Fairly organized The - side: Rude fatheads are aplenty here (& this says a lot coming from me)... the cashier was nice, but otherwise the other shoppers have no common courtesy & the rest of the employees displayed no genuine customer service skills whatsoever. I had an issue from another target in brea where the cashier double charged me since I live nearby I came to this target to see if I could get it fixed. Josh was able to help me out and he was super friendly and very intuitive. It took about 15 minutes to try and figure out why my receipt wasn't adding up and come to find out not only was I double charged at brea but I was also overcharged. Here's the good news: this Target location is consistent. The bad news: it's consistently disappointing and an irritating shopping experience. Employees need to make more of an effort to collect shopping carts. I try to park in the handicap parking spaces or at least very close to the store entrance for my dad and we are usually greeted by abandoned shopping carts. Then we walk inside only to find that the scooter carts are not charged or unavailable. And shout out and thanks to shoppers who insist on darting out in front of it as they see it approaching instead of being a kind, courteous human being and wait two seconds for the motorized scooter to go by. Went into this target location to look for something specific. I immediately went to purchase my popcorn, the take-home bag, because target in general, has the best popcorn. Was I wrong! I watched as the girl filled my bag by scraping the bottom of the popcorn maker each time. I thought, "No, she's not really doing that; it just looks like it." Boy, was I wrong. I decided to walk into the store to look for the items I needed. What a mess! Where are the floor/store managers? I walked into several departments-searching for my items. Each time, each department, I was just baffled on just how they are able to stay in business with such a disgusting store. There's actually trash on the floors. Trash. Not just small pieces, but larger items. Even a dirty diaper! Pick them up people. What is wrong here? Would you eat at a restaurant where it was filthy? I think not! Shame on the people for littering, but also the blame falls on the employees for not cleaning/picking up. Needles to say, I got disgusted and walked out, without my items. I waited at the electronics department for about 10 minutes walking in circles with my cart looking for someone. I turn down an isle and come back to what I wanted and there was a customer standing there with an associate. I ask that associate if he was able to open the case and he said no he was calling someone. So, I hear him radio for assistance and a lady say, "I'm coming, but it will be a minute." By now I have been standing there for 15 minutes and I told the guy that. I waited another couple of minutes, but finally had to leave cuz I was now running late to where I had to be. The upgrades on inside the store are awesome, but that doesn't make up for horrible customer service. And not to mention that the bathrooms are always dirty to the point you'd rather hold it. read more

This is my neighborhood store and I am here weekly can sometimes more. I like how I can get everything in one place (household items, groceries, etc). That is if the items are stocked. I try to go in the mornings or early afternoon to avoid crowds and almost every time the aisle are full of boxes and carts waiting to be stocked, I've overheard a few shoppers commenting on the mess or having to shop around it all. If something is on sale, especially on Cartwheel, chances are you won't find it in the store. A few times I asked an employee to check the back and they can't find any of the sale item. So I stopped asking for them to check and I usually have to go to another Target. So although it's convenient, I hardly can find everything I want and end up going to another store or another Target to find everything on my list. Lots of parking out front and on the side, carts are always everywhere though. read more
