Everyone knows Target, but the Target here is what we should call 'tar-jay'. Very fancy, emulating that of boutique stores in its display style and organization. Clothing collection looks good too. It is a very different Target than the typical ones we know and it is fun to check it out. I however, had nothing I needed from here. read more

I hate leaving a bad review but here it goes. I came here to get this little gold snowman for home decor. It takes 30 minutes by train for me to get here. I walk in and in under 10 minutes get my item. I'm about to go back home and notice the little guy doesn't have his hat. So I go back to the store asked for another one they are sold out. They did my return in minutes. My reason for the negative feedback is the cost of travel and I was given a broken item. The staff who helped me get five stars. I just feel bad for the next person who has to come all the way down here and given a broken item. The store was very clean so props for that. read more

Why would they keep everything except body wash?? The redesign is just bells and whistles

We came in for a beauty product - the prices were a bit high - but it's NYC so we expect that. The store is clean and the signage is good. The cashier seemed not to listen to me -right away I told her we don't need a bag (it's NYC so you pay for the bags and I had a tote to put the item in) and she proceeded to ask me again. I actually don't think she deducted the nickel from my receipt but I had already left. That's sloppy service. It's still weird to see a Target in SoHo but it's certainly needed - just my mind doesn't see the mainstream stores fitting in there. It's located at Broadway and Lafayette - the other Targets are a good distance away (14th Street and Grand Streets). They do have electronics, groceries, home goods too. If you need to use the facilities, you must find a team member to get the combination. - just a word to the wise. read more

I came to this new Target store to pick up some essentials. It has two floors. The first floor has beauty, checkout and a few healthcare items and the rest of the stuff is on the lower floors. It is more like a Target Express as they don't have a lot of variety. They do have some sales but most of the items were out of stock. The aisles are well-stocked and lite. The store does look a bit dingy though even though it's brand new. There was a leaky vent on the bottom floors that they had to put caution signs all over. The staff can be hit and miss. read more

The set up of this Target is a bit different than most. There is an main floor and downstairs. We were looking for a bottle of water. If you need to use their facilities while there, there is a combination lock on the door. You will need to find a team member to help you open the door. Found our water and continued on. read more

Super excited to have a Target in such convenient location! It's located right at the corner of Broadway Lafayette - I know I'll be visiting here often since the Targets on 14th St and the one on Grand Street are a good 20 mins away. So far it looks fully stocked with new products as well. There's an upstairs and a downstairs with escalators and overall seems like a pretty big space. There is the grocery section, and the order pickup and self checkout are all pretty obvious. Yay Target! The hours are 8AM - 9PM everyday! read more

self service and cashier are available. I think stationary sections are very expensive at target. this store sell grocery as well. NYPD is standing by the entrance so you feel pretty safe to shop. This is right next to the subway. it's very convenient to shop. read more

smallest Target i've been to...but really organized, brightly lit, and well-maintained. honestly, i have probably walked by this Target so many times without realizing it was there--very inconspicuous Target in SoHo. most of the merchandise is located below street level--from groceries to home goods to electronics. even though this Target is small, it doesn't feel super claustrophobic. staff were ever present and there to help. read more

It is alright. It's recently opened so everything is gorgeous and well stocked. It's convenient for sure. I could see myself popping in if I forgot milk on the way home. The toy selection is small. They're two floors. It should be opened later than 9pm imo. Target really is just NYC'S Walmart. We should stop pretending. read more

I can't believe there's a Target in Soho. Speaking of, it has changed tremendously! To see that new building take over what use to be a gas station and auto shop was a disturbing sight. And my Puck Fair!! Regardless, I still love the new Target location. It's on the smaller size filled with it's essentials. They have the drinks, freezer, produce, household items like toilet paper stuff downstairs. Upstairs, is filled with lotions, hair products, make up etc. Some items require an associate to have to open the lock but what are you going to do? The service was friendly. I forgot the cashier's name I had but she was super nice! She was understanding and helped me price match some of the shampoos I had with its own online prices. No attitudes, just good vibes. I'm happy Soho has a Target nearby since the original fruit stand from around the corner isn't there anymore. Neither is Dean and Deluca. read more

This target is a disappointment. The customer service is quite poor. The registers are unmanned and one is directed to the self service. Meanwhile, there are no less than 4 employees near these machines. My uncle is 82 years old and he was ignored while he attempted to get help. He asked to check out and was resentfully told that the machines are there. He walked out and we returned together. I watched this happen AGAIN! I finally just did the scan and used a credit card to check out. Why did I do that in spite of the disrespect? Because one day the machines will replace the wasted salaries. This is a neighborhood store and building relationships with the community is important. The ageist approach will determine much. And those employees.. they will age and process will leave them with little skills. read more

I was walking by on the way to the subway and was surprised to see a Target here, so I stopped in for a quick grocery run. Nice store; very clean and attractive, and lots of self-checkouts, which I like. This is much nicer than regular large Target stores, and certainly better than Walmart. read more

I bought earpods once and it stopped working and i tried returning it within the same week but they said they need the box that came with it and suggestted to just buy it again? They didnt give me any way to help and just wanted to say no and want me to leave. I just ended up caving in and bought new pairs because i really need one so bad. THE LEFT EAR COVER BROKE OFF WITHIN TWO DAYS AND i was just so out of words but in my head i thought returning should be at least 30 days so i kinda laid it off and j listened with one ear for abit. When i went in for return they told me it's actually 10days return,the date has been passed 5days and they can't do anything about it?? SECOND TIME!! I was getting thrown out without any help or a little compromising. It took the manager 10mins to come out for help for me and the other customer.We were just waiting while the line is getting longer. Just for him to look once and say nothing we can do sorry. Was at the Soho store earlier with my family and was really disappointed to witness a store manager - I think I over heard that her name was Okima or Onike - a delivery woman was in the store trying to get help with a large order and instead of helping the woman, the manager delayed the whole process and practically caused a scene. It almost appeared as if the the delivery woman was doing something wrong when in fact she was just doing her job. What made it frustrating was that the store caused a significant delay to whoever this delivery was for. Local customers and local delivery drivers should NEVER have to experience issues like this when ordering/delivering items. My family usually has deliveries coming out of this location and what I witnessed today makes me think twice about wether I ever want to order from this location ever again. The delivery woman was clearly dealing with a large order which she mentioned MANY TIMES. The carts are not allowed out of the store which is why she was asking for help. Attention to the store manager!! I'm not sure if you realized how many of us were watching you, but we were. A lot of us were about to help the delivery woman ourselves but after almost 10 minutes of you delaying this woman and the customer, you FINALLY helped after frustrating the entire process. I even overheard the delivery woman express her disappointment as well in the nicest and most professional way. Kudos to the delivery woman for holding her composure, but what I witnessed today bothered me so much that I had to leave a review. SHAME ON YOU TARGET SOHO.
