I've been coming here for 6 years and target in general for an eternity. Never in a single one of my visits has an employee pissed me off as much as this one. The lady at the checkout counter told my ten year old niece that he shorts were inappropriate. The shorts were at her fingertips, baggy, and sweat pants material. She's 10. She's already struggling with insecurity issues and shouldn't have to deal with this kind of rude behavior from a grown woman. She said "you see your shorts aren't appropriate to be out in public" and my niece replied "these are my weekend shorts. They're comfy and they're longer than my fingers. I don't usually go out in these" and the employee replied with "and yet here you are out in those shorts." I have NEVER experience such a rude and awful person. Who says that to a ten year old girl? We didn't go to target to get shamed by an employee. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

It gets 1 star ONLY because 0 isn't an option. Honestly I had not had issues with this store until today. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, but today soured me from this particular target for good. Seeing a group of teenage boys riding the handicapped scooters banging into the shelves and merchandise only to have a store employee go over and forcefully scold them. In this scolding he tells them they they are going to damage their merchandise and they had to stop being so rowdy or he was getting security to remove them. Sounds great right? It was at that point he then told those boys they could stay in the scooters, but quit hitting their stuff! So your items for sale are more important than the handicapped people that go in, myself and my husband included as we are handicapped. My husband was so mad at what we had just witnessed he decided to bring it to the attention of another employee at the front as those boys drove past her on them while she just stood there. She went to a male employee after apologizing to my husband as she could clearly see he is disabled. There they both watched those boys get on other scooters as we were leaving. I was so upset as sometime my unseen handicap of muscle deterioration has landed me in those scooters at times if my wheelchair wasn't handy, I called and told the manager what happened and listened to her lie to me saying "we saw them getting on and made them get off right away." I then told her that wasn't true because I happened to be with my husband who had to complain, then and only then did they do something, but not before they had been seen all over that store by other employees. I expressed my disgust that handicapped customers mean so little to them, as long as their items for sale are ok and they make money. You lost some shoppers today Cal oaks target read more

I would leave no stars if it was an option. The store is dirty. Items on floor. Baskets in the aisles with go backs. Self check out is never open. Lack of cashiers is crazy. The lines are stupidly long and when you ask the cashier lead if anyone can back up,you get a deer in the headlight look and a curt no. Then Norma chimes in to tell maybe maybe I'd feel better at wal mart they are probably more my kind of people. When I asked what she meant her and the 2 cashiers she was standing with just laughed. I have stuck with this store and not the nicer one on Clinton Keith as I did not want to see the original store close but with attitudes like Norma I could care less. I was told the manager is on maternity leave so there was no one for me to complain to. I have already sent in feedback to home office but I doubt I will near a thing. read more

Today marked one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this Target. While getting ready for work this morning, I surfed the net in search of gaming news and deals. Needless to say I was ecstatic to see that Sony had begun to dish out the new price for their PS4 console ($349.99). So upon getting off work, I immediately went over to this particular Target store. It only carried two PS4 bundles, the new Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection and the old but still wonderful The Last of Us Bundle. I was surprised, however, to find that the price tag was still listed as $399.99, contrary to what the Target website stated. I informed the associate of Electronics and told him of the new price, but he disagreed, stating that the console was still on sale for $399.99. "Check the website," I said. He complied by checking the site on his smartphone and agreed that the new price was $349.99. "Okay," he told me. "Bring the console to Guest Service and they'll help you sort out everything." I assumed that the transaction would be completed without issues, but I was wrong. The woman at Guest Service informed me that the bundle was still listed at $399.99 on the website, even when I told her it wasn't. "No. The website says that all bundles are sold at $349.99, and they come with a free $50.00 gift card." "Well," she tapped a few keystrokes on the keyboard, "that's only if you buy it online." Flustered, I left the store and called the Target in Temecula and spoke to an Electronics employee, who possessed the customer service skills comparable to that of a monkey. "If they told you it's $399.99 over there in Cal Oaks, then it's $399.99 here," she told me. "Can you at least double check your system over there? It should be $349.99 with a free gift card like your website says. But the associate over here says otherwise. You're giving me the same answer that she gave me." "If she already gave you an answer then why did you call here?" I hung up and went by Bestbuy, Walmart, and even Gamestop, all of which had the console listed at $349.99. I came home to check the Target website one more time, only to see that the PS4 Uncharted and Last of Us bundles were listed at $349.99 "with a free $50 gift card upon purchase." It also did not mention anything about "online offer" only like the lady at Guest Service suggested. I then called the Cal Oaks Target once more and spoke to a wonderful associate. She asked her manager, who not only reserved the console in my name but agreed to sell it to me at the new price. I drove back to the store only to be serviced by another rude associate at Guest Service. "I spoke to an electronic associate on the phone about twenty minutes ago," I told her, "and she said that--" "I'm well aware of the situation, sir. But I need to price match it with the website and verify that it's the correct price." I have never yelled at a retail worker in my life, but I came quite close. Fortunately, standing behind me was customer who informed the Guest Service woman that the new price for the PS4 was indeed $349.99 with a $50 gift card upon purchase. "He's right," she said, holding up her cellphone to the associate's face. "I got an e-mail from Target saying that there's a new price for the PS4." The lady behind Guest Service had no choice but to ring up my purchase at the correct price. Fuck you, Target. read more

Customer service is terrible. I was standing in line waiting to check out, the line had a fair amount of people, when another cashier came along she pulled someone from behind the line and helped her, it was obvious that she knew that person because of the Friendly chatter. The moral of the story's is if your friends come into the store give them good customer service, everyone else stand in long lines and wait your turn. read more

I went in today to grab A couple of last minutes items for a trip I'm taking. Took me about fifteen minutes to collect my items and head over to the registers. Their card readers went down and only started accepting cash payments. I put my order on hold and went home to grab cash because I only had my card on me. When I came back, the few people I had asked couldn't locate my order that was placed on hold. I ended up having to go back and collect these items off the shelf again but they gave me a discount! They were all very friendly, despite all of the madness going on! Although it took me over an hour for a trip that could have been 20 minutes, I'm not upset at all. Especially because of the way the ladies over at customer service handled it! read more

Worst experience ever, I want to go back in to fill out a comment card but I will settle for this. So I walk up to this lady to make my purchase, probably 70 years old, snooty, gray Hair and the conputer froze while they were running my card so she had to call over the manager. So the Hispanic female manager walked over and because the computer froze my card declined, so the way she told the manager was condescending and she laughed about it. Then after I told the manager it was because the computer froze the older lady told me "oh, because her card got declined our system froze." again sarcastic and rude while laughing. So I had them run my card again and the purchase went through just fine...worst customer service I have ever recieved. read more

I love Target, but they never seem to have the matching tops and pants or shorts in correlating sizes. They have tops in size 4 and matching shirts in size 2. The buyer needs to pay better attention to matching tops and bottoms size wise in the children's dept. read more

This store is actually really nice compared to the ones by my house. It's clean, well stocked, and pretty organized. We were in search of pull-ups and found a good selection. They had some good deals on kids clothes too so we picked up a few things. The cashier was really friendly as was the manager on duty who had to ring up our booze for us. When we're in the area, this is the Target I like coming to. read more

I just had the most amazing experience at this store. I have been looking to purchase some end tables for forever and three associates performed excellent customer service assisting me. A male associate was willing to help me get the awkward pieces down although he was working on another task. At checkout another associate was able to arranged for assistance to my car. Once I got home, I called to compliment these customer service to management. A grateful Stephan was so happy to hear about it. I asked Stephan a question about the price difference an item I purchased; he told me to come back to the store so that the price could be corrected! I'm amazed at this quality of services I received. I always go to target (and spend way to much money there) and will make this the only target I shop at as long as the service stays at this quality! read more

This is the BEST pharmacy we have ever used. Bill and Michelle are both extremely helpful. Our youngest son has a severe chronic condition so we are in the pharmacy often, Bill always asks how he is doing. Michelle just went out of her way to check other pharmacies for a medication Target was unable to order for us . This is outstanding customer service that is very rare! read more

Terrible experience! I had two orders to pickup from a Target.com order. Part of one order was also being shipped to my home as it was not available in store. I received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup but they couldn't find my order. No other store had the item so they offered to refund this part of the order, but I would not get a full refund since I used a $25 off a $75 order coupon. I asked if they could combine the two orders but they couldn't. I asked to return part of my 2nd order since it was not what I expected but they couldn't do that because the online order hadn't met up with their system yet. So I was forced to leave with an item I wanted to return and didn't get a full refund for an item they lost. The nearest store is 20 minutes from my house and I now have to make another trip do accomplish what should have been done while I was in the store. This wasted about 1.5 hours of my day and I still have to make a trip to return the item I didn't want. read more

The register had printed out 4 coupons to use on my next purchase so I did. When I went to use them the cashier screwed the coupon order up and had to call the shift leader over. The shift leader made it her personal mission to be argumentative with me on how the coupons should be rung up. It was a $5.00 off two items how hard is that? Honestly!!! Whatever if you don't know how to ring up your own darn coupons then maybe your registers should not print them for your customers! She tried it her way and discovered it didn't work... Duh. Listen to your customer next time. It was not rocket science! read more

Kathy was so helpful and professional. She let me know about their Target card that will save me 5% which is great since I shop at Target 3-5 times per week. I also don't like wasting plastic bags so it was really cool when she put a tape handle on my box of detergent for easier carrying. Today I went into Target to get some dog treats and I needed a mobility cart, I saw a lot person bringing one in a he was so pleasent he waited for me and asked if I needed any help I was so pleased at his kindness so I asked his name,It was Trevor his customer service was wonderful .Then while I was looking for dog treats and couldn't find then another wonderful customer happened Her name is Mindy so helpful and and kind this is the sort of people need at Target personel who lovetheir jobs and customers. read more

Although they usually have a variety of the item you're looking for available the selection isnt very broad and the store is dated compared to the Clinton Keith/215 location. customer service is so-so, par for target stores in general. no starbucks inside this store. read more

Poor customer service! Lied to on phone about refund policy. Showed up to get a refund and was lied to again by another store employee. Fat lazy manager came out told me a different story and a different lie and refused to refund me even though receipt said differently. This location sucks. read more

This place is clean and they have good selections. Their place to eat is not something I would recommend. The foods didn't look fresh. Their employee could have been more friendlier. I am very disappointed in the level of disrespect to both me and my child. I am outraged with this lady that was flat out rude and Obnoxious. I was about to buy socks for my child when this rude employe came up and told me I need to get my son out of the back of the shopping cart. Terrible return service... Was 7 people in line and one cashier... The cashier refused to return my item for full price even though I had a receipt... Claimed that because it had been switched with another size that there was no way to look it up using the card I used to purchase it because there is no payment method collected at time of exchange. Ridiculous.. I had a valid receipt and was given $12 less than what paid due to "company policy".. Thank you Kendra at store #1283 for making me take my shopping elsewhere.. Not happy with this Target. I had a coupon that was emailed to me from their mailing list, and when I tried to use it in store, they said they don't honor online coupons. It said right on the coupon, "For In-store use only." When I pointed that out to the cashier, she called her manager over, who before I even said a word had a bad attitude. She looked at me and said, "Yes?" Wow. How about a can I help you or what seems to be the problem? I explained the situation to her, she looked at the coupon and told me the same thing. They wouldn't honor it. When I asked her how she could not honor a coupon that is from Target that says "in store only", she just said we have nothing to do with online and kept repeating it over and over again. Then she actually started yelling at me when I told her she wasn't answering my question and I wasn't leaving until I got an answer that made sense to me. After a couple minutes she said " I don't know what to tell you, sorry lady." And threw a complaints card at me with an 800 number. Over a $10 coupon, it seems a little ridiculous to tick off a good customer and redcard member. If someone actually had a valid reason why they wouldn't take the coupon I would have accepted it and moved on but....when I have a valid coupon and no reason not to take it....? I can't say that I wouldn't have had the same issue at another target ....but I'm shopping at the one on Clinton Keith from now on. On top of the rude management, the Cal Oaks store is dirty, and rarely ever fully stocked. read more

Although this Target has very helpful team members it isn't as nice as the one off of Clinton Keith. The other nearby target has a better market and selection. It is also very clean and organized. I wish our closer Target was more like it. read more

Just roaming around and see a possibly terrific buy on a TV....not knowing a thing about TV's I elicit the assistance of Christopher in the electronics dept. He was very personable, but also very savvy about what constituted a good buy. He didn't try to pressure me to spend more than I desired...he simply answered my questions and gave me all the information I needed to make the right choice for me. His sidekick, Joseph was very helpful in ringing up the sale and making my shopping experience all that it should be. Later, when we returned to the store to see about buying some additional TV supplies, Christopher immediately recognized us and came to our rescue yet again! As an aside, in our excitement from buying the TV, we accidentally left a bag of items at the register. Chris walked with us to CS to obtain the bag. We weren't even aware that it was missing! Good going guys! Thanks for all of your help. Will rec you to all of our friends who may be looking to buy something in electronics. Target is ok...but you, Christopher and Joseph, were what made this transaction so memorable! Thanks again! read more
